Quick seating service and the food also came out really quickly. They weren’t super busy so that may be why.
The bar area was very nice and separated from the dining room, they also had a second dining room off to the side.
Decently priced, they didn’t charge us for a drink but the first one we asked for they didn’t have. Would go again

Just visited Family Chineses Restaurant in Salisbury, MA. We sat at the bar and had the most awesome experience. Everyone is so welcoming, the staff, the bartenders and the patrons who visit. We ordered the traditional Mai Tai a must have drink! We also ordered the mouth watering Chicken and Shrimp fried rice with Sizzling Happiness which is a hot scallops and beef delicious plate. I can’t wait to visit Family Chineses Restaurant again!!

I genuinely can't find anything to complain about! When you dine in they even box up your food for you. Great service, relaxing atmosphere, top notch food. We'll definitely be back to New Year's takeout!

The food to price is excellent. I have tried many different plates there and everything has been delicious. If you're looking for one of the best places for Chinese food you just found it.

Hands down - This is the best venue for Chinese food and drinks in the area. Drive by any night of the week and check out the parking lot.. it's that good! The venue isn't fancy. It's very clean and the service whether you choose the bar area or restaurant side always excellent.
If you are a mai tai fan you won't find a better one elsewhere. Everything is fresh and moderately priced... you can't go wrong! 🥡

The food at Family’s has always been delicious! The newly remodeled bar has totally enhanced this local Chinese favorite! The new bar has a 35 seat bar, 6 high tops & 11 TVs. TouchTunes available & friendly patrons make this a great spot for a delicious Mai Tais, beef teriyaki, crab Rangoons, Peking ravioli, veg fried rice, chicken lo mein (to name a few) along with many other choices (extensive menu with vegetarian options available). Large dining room & function room available as well. No pictures of the food, as we ate it right away! Everything was freshly made & delicious. 😀👍🏼 adding to my review some pics. #Favorite

Best Chinese food in the area! The service here is quick and the food is fresh and delicious! Lunch specials are available from 11:30am-3pm. They have a spacious bar that is separate from the main dining area, with KENO available to play, as well as in lobby entrance.

This place is definitely the best Chinese around. We drive a good distance just to get takeout from here because nowhere close to us is good. We finally dined in one night, and that was also a good experience. My only complaint is that I don't love their sweet and sour sauce for the sweet and sour chicken. I like the cherry syrupy one, and theirs has bell peppers and is more runny. It isn't as sweet. Everything else they make can't compare.

The name Family restaurant is a little misleading from an American's point of view. They may have simple food (family restaurant trait) but the food is exotic and high quality.

The best Chinese food in the area. I’ve lived up this way for 5 years and i can’t believe I’ve never tried it before today. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our food came out super fast and the prices were reasonable and comparable to other sit-down Chinese restaurants. I’m already craving more and can’t wait to go back!

The best Chinese makes Kowloon taste like garbage, fresh, not greasy large portions

First off I should mention that i am a very tough person to please when it comes to food reviews. I should also mention that Chinese food is probably my favorite type of food and as a result i have been to dozens of Chinese food restaurants. The crab rangoon, chicken on a stick, beef teriyaki on a stick, and chicken fingers are all the very best that i have ever eaten. I am very impressed by this place. The pork fried rice i would rate as the 3rd best i have ever eaten in my life. I did like the egg roll very much but i prefer a differentv style personally. Please keep in mind that i am a real tough critic and am comparing this food to every other Chinese food place that i have eaten at in 35 years. This food was made with skill and love. Anyone who works here should be proud to be a part of such an impressive restaurant. I can't wait to come back again.

Quick, hot, delicious, and reasonably priced. We’ve done eat-in and take-out. Great Chinese dishes. Not just same flavor and high sodium/MSG tastes. Shrimp, beef, and pork all have distinct flavor profile: fresh and not overwhelming.

Great foòd. They have their takeout service down to a science. Super fast and accurate. Amazing to see when they are busy. 4 or 5 people working front counter to help expedite takeout process. Awesome to see and appreciated!

Amazing! Staff, vibe, food all of it amazing. However, for the love of all things good, kind, and necessary, they need a 2nd start-up establishment somewhere down along RT 1 South. There isn't a respectful worthy Chinese restaurant within The Peabody, Danvers, Lynnfield, or Revere area. Not a single place exists not even Kowloon as they're just big, pricy and pretentious. Family Chinese Restaurant of Salisbury serves the best Chinese food in Essex County they just need more locations! Thanks
