Dr "Sam" was wonderful. I have a 3 year old mini goat that needed some urgent and non-urgent care in January 2024. She and her team were amazing. Gentle, professional, explained every step in perfect detail. Allowed us to ask questions as she went along and the cost was very reasonable. It was well worth our 6 hour round trip drive from Cape Cod. The practice came recommend to us. We were thrilled. We will be bringing our Henry back soon for some continued treatments. They make local house calls for Large Animal care for local patients FYI. The stall Henry received his surgery and additional care was clean and easy to get him inside for the care.

I brought my cat in for the first time yesterday and was very happy with the whole visit. From the front desk to the vet assistant and the vet especially, Dr. Angela, everyone was so kind and welcoming. I appreciated the compassionate care. Kate C.

Great staff. Dr. Mary took time to explain what her thoughts were about my dog and how to best treat him. I was able to get a same day appointment. The cost for a sick same day appointment was more than reasonable. Highly recommend Amesbury Animal Hospital.

Having to bring our loved pets to the vet can be so stressful yet the staff and doctors make it such a great experience. Shout out to Erin for her warm smile that greeted me and my Millie, and to my tech Lauren and Dr. Smith for making us feel comforted during our visit. Love AAH!!

We have had a very positive experience with Amesbury Animal Hospital. We have lived in many cities and seen our fair share of veterinarians. It’s nice to find a place that is honest, down to earth and doesn’t seem to be fleecing us with unnecessary expenses. We have had two emergencies that they have seen us through. They are always available. I would highly recommend them.

I just wanted to thank you, Amesbury Animal hospital, for the donation of a tree from the Arbour day foundation in memorial of my sweet cat, Chewbacca. Here are a few pictures. AAH has an amazing staff! They are all so helpful and friendly! We needed our pups bandages changed daily for a wound and they made time in the schedule for us. The vet sat down and shared pictures of the wound when asked and discussed the situation clearly. My pup enjoys going to the vet!

Been going to AAH since 2004 and I won’t change to any other vet. Dr. Bastien is the absolute best and has been my vet consistently for this amount of time. They always show compassion and expertise when you bring your pet in.

The two doctors (Dr Stefanie and Dr Smith) my 16 year old Italian greyhound saw this week were fabulous as usual. My senior has very complex issues and AAH always manages to find time to see her in a timely manner. Dr Smith has once again, with his thorough diagnosis and gentle manner with my girl, resolved her pain issues and allowed her to enjoy life. The staff at AAH are incredible-excellent follow-up and professional, caring individuals. Although we have moved out of state, it’s well worth the drive to AAH. My family has gone to Amesbury Animal Hospital for many years. They are absolutely fantastic. They are very caring, compassionate, and will help you through every step of your pets care. I can’t say enough good. I will go to AAH as long as I have pets.

We had a great interaction today taking our cat for a check up post entry from another country. Dr. was great to speak with and calming to our dear friend as she checked her out and made a few suggestions about transitioning from one country to the US. All staff was helpful and kind. Always a plus +

The clinic personnel, everyone, does their best to make your visit as stress free for you and your pets as possible. This includes large animal as well. Everything mentioned here in the past is also relevant for my most recent visit.

My last visit was for one of my barn cats. The staff did a great job handling a basically wild cat. She got vaccinated just as I had hoped.

The staff and DR's at Amesbury Animal Hospital were very thorough, helpful and compassionate. We ended up having to put our young cat down and they were very supportive of myself, my kids and our poor little kitty that had to go too soon. I truly thank them for care and kindness.

Dr. Smith is such a compassionate human being. He is knowledgeable and takes the time to explain and show you any issues that may be of concern. He is patient and answers your questions. I have been bringing my dogs to the Amesbury Animal Hospital for the past 18+ years. They have been wonderful.

I drive an hour from Cambridge to get AMAH affordable experienced care. I disagree with Kaley F's review because my dog will be 3 this November and was given a full workup at every yearly exam. As a responsible pet owner I always bring a Fecal sample for my dog or my cat every time I go for sickness, or yearly exams. I always purchase the yearly pack of heart guard that's how I roll as a responsible pet owner. I love the convenience of their online pharmacy as well. I recommend them to every pet owner I meet and tell them just go between 10-1 and beat the rush hour traffic and it's only 45 min and well worth it financially and quality of care it outstanding.

They are the most compassion and friendly people. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else
