While I didn't stay the night, we did the tour with the extended basement addition. We had such a great time! The emf readers even went off in a couple of rooms. I personally love this kind of stuff. Our guide couldn't have been better. He was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He plays the part perfectly. I will definitely be returning and hopefully will get to spend the night! 10/10 highly recommend!!

Had an awesome time at the Lizzy Borden house, for a 1 night stay. Got there a little before check in time. Had the whole house to ourselves. Felt a little strange but it was very cool ! Bridgett Sullivan room was really peaceful. Bed was extremely comfy!! Didn’t get the breakfast, but it smelled delicious. A really nice girl offered me coffee. Was sweet of her. I would highly recommend this place for a stay.

I've wanted to visit here for years and I finally made the trip! My tour guide was awesome and very patient despite the fact that the other people on the tour kept talking over him. I was a few minutes late and he even stayed back after the tour to show me what I missed. I stayed in the Hosea Knowlton room. The ghost tour that happened that night was so cool. Izzy was fantastic at answering all our questions and showing us how to use the equipment. Everyone got so much activity in the house it was crazy. I actually slept through the night. If the ghost children were playing in the room they didn't wake me up. I'll definitely be back and stay in another room to see if I get more activity in other rooms.

I had always been curious about the Lizzie Borden story, so I decided to take a trip to the house to go on a tour. I was lucky enough to get a tour all by myself with Emily! She was amazing!! Her spell binding narration, immersion in the role, and attention to detail made it a great experience! She was also kind enough to answer all my questions!! Thank you so much Emily! The house has been kept in beautiful condition! And I will definitely be back to stay overnight! This place is definitely not to be missed!!

Absolutely amazing my daughter is 11 and autistic, but is absolutely fascinated with the different and what some people might find strange. She recently read several books on the trial and was so excited to be able to go on the tour, the tour guide along with the folks that we were with were incredibly Informative and just made the entire day and experience that we will both treasure forever…… She is already planning her sweet 16 birthday to be an overnight!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

House has a lot of history. It is very interesting. The rooms are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. We felt completely comfortable staying here. About 5:30 am we woke and both had tears coming from our eyes, but still very peaceful. We came for the history and we’re not seeking any type of other worldly experience so this was very unexpected. Would recommend to anyone that is interested in history.

Had an awesome tour of the house on 2/11/2024. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the house and was very friendly, as well as professional. We even had a few paranormal experiences, doors opening on there own and lights not working, and or dimming, going out and coming back on. We will definitely be back to stay in the house at some point.

I cannot state enough how excited we were to stay at the Lizzie Borden house and on both occasions, we had an absolutely wonderful stay.
We are Paranormal Investigators and luckily we were able to investigate on both occasions.
The house did not disappoint us, and we had pretty amazing activity on both nights. It's a stunning house and you truly forget for a moment or two, the horrible crime that occurred there.
When you walk through the door, you could almost believe you have stepped back in time to 1892. The decor and artifacts set a hauntingly beautiful backdrop to a perfect stay in probably the country's most infamous bed and breakfast. The Staff who served us breakfast were delightful and the food was very good., but the chance to eat breakfast in the dining room where the Bordens had their last family meal and where the first autopsies were performed will probably be the reason we always choose to have breakfast when we visit in the future!

We did the house tour and it was a great experience! Our tour guide Zee was very down to earth, had good knowledge on the house history and had great stories of things that go bump in the night! I might…just might build up courage to return for an overnight stay with friends in the future 😄 👻

The tour was absolutely fantastic! We were fortunate to have the amazing Elliot as our guide, who was extremely knowledgeable and very nice! For the price ($30 per ticket), the value is amazing as the tour is an hour, and you are able to see all three floors. We opted for the basement tour as well (an additional $17). From the basement, you can still see remnants of the blood spatter from murder in 1892. The gift shop is also great!

Important notes: check in at the gift shop for the tour. You can see the famous ouiji board in the gift shop. We did not stay overnight, but the rooms are great, as one can see them all as part of the tour.

We enjoyed a private tour of the house/museum. Everything has been restored authentically. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was fascinating to learn about the case and be where it all happened! Warning that you'll be shown some graphic autopsy photos so speak up if you'd rather not. Highly recommend for history buffs or true crime fans. We did not stay overnight, just did the tour and gift shop.

Great experience, tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable and seemed to have a genuine interest in the Lizzy Borden lore. We learned a lot we didn't know. The only thing I didn't like was that it was pretty pricy, and the basement tour is an upcharge. Would've been more comfortable with the basement included in the $30 tour, but it is what it is. Definitely understand the cost to upkeep an old property. Overall would recommend to any locals who haven't been, and to tourists too. Thanks for a cool experience!

Informative and interesting tour! We did the extended tour. It was worth the extra to see the basement and hear the additional details about the home and town. Elliot was very nice and full of information.

Note that you check in at the gift house 15 minutes before the tour. The house and gift shop were locked when we arrived. We were a little confused where to meet up, at that point. Just wait outside at the gift shop. They will return.

All in all, I recommend this tour!

I brought an out of state friend for a tour, and we had a great time. Our guide was INCREDIBLE, the house itself is beautiful, and the spook factor was all the way up. Overall just a great experience.

It was so fun!!! The best part of the experience was the staff, they were so nice and knowledgeable. It was so cool. I do have to admit the basement was scary but the rest of the house actually had really good vibes. HIGHLY recommend this spot to anyone traveling to southern New England.

We were staying in Newport and drove about 30 minutes for a tour of the Lizzie Borden house. It was a small tour group and the guide (I wish I remembered the name, they had shoulder length curly hair) was incredible - entertaining, informative, and answered all of our questions. We learned a lot and had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

Ryk was a fantastic tour guide! He knew so much information and brought a little humor to an otherwise grim story. We will definitely be back to stay some time. Highly recommend!

As avid Spooky Adventurers, the kids (10 & 16) and I booked a tour of the Lizzie Borden House and what we received for our modest entry fee, was a tour and history lesson of one of Americas most well known cold cases. We learned a few things we hadn't heard before mixed with a measured amount of dry humor from our fantastic tour guide, Ryk.

My sister and mom were in Fall River to shop for a wedding dress so I tagged along to visit The Lizzie Borden House. I had a tour with Emily (Em) and was literally the only person in the group (strange for a beautiful Sunday afternoon in October, but whatever). I wouldn't have blamed Em for an awkward or off performance given her lonely audience of one, but she was an excellent guide. I call it a performance because she clearly has acting chops and put a ton of emotion into the storytelling. Her knowledge of and passion for this tragic tale is evident.

As a history and horror buff, I found this house right up my alley. It's kept in superb condition inside and out with amazing period furniture, clothes, and decorations. The creepy dolls scattered throughout were a nice touch.

While I found the basement section of the tour interesting, my only minor critique is I wish it looked more like it did in the 1890s and less like a storage area. I understand the house is a functioning bed and breakfast but this detracted from the aesthetic. A nit pick from an otherwise fantastic experience, though.

As I live in Massachusetts I don't think this will be the last time I visit the house. Would highly recommend.
