Unique spot that doesn’t feel very touristy even though it’s in the heart of all the hustle and bustle. Food menu is accommodating to multiple dietary needs like vegan and vegetarian. The drink menu is surprisingly large. Had a great espresso martini, aperol spritz, different sandwiches and great coffee. Went back almost everyday I was in Salem.

Amazing muffins, amazing lattes and sandwiches. Came with a large party and was accommodated quickly. Everyone was so happy with the food. Service was top notch. Server AMY is fantastic!

Gulu Gulu espresso martinis are top notch. Their gluten free BEC was also great, the GF bread actually held up really well while eating it.
Our server was so friendly and willing to answer all of my questions regarding food and drinks. The atmosphere was just my vibe, dark walls with natural sunlight and 90s grunge on the radio.
Would just recommend trying to get there as early as possible or you’ll likely have a long wait for a table.

Went in for a later dinner and the food was excellent! Bartender was super friendly, there was someone playing piano, over all a cool vibe. We really enjoyed stopping here!

Glu Glu Cafe all that I can say is kiss the chef! The waffles, eggs and the bacon was out of this world. I don’t even eat pork bacon but the bacon was nice and crispy and the waffles were fluffy, and the syrup was sweet but not too sweet. My waitress was very friendly and attentive. The last time I visited Salem I was not able to try this cafe because it extremely crowded. During this time in Salem it’s not peak season, I recommend trying!

The mac and cheese was good and so was the blackberry mimosa. The service was fantastic and everyone seemed to be having fun. The decor was entertaining. I would go again!

What an amazing place in Salem! The wait staff was stellar, the food was delicious, and the interior was cozy. I had a mushroom salad while my friend had a sandwich. Both rocked. Come here if you want a lunch that will bring you joy.

Visiting Salem, Massachusetts and found this place listed in a "must try" video. We were not disappointed! The atmosphere was great, servers super friendly, and the food phenomenal! I had the Hermelin (marinated brie with sourdough) and the cranasaraus Rex salad, so so good, highly recommend trying that brie, wow! My daughter had the chicken sandwich, she said it was the best chicken sandwich she's ever had!

Food was out of this world !! Atmosphere was next level l, truly amazing. A large group of us were traveling from Philadelphia and stopped in, staff was so accommodating!! Lavender latte was the best thing I’ve ever tasted, I wish I could replace my blood with it !!! Amy was literally the sweetest server ever, she is the true star of this show! Would recommend to anyone in town ❤

Had to wait 20 minutes for a table on a Monday afternoon, which was fine! As many people noted, the service is quite slow — our server rarely came by and it took a while for anyone to take our order let alone bring us the water we asked for. That said, the vibe was cozy and delightful and it’s located right by the main part of Salem. We enjoyed our crepes and breakfast sandwiches and coffees — I appreciated the extensive coffee menu! The honey latte was great and the goat cheese, pesto, and chicken crepe was well-stuffed. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush or expect super attentive service, but come here if you’re OK taking it easy and taking your time. It’s also right behind the bewitched statue! For parking, you’ll have to find a lot a few blocks away and pay. None nearby.

I spent a day working from this cafe and while the music was a bit too loud for comfort, the atmosphere was excellent for a quick bite to eat or a more casual linger. The waitstaff were very friendly and the food was a perfect balance of healthy and yummy.

Very cute cafe with good food & great service. I ordered the millennial chicken sandwich & a pumpkin latte- both of which were delicious. Our server was incredibly kind & attentive. Thankfully, we went during the off-season on a weekday so it wasn’t too crowded!

An amazing experience all around. The food was quickly prepared and delicious. Prices are fair for the menu. The atmosphere is leaning into the 'local hipster spot' and I'm here for it.

Went for the first time the other day to bingo night and it was honestly a pretty decent time. The only real negative was the overly drawn out and corny jokes by the guy who was MCing the event. Don't get me wrong I love a good corny joke but not one that drags on for 5 minutes and stopped being funny 4 and a half minutes in. But the servers were all great and the food was a hit with my entire table.

What a cute little quirky cafe! Lots of vegan and gluten free options. Great selection of special lattes. I had the white razz latte which was delicious. Also had the banana brown sugar crepe which was heavenly. Servers are friendly and ambience is great. I would definitely recommend and will be back here for sure the next time I visit Salem!

Cute little breakfast spot! Had the Exec cocktail and the bagel with Lox. Both were super yummy!

This place MADE our trip to Salem. We first walked in from the airport with all our luggage with so much time until we could check in to our Air Bnb. The waitress was so sweet and checked in occasionally as we sat for hours. They didn't make any fuss and we felt welcome the entire time. The bagels were so soft and fluffy, and I've never chugged a latté before Gulu Gulu. A warm, and inviting place. It had such cool art, and we got anything we ordered so fast. No other coffee shop topped them, and we went back time and time again during our trip for breakfast and lunch. Definitely a must - see stop for a cozy place that feels like home.

My daughters and I came here from Chicago and had the most wonderful time here 2 nights in a row! It was quaint, cozy, and great live music. The cappuccinos were excellent and the tiramisu is to die for. Staff was friendly and good vibes all around. I wish there was an establishment like this in our city.

Really great little place. Food and drink good, lots of beer and coffee to try. We popped in a few times when we were in Salem a few years ago. One of the evenings they had a life drawing 'drink and draw' event and that was a lot of fun!

This is one of those great little local spots that has something for everyone, and they do it all well. Stopped in for a quick lunch while sightseeing. The Shroom Sandy (on Rye, for me) and fruit cup were deliciously fresh. Comfy and relaxed atmosphere with a variety of local art to peruse. Will definitely be back!
