The cookies we had were the chocolate one and the snickers one! They were phenomenal! The soft serve is just okay. There was no wait when we went. They have seating but not a ton. Cool vibes. It’s worth the hype. Very delicious.

Goodnight Fatty is a hidden gem in Salem, MA that offers amazing cookies and other treats. The shop is only open on weekends, and the menu changes every week. You never know what kind of cookies you will get, but they are always fresh, warm, and delicious. The shop also has vegan and gluten-free options, as well as milk and soft serve ice cream. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the place is cozy and fun. The shop is located in a historic building that used to be a lecture hall, which adds to the charm of the place1. I loved the hot cider donuts that they make on weekends2, and the chocolate chip cookie with sea salt was divine. I highly recommend Goodnight Fatty to anyone who loves cookies and wants to have a good time.

I drive an hour+ once a month to see Salem, and grab the 3 for $10 box.
I get one of each flavor for that week.
The “chubby” is more of its own style of desert experience rather than a cookie.
Being in Salem for a leisure Sunday and capping it with a box of these is great!

The cookies were moist, soft and good. I guess since the menu changes frequently, your milage may vary. The photo includes the 3 cookies from the week of 8/20/23. Out of this batch, my favorite was the Stroopwaffle. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate, so the other cookies didn't fancy me as much, but they were still good regardless. Definatly recommend stopping here if you're craving something sweet.

Cookies were fantastic. We could smell them as we walked by and knew we had to stop. The workers are hustling, taking orders, making fresh batches of cookies, boxing up orders and doing the ice cream. Cookies were flavorful, fresh and still warm. Would recommend.

Amazing cookies! Especially after visiting the town. Every time I visit, there is a new delicious flavor. Can’t pass up on the cold milk with the warm cookies either!

Sweetest nicest owner and staff members! They were packed on Friday night (understandably so) but the cookies were well worth the wait!! One of the highlights of our trip :)

Quite literally the best damn cookies you will have on the east coast. I go every year during Haunted Happenings and am never disappointed.

Fantastic baked goods with a shifting menu to cookies after 2pm! The baked chubby balls of goodness are filling and delicious. The afternoon cookies are fantastic, the best is the cheesecake cookie. Yes its a bit pricey, but for a treat once in a while its worth it!

Walking in Salem during an October night and came across this spot. Line was out the door but was moving pretty fast. The smell of the fresh baked cookies were mouthwatering. Purchased the Cookie Flight (3cookies) for $10 which were scrumptious!! 🤤

As soon as you step inside this confections Emporium your senses are enthralled with the smells of the desserts of the evening. The smell of cinnamon and chocolate filled the air. We got and tried 2 of the cookies.
🍪🍪 One was a rice krispie cookie and was good. The amazing one was chocolate chip coffee cake and this was simply the best cookie I ever tasted. Well worth the trip. We enjoyed our fresh, warm and hand made treats inside the heated igloo. We will be back!!

Discovered this place walking passed it on our recent trip to Salem. (although i did see it during my search for restaurants prior to) As soon as you walk in, the place smells amazing. The woman at the counter was friendly and super informative about what they offered. My husband and I ordered the dunkaroo cookies and he got the lemon oreo cookies and vanilla soft serve in a cup. I also got iced coffee with their dream cream. We were in instant heaven at first bite. My husband was literally speechless. LOL. The cookies were warm and gooey inside. The break apart was satisfying. I highly recommend the dream cream. Its cinnamon and vanilla creamer and I didn't even need to add sugar because paired with the cookie it's the perfect balance. Please visit this place, you will not regret it.

Their "Savory" is a flavorful, pretzel-esque ball, filled with delicious egg, cheese, and red pepper. I have to stop myself from eating more than one.

Their "Sweet" is a creative take on a Cinnamon Roll, complete icing, and mouth watering!

Each and every time my family has entered through their door, we've always been greeted with a friendly and genuine "Hello!", from a staff member.

They have tables available for sitting outside and often times, lawn games to enjoy as well.

5 stars for excellent customer service. Patient staff that answers questions. Smiling as I peeked at them making cookies. I was just as appreciative of the customer service (while the line was out the door) as I was with the warm gooey yummy concoctions that we ate. We liked the Milky Way the best!

This experience was fantastic. It was my favorite part of my Salem day today. We got the cookie flight so we could try all three and it was heavenly. It rivals my all time favorite cookie bakery at home. It is a MUST try. The only thing I would suggest is adding Oat milk to the menu. 10/10.

First trip to Goodnight fatty was with my children. 2nd, and 3rd was with my friends. Yes, we went 2 nights in a row just like I did with my kids.
Again, amazing warm cookies, incredible flavor combinations.. a must go if ever in Salem.

Go for the cubbies and cinnamon rolls at breakfast.
Seriously amazing.
A spicy, savory and sweet.
Spicy and savory are sort of like bagel pockets stuffed with egg and maybe a meat and seasoning, and the cinnamon roll was perfection!

Great cookies and other things. I had their vegan (lactose free) ice cream; excellent. Fun yard to relax, play games.

- The cookies were amazing, super fresh and had really good flavor.

- The place was clean and organized.

-The staff were all friendly and helpful.

- Prices are not that bad for the area.

- Plenty of seating if the place is not extremely busy.

- overall a good first experience. I'd recommend this location.
