Catering by Corey

Corey and her team were great. Corey was very professional, kind, patient, and flexible with our event/menu. We were very strict on budget and she was able to help us create a menu within our budget but still make it personalized to our likes and favorite foods.

Our cocktail appetizers were so unique to my husband and I and a huge hit overall. And we got so many compliments on how good the food was! Corey and team were so fantastic, that they made sure to include some vegan and dietary restriction options for a few bridal party members. So thoughtful! And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful the entire process. We appreciated the dedicated server making sure we got our cocktail apps and dinner.

I was happy to support another Johnson & Wales alum and highly recommend Catering by Corey. I just wish I had better photos to share!

Corey's team was amazing to work with! I contacted them during the busy Fall 2022 wedding season and they were one of the few companies that sent a prompt response. This consideration and reliability was consistent throughout the planning process.

Corey patiently addressed all my inquiries and graciously accommodated multiple menu changes. Lindsey was on site for my venue walkthrough as well as my May, 2023 wedding and was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. A few days after the wedding, I learned there had been some significant generator problems (it was an outdoor wedding). However, Corey's people were such pros, guests had no idea!

The food itself is delicious and the team’s timing impeccable. Following the ceremony, they gave my husband and me a few moments with the photographer before offering us glasses of water and a tray of appetizers, ensuring we didn't miss out on cocktail hour. I highly recommend the Appalachian egg rolls, bacon-wrapped figs, tostones with duck confit, and roasted red pepper stuffed mushrooms.

Our guests loved how quickly and seamlessly CbC served the plated dinners of trout with lemon beurre blanc, filet mignon with chimichurri, and vegan mushroom risotto. CbC also set up a coffee service after cake cutting which was a big hit. A nice finishing touch was being sent home with boxes of leftovers which my husband and I enjoyed the next day for lunch.

Wedding planning can be stressful, but working with your vendors doesn’t have to be. If you value quality food, excellent communication, and professional service, I wholeheartedly recommend Corey, Lindsey, and their entire team. They made our wedding day even more special and our guests still rave about the delicious food and impeccable service

Corey and her team were incredible. They helped create a beautiful menu, and even custom made many aspects of our menu. The unique and special touches to our wedding food made the event that much better.

Everything was also delicious. Some of the most heard compliments were on our food. So many people expressed how good the food was and how unique it was. The staff was also extremely friendly and helpful in the entire process.

I would highly recommend Catering by Corey for any event and I would use them again without hesitation. They were professional and made our event so easy and special. From the beginning planning stages, Corey made me feel comfortable and took the stress off of me. We had special diets, which were all taken care of with no complaints, and which were delicious. The day of staff were amazing. They knew so much about the venue, they helped sort out those issues as well. Our guests are still complimenting us on the food and service. You will not be disappointed by hiring Corey for your event.

Catering By Corey was absolutely amazing for our wedding. The variety/options available were plentiful. I also really appreciated Corey's attention to detail while working with our planner. She went above and beyond to nail the menu while also being extremely helpful in catering to our needs (No Pun intended!) by even working to supply and coordinate rentals for tableware and the logistics to bring the dinner we wanted for our reception to life! The food was absolutely amazing and everything I wanted it to be. Many of our guest were raving about the dinner! Would recommend going with Catering by Corey for anyone looking to get married in Asheville!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Catering by Corey! It was an easy decision to go with them after hearing such great things from the AVL wedding community. Corey was always super responsive and organized throughout the planning process. They were willing to go above and beyond to make our menu customized and personal to us as a couple. We were thrilled to hear how much our guests raved about the food– the squash casserole specifically was a huge hit! They were absolutely amazing! We had a vegan/vegetarian wedding and everybody absolutely loved the food, even the skeptical people 😅. During cocktail hour they personally came out to my husband and I with appetizers to make sure that we ate. They plated our food and had our wine ready to go for us when we sat down, again making sure that we ate. They even overheard that one of my sensory-sensitive family members was not eating and without even asking they found out a food that he liked and brought it to him to make sure he ate. I cannot recommend them enough. They are absolutely amazing! The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious!

I absolutely loved working with this catering team! They took care of our clients incredibly, had tons of options for all kinds of eating needs, and were just incredible people making incredible dishes. As a wedding vendor, I've seen tons of caterers but rarely do I feel compelled to leave a stellar review like this! Truly one of a kind.

I cannot say enough good things about Corey and her team. From great communication in the planning process to execution the day of our wedding, it was all perfect. The food was amazing- we did three stations (Asian stir fry, shrimp and grits, and Italian) and so many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was. This was really important to me because I didn't want basic wedding food (although if you want a typical wedding meal I am sure Corey could do it with her eyes closed ;) The staff also was wonderful. They were helpful, quick and everyone seemed to be on top of things, which is the most you can ask for on a hectic day like your wedding. I interviewed several caterers before making my decision and I am so happy with my choice. Thank you again, Corey!

Catering by Corey was the talk of the wedding!! We opted to do two different food stations, the pasta and the Asian stir fry, and they were a HIT! Both were delicious and multiple people went up for seconds! The star though really was the staff. Taylor made sure me and my husband were taken care of the entire night and the rest of the staff were absolute pros and had everything go off without a hitch. I had no fear of booking with them because every person that I told we were using catering by Corey said “oh they are best, we love working with them because they are so professional and know exactly how to run the night” and they were RIGHT. Highly highly highly recommend!!

Corey and her team are absolutely incredible & provided the most amazing food for our brunch wedding. Our guests could not get enough of our biscuit bar, the chicken & waffles were the best ever, and I literally did not know you could make a fruit mix taste so good. They also had the sweetest team - it was not more than 10 seconds after our ceremony before they brought us out our own biscuit spread & champagne which was so thoughtful. You should absolutely choose this team for your special event!

Corey and her team are phenomenal! We have been to many weddings where the food is average. We can imagine it’s a difficult thing to do at various venues and for a large number of people. Corey and her team have a system down! The food at our tasting was so amazing and it was just as great on the day of our wedding. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had food from cocktail hour and for dinner. During dinner they checked on us at our sweetheart table several times to see if we needed anything. They were very accommodating to our guests with dietary restrictions. Affordable, delicious, professional, and high quality! We would definitely recommend.

We could not have been happier with the food and service we received from Catering by Corey. All of our guests remarked about how delicious the food was. There was a lot of praise for the risotto cakes. People were telling us the appetizers were amazing. Corey was able to accommodate our guests with dietary restrictions. She was a delight to work with and it would be a mistake not to hire her for catering needs.

We used Catering by Corey and Cheers! by Corey at our wedding and it was amazing! I was planning a wedding from out of town and Lindsey and Corey were so receptive and easy to work with. They were able to accomodate family style dinner as well as individual plates for guests with dietary restrictions. I had numerous guests tell me it was teh best wedding food they'd ever had! Several also told me how kind and helpful the servers were. Lindsey created specialty cocktails for us and was able to work in products from our home town in Alaska. It was great! I would highly recommend them for any event.

We cannot recommend Catering by Corey enough! We received SO MANY compliments about the food both during and after the wedding. They even made sure to take special care of us during the wedding so we could eat, drink, and celebrate. We especially want to make sure we mention why we went with them (in addition to the wonderful food): during our tasting, Corey had a wedding later that day and their venue has lost power. She remained extremely calm and still spent time with us during our tasting as if nothing happened. We knew if she could handle that situation, to put it plainly, like a boss, she would be someone we wanted to work with for our wedding as she can handle anything.

I cannot recommend Catering by Corey enough! We planned our wedding out of state and Corey was beyond helpful in answering all of our questions and accommodating a tasting during a very small window of time when we were in town. Corey’s menu options are absolutely incredible and they had no problem cooking for a wedding of 200 guests. All of the staff at Catering by Corey are fantastic and they checked on us throughout the evening to make sure we had everything we needed, in addition to sending us home with some extra plates of food. Our guests are still telling us how delicious the food was and we were especially pleased she had incredible vegan and vegetarian options for some of our guests. Overall, Corey made this process easy and seamless and the food was amazing!

Catering by Corey did an amazing job with all the food for our wedding!!! Everyone was raving about it and a few of our guests told us it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! In particular, the squash casserole was TO DIE FOR. Honestly, it was the talk of all our guests. Corey, I would be thrilled to get the recipe!!! We couldn't be more thrilled with how delicious the food was, the smoothness of the service and friendliness of the staff! Corey was so helpful and responsive during the planning process. So patient even with a number of changes I threw her way throughout the process. She was always calm, sweet, professional and accommodating. I really could not recommend Catering by Corey any more highly!!

Corey and her staff did an amazing job at our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing. After the wedding, we had numerous people say that it was the best wedding food. Numerous people also told us they had seconds or thirds. The pasta action bar and the squash casserole were the best! We absolutely recommend Corey to anyone and everyone looking for a caterer. They were phenomenal!

Corey and her team were an absolute dream to work with! We opted to do stations for our wedding day, with a guest list full of Indian/Italian heritage we opted to do both stations, cocktail hour apps, and some other small items! I honestly thought the food was incredible, and every guest was blown away by the quality/taste as well as the kindness of the staff. I would use them for anything I have catered in the future, they were an integral part of what made our wedding day flawless.

Cory catered my wedding at Longleaf and it was absolutely amazing. We had bacon wrapped figs, scallops, and fried green tomatoes for appetizers. The watermelon salad was perfect for a hot spring day. The surf and turf was the perfect meal on such a memorable day. My guests still tell me how great the food was. You know it’s good if that’s the thing the guests remember most. Cory is great to work with and I highly recommend hiring her!
