The Net Result

Travellers, the net result is a seafood take-out restaurant with a fish store inside. Or the fish store also serves take out food. Which ever is the case give this a try. The flounder sandwich is wonderful. The fish is fresh and perfectly fried lightly and then stuffed into the bun. All the fried foods are fresh and delicious. The seafood is amazing too. The real stars are the ready to go soups and items that are made in house and stock the shelves. The lobster bisque is fantastic. A sandwich, lobster bisque, and the gorgeous sunsets is all anyone really needs. Check it out. We recommend.

HUGE fan of The Net Result. Seafood is very fair for what you order. I had the fried whole clams and my partner had a salmon burger. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. This is the kind of place I would expect and would want to go back to every time I am in the area. Service is great and super helpful. There aren't any tables inside but the bench area is plentiful.

Loved how the employees were patient with our initial indecision about what to order and how one employee in particular was super friendly to the kids. They must have cornered him and started asking him questions and the next thing I knew he was fishing out different lobsters and explaining things to we inlanders. He answered the many questions peppered at him, and when he didn't know the answer, he didn't make it up or dismiss them, he was creative but not sarcastic or he asked them what they thought. This encounter is one of the kids' best memories shared when they are asked about our trip to M.V. People make places special, and this guy was a rock star in human interaction and kindness, especially of locals with curious young tourists. Wish I caught his name.

Overpriced mostly fresh great seafood to buy and cook home or get something from the limited menu and eat it outside or to go. I got a lobster roll. For the Vineyard, I like their's the best.

The entire week on Island and all I needed that I really didn’t know I need was The net Result.

Honestly….if I just went here everyday I would have been a happy camper.

After doing endless research on where to get the best lobster roll, The Net Result was never the top of the list, but it made the cut.

Why did it make the cut? Because they have everything you ever need…..Sushi, rolls, wraps, fries, fresh seafood. Salads. Seaweed salads, kimchi, you name it this PLACE HAS IT.

And they are damn good.

We got two lobster rolls, one butter one Mayo. Also got seaweed salad, spicy salmon sushi and a chipotle shrimp wrap.

All were mouth watering and I wish I didn’t go on the last day cause I’d do it again and again.

The chipotle shrimp wrap was honestly better then the lobster roll….sorry not sorry.

Extremely fresh seafood with outdoor seating. Their fried sides are fried (duh), but not battered, which is just a little bit healthier and doesn't hide the flavors in my opinion. The scallops were some of the best I've had, and prepared just perfectly. They also sell smoked fish plus have a full seafood shop but can't say anything about it. Highly recommended for a quick stop or take out.

This place has the best lobster bisque on the island in my opinion!

Great Tavern food. Nice view of Oak Bluffs Harbor. Great bartending staff, strong drinks. Whole belly clams! Get there EARLY! It's no secret in OB! Nice spot to people watch

Soft shell crab sandwich is amazing and the lobster is pretty meaty. Oyster is fresh and delicious.

Fantastic spot for both raw and prepared seafood. Lobster bisque is great. Crab legs are excellent. Great tuna, sashimi, etc. Can't go wrong here. Try the fish and chips.

Their prices are really reasonable for how fresh that fish is!!!!! Their wraps are good and the mussels are delicious. And the staff is very friendly and the wait time wasn't long for our food.

They nail it every time at The Net Result. We do lunch - lobster rolls, fish sandwich, salmon rolls, oriental noodle salad, we do dinners - wild caught salmon, fully cooked and cracked lobsters. So good.

ALWAYS one of my first stops in MV for a warm lobster roll! They have some of the best fresh seafood as well!

Best lobster roll on the island! We visited multiple places for lobster rolls - and this one was the best. Called ahead for pickup and it was ready to go. Perfect amount of mayo and fixings, and the lobster was very chunky and great flavor. This will be my first stop next time visiting.

I highly do recommend for the food here. The Lobster roll was so delicious and a lots of meat. The rolls was so thin and the Clam chowder is delicious too.

This is the sunset across the bay from the Net Result. Sure they sell the freshest seafood on the island. And if marine culinary is not your thing then go vegan at Not Your Sugar Mama’s for gluten free bread, cashew parmesan, chocolate ganache tarts, soup and more. Either way stop to gaze at the golden dusk.

Lots of options, and fast. Order inside and then wait outside for your food. There's also live lobster they can pick out. And then outside of picnic tables in case you want to just eat. Plenty of parking too.

A delightfull place to dine. We had just sailed into a mooring earlier and decided to go ashore for some lunch. We found The Net Result conveniently located with walking distance from the town landing. Sporting a wide variety of mostly seafood selections our group ordered the scallop platter, the fish & chips as well as the lobster roll. I also bought a pie to take with us for dessert later on. Our order arrived promptly and and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful. The generous portions made for very satisfied sailors. And the pie was superb!

Today 06.26.22 was our first visit to Martha’s Vineyard and we ate the most delicious seafood for lunch recommended by a local. The fish sandwich, fried shrimp and french fries were all cooked to order and so good. A cold beer would’ve been perfect but they don’t serve alcohol. Still very worthy of 5 ⭐!
