Mansion House Inn on Martha's Vineyard

A great experience for sure. Stayed on the fourth floor and had wonderful harbour views. Rooms were nicely sized and super clean and comfortable. Front desk staff are courteous and professional, and very willing to help. Breakfast in the lounge was a very appealing continental with fresh coffee or tea, pastries and hot and cold cereal options, as well as Greek yogurt and fruit juices. The cupola deck was an added bonus with exquisite views. Didn't have time for the pool, spa or fitness centre, but all looked very welcoming and very busy.

Overall, I would stay again in a heartbeat.

The Mansion House is a great stay! It’s in the middle of town so easy walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel is nice, the walls are painted like a beach house. Your hotel stay comes with access to the full gym and workout classes and indoor pool. I wish we had stayed long enough to try the classes and the gym. Will stay here again if I am ever back on the island!

We had an amazing stay at the Mansion House Inn in August 2023 for the Beach Road Weekend festival. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff was very kind and helpful. Everything in Vineyard Haven was very walkable, and the bus stop to other parts of the island was very close. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Had an amazing stay at the Mansion House. Room was well appointed and super clean. The staff was outstanding and helpful with recommendations on places to eat. Looking forward to my next visit. Great location with plenty of eating, shopping and attractions.

I’ve stayed here twice and both times it was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great views and location. Very walkable to a lot of shops, ferry, restaurants, etc.

I use the gym here. Staff is amazing and the health club has a great variety of equipment. Classes included in your membership and access to the pool, hot tub, and sauna are great! Highly recommend.

Stayed 2 nights Memorial Day Weekend. Great choice on Main Street with lots of shopping 🛍 right outside your front door. Cupola Deck is great for a wonderful view and just relaxing. It was booked full for holiday weekend but still seemed very uncrowded. Coffee available in breakfast area all day but doesn’t open until 6:30 or 7am. Copper Wok restaurant on site and it was great. Good food and met a few locals. We were very pleased with staying here. Oak Bluffs was super crowded but it was very peaceful here.

First time staying at the mansion house and it was so great! Rooms are decorated so cute and cozy, not to mention clean! Staff is excellent, full gym is a plus! Parking right next to the hotel. Walk to many restaurants and shops in Vineyard Haven right from the door. Hotel is close to the ferry so if you don’t bring a car, not an issue. The manager, Carlos, is excellent and overly accommodating. I can’t wait to come back soon :)

Love this place! The rooms are very unique and spacious. Very clean and great service. Great location. Even in the summer months not as jammed packed as other are on the island.

I really enjoyed my stay during Memorial Weekend. The service was great! Just wanted to give a special “thank you” to Lisa. She went out of her way during our time here and was very welcoming. Thank you Lisa!!!

The room is very clean and big. The indoor pool is as big as most brand hotels indoor pool. I wasn’t expecting it be as big as it is, it was a pleasure surprise.

Mansion House Inn it's nicely situated on Main Street, convenient to just about every shop and restaurant in Vineyard Haven, and an easy 5-minute stroll from the ferry. The rooms are nicely appointed, and some have excellent views of the water. The desk staff are terrific; if you're not familiar with MV, they will fill you in on all of the details that you're interested in. (Their restaurant picks are spot on, as well.) There's also a pool, a fitness center, and a spa. Don't go for the breakfast -- there are several excellent breakfast locations within a single block of the Mansion House.

Overall, this is an excellent choice for any stay in Vineyard Haven. Enjoy....

We had a nice stay. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The Breakfast was pastries(9 varieties), cereal, Oatmeal, juice and coffee...(they might've had hard boiled eggs in the fridge). Staff was all very friendly and helpful. It is in the heart of Vineyard Haven. Great place to stay if you don't bring your car.

Lisa, the desk attendant, helped me after check in time, and a 2nd time, got me into my room when I locked myself out. She was extremely empathetic and supportive. She's a wonderful front for the Mansion House Inn. Thank you for the pleasant experience, she deserves a raise!!!!!!!!!

We had a lovely getaway at the Mansion House Inn. The exuberant welcome from the reception staff set the tone for a lovely long weekend visit. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist in any manner needed. Our room was comfy and extremely clean. Coffee in the morning, along with some breakfast goodies was an added surprise. We look forward to making an annual, if not more trip to the Mansion House Inn.

We decided to stay here for the spa and knowing that we could get to Edgartown and Oak Bluffs easily from Vineyard Haven. Check in was very easy and the staff were knowledgeable of the area. Our room was huge and very clean. Hard wood floors and very comfortable beds.The bathroom was perfect and had perhaps the best shower head on a hotel shower that I can remember. If the weather was warmer, we would have taken advantage of the rooftop area with its great view of the harbor and town. We had an issue where we broke a make-up mirror in the bathroom and the staff cleaned everything up as if we were checking in for the first time. Excellent service.

We stayed during the middle of September and it is tough to review some things due to the Covid crisis. The hotel is in a location close to everything, but many places were closed, especially in Vineyard Haven. But we got by and ate a lot in Oak Bluffs where more places seemed to be open. Edgartown, not so much.

About the only critique I had was that we were in a room off to the side of the lobby. There was a door there to a hallway that is supposed to remain closed so the guests won't hear what's going on in the lobby, but it was always kept open despite being right across from the front desk. My wife and I had to keep closing it so we could get some quiet time, but all in all, the place was excellent.

Would stay again.

Wonderful week which included the Mansion House. Lost a pearl earring in the room. Needle in a hat stack. Paige the housekeeper found it. Thank you. Cupala wonderful. Fixed hot I guess will come. Can be used without bubbling.

Amazing! We had a great stay here. Great staff, clean, quiet rooms, the group fitness classes are an added bonus. The sushi place next door is incredible. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. We loved sunsets on the cupola as well!
