Brew Box on Essex

For a beverage I ordered their homemade Brown Butter Sage and Pumpkin Latte. Iced with Oat milk (Whole milk would also be a great choice). It was absolutely delicious, they even let me taste a small sample of the syrup beforehand.

For food I got a breakfast burrito 🌯. Garlic seasoned ketchup, potatoes, sausage , and eggs. It was a little more expensive at $9 at the time of this review. However if you want a tasty energy fueling breakfast, you can't go wrong here!

I ordered a cappuccino that was beautifully crafted. We met a local that who was so kind he gave me his cinnamon roll because he insisted they are absolutely the best and I couldn’t agree more.

If you are looking for a great menu and cup of coffee with a warm welcome, stop by this place.

The menu is small, but that isn't bad because what's on it is executed well. I don't have to ask if everything is house-made because you can tell it is. We got egg/cheddar biscuit sandwiches. The biscuit was fluffy, so was the egg. I don't know how they prepped/seasoned their egg, certainly unique and very tasty.

We also got these really neat house-made pop tarts. We visited in the middle of October so they had seasonal decorations on them.

Black coffee was great.

The establishment is small and made for take away, but there's a perfect courtyard across the street and adjacent to Brew Box. There's large rocks for prime seating. It completed the experience.

Service was also timely. Not too long of a wait.

I wandered in at 7am on a whim while the rest of the block was still waking up. Staff was busy prepping for the day but made me a delicious Americano to warm me up while I finished exploring Salem. Cool place, cool vibes, cooler people. Great coffee!

Coffee was great, staff were friendly and ambience was good.

We were craving for coffee at 4pm and guess what place is open till 5pm.

If you want to try some local flavors and support local business. This is must visit place in Salem.

Stopped in on my way out of town. The orange pistachio latte was so unique! The avocado toast and banana chocolate chip scone were DELICIOUS. Next time I’m in Salem I will be making a stop here!

The barista was so sweet and answered all of our questions. She shared places to visit while being in town. And the latte was beautiful and tasted amazing. Creamy and foamy.

Biscuit sandwiches never disappoint and their unique lattes are always so fun! Best stop and go coffee spot! A gem. My personal favorite since they opened a few years back.

Brew box coffee was an eclectic space that provided some break up of the usual and expected in salem. I absolutely adored their decor. The cereal milk latte was delicious but I would recommend asking for some sweetener if you like your drinks sweet. The staff here were very patient and super friendly. I enjoyed chatting with them while I waited on my drink. I was also very impressed with their COVID standards in place as it made me feel safer from the crowds. I would go here again in a heartbeat.

One of the best coffee shops in Salem! They have very unusual for this town interior, what makes them specific.

Painted walls took my attention when I almost passed this place, but when I see that I couldn’t just pass it.

They almost don’t have tables to eat, just a bar stand along the wall. It you get a sandwich with coffee it is enough. But if you plan to read a newspaper enjoying a cup of espresso, so this place isn’t your choice.

They have a big variety of hot and cold drinks, as well as sandwiches, salads and deserts.

I’ve got an Avacado toast, a cappuccino and a scone. Everything were delicious. Avacado today was with Avacado paste, a ring of tomato, spices and oils. It is very delicious, I will make the same at home definitely.

Cappuccino was great too. Very good sort of coffee and very professional barista!

Unfortunately, I didn’t find a restroom. Maybe they have it somewhere behind the kitchen, but I didn’t ask.

If you are on the car, there are a lot of meters outside.

And, also, they selling their branded T-shirt’s. It is very nice.

I definitely will visit this place again when I am in Salem.

I went into Brew Box this afternoon and told them I have a dairy allergy. The staff working were so kind and careful with making my latte. I would recommend this place to anyone with allergies and am so thankful to the baristas!

Such a adorable coffee shop located in the heart of Salems shopping street. Super wonderful staff. Great coffee. I love that they have fun flavors and unique drinks here.

Fresh ground Gourmet coffee beans in many flavors & aromas. Hand-crafted panini sandwiches & delicious, firm egg squares!

They sure take pride in all that they serve. Considering it's October (Halloween season in Salem), the service was still spot-on, friendly & quick...amazing!

This place has great coffee! I also got an egg and cheese biscuit. Being from the south, I wouldn't call it a true 'biscuit' BUT it was such an interesting (and tasty) version that I quite enjoyed. The all female staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. The mural as you walk in is super cute and aesthetically top notch. 🌟

I LOVE this place and I'm so sad that I can't come here every day. They have the most interesting and delicious food and their coffee is always fantastic. I don't like iced coffee, but I LOVE their iced coffee. All the staff are also really nice. You can but bags of coffee and they will grind it for you, too!

Delicious menu options and extremely friendly staff. The honey-orange flavoring for lattes is divine, and there are several great options for a quick breakfast or lunch "pick me up". We visited here several times during our visit and were not disappointed once. I would personally recommend the Honey-Orange Latte and Breakfast Burrito (which is absolutely delicious) to anyone.

Great coffee, great food (got the breakfast burrito), and super friendly staff. I had low expectations for a small tourist town but I was very pleasantly surprised.
