First time here. Small but not crowded spacing. Booths, tables and a bar area. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Quick service. Food was great! Nice crispy (and big) chicken sandwich on brioche style roll and french fries. Veal cutlet on ziti was wonderful and included a fresh crispy salad almost too big for the bowl. Definitely will come back.

OmG, we came for the fried clams from
Nashua and it was so worth the trip! I have never had such amazing fried clams. The bartender was great even though it was busy! Might be my favorite place for Seafood!

Absolute five star rating! We went here on a suggestion from our friends and we were NOT disappointed. The fried seafood was the best and the tartar sauce was fantastic. The boys loved the decor as we were reading all of the college pennants while we waited for our food. The wait staff was fantastic and the wait time was even better. We will definitely be back.

As a local guide based out of Newburyport, people often ask me what the best restaurant in town is. This is not a question: The Park Lunch takes the cake by a county mile. Food, price-per-bite, atmosphere, service - this place has it all in spades. Whenever I have someone visiting from out of town, this is where we go.

Recommended by hotel staff. Great food, large portions, fried shrimp and clams. Service was great and servers made us feel welcome. If you are in Newbury Port this is a great place to eat.

Really great fried clams. Busy local spot with excellent fresh seafood and classic diner options. Staff is efficient. Clams are full bodies with a crisp light batter and come out HOT. I’ve had their specials in past and been very pleased.

Old school sports bar serving the true 'Porters! Friendly foods and really great food! Inside it has a wooden bar and dining area for about 50 folks! You're surrounded by sports memorabilia, mostly Newburyport High and college teams. Service was fast and very friendly. Very clean place throughout.
I came because I'd heard that have excellent fried clams. Verdict: AWESOME! Huge portion of super sweet clans, fried just to crispy.
(Now right at the moment clams are in short supply and great demand, so prices are through the roof! This serving was $36.95).
Note: Please see the picture of the clam plate after I finished the clams. Sir places cover a giant mound of fries with a few clams. This was almost all clams! (Disclaimer...my wife ate about 5 fries before I took the pic!)
My wife got a meatball sub, which was good and a nice sauce as well. A couple beers and it was an awesome lunch at a reasonable cost, if not for the current markup on clams.
I would highly recommend a stop here when in Newburyport to avoid the touristy places on the main roads.

This place is really intriguing. It's a half step above a dive bar that serves incredible dishes. They have pictures on the wall of the local high school basketball team from the 1960s until present day. This establishment is what the large chains try to be as a hometown bar.
If I didn't see the reviews, I never would have trusted seafood from a place like this. However, I'm glad I read the reviews! The fried clams are fantastic as everyone else is saying, but why aren't the fried scallops getting any love? They are incredible! Sweet tasting and fresh and fried to perfection. Somehow, they are cheaper than clams. Fried chicken finger dinner was also fantastic. Broiled haddock was above average.

First time going here, and I thought it was good. The menu is varied and not crazy expensive. If you’re looking for fancy, this is not that place. They are a small neighborhood place. Based on the vibe of the place, I’d say about 90% regulars. But, welcoming to non regulars. I got the Italian Sausage with Ziti, could have made the sauce a little bit thinner, but that is probably personal preference. My only real complaint is the name… Park Lunch. We almost didn’t go there figuring that they were only open for lunch… hence the name. But, that is a MINOR complaint.

Went a few decades ago and still is one of the best places to eat at in the area. Place was packed and was requested to wait for a short while. They flipped the seating, really quick. I forgot mother's day, every one in the world took mom to eat lunch. Service and meal was very good, as I remembered years ago. Still some of the best food around.

Mr. P. Says, gooood joooob.

I was referred to the park lunch by a guy I met at a gas station. I asked for the best place to eat, first think he asked back was "do you want to go where the locals eat or the tourist". Well naturally I said the locals. I was not disappointed. Best clams I've ever had. Great portions, awesome service, wonderful atmosphere.
