Love this place...hadn't been here in years and happy to say it is still tops.
Bigger menu with more new choices but some of the old favorites.

The Fish Sandwich is always a tasty!
The Swordfish Sandwich got our attention and is a new favorite.
Fyi...their French fries are excellent!

Our server Deirdre made us feel right at home. The brownies she recommended were a sweet treat worth adding to any size appetite.

Excellent local restaurant with fresh food and very friendly staff and fast service. Prices are a bit higher than we normally go to but the food was delicious and worth the cost. The onion rings are outstanding and I really enjoyed the fish tacos and the salad with the squash and beets. The lobster roll was fine but that's more a me thing than a reflection of their quality as I felt the same at other places as well. I don't get the allure of lobster, I don't dislike it but don't crave it either. If you like lobster I'd assume it is pretty good but I'd look to other reviews on that specific item. The fries were outstanding.

I've eaten here several times. The restaurant is pretty much always packed due to the amazing food. Fresh ingredients and flavors! If you cook it they will come, lol. I had the pan seared salmon and a special of cod and corn chowder. 😋, and also served was Shrimp cocktail and a whole clam Roll, delicious 🤤. Parking can be an issue, but they do offer parking just a block away, easy walk. My Salmon was one of the best I have had.

I'll be taking more friends here for sure when we visit. It was recommended to me by my neighbor. Plenty of options, fresh quality seafood, and great service helping my dad make a big order for a road trip back to Ohio. Packed the cooler and everything. This team should be proud of their hard work.

I love this restaurant. Always had a great time every time I went there with my husband and my mom last time.
Every time they post on Instagram pictures of the food I feel like I need to be there asap to try it out again, specially when they have a pasta special.
I only wished they had a reservation system. Now that I have a newborn baby is not easy to get there unless I go during not busy hours. They are always busy tho, why? because like I said, is delicious and fun.

- Food: Calamari is really tasty. Has a soy sauce zing to them. Very crunchy. Really good steamers as well. I think their lobster roll is one of the best in Cape Cod. Very reasonable prices.
- Atmosphere: Plenty of tables inside and also have a popular outside patio.

Amazing service on the deck. The food was just as good with great servings of fresh seafood.

Beer selection was great with a few draft choices and plenty in cans. The Poi Dog cocktail was top notch.

A last minute recommendation from our campground turned out to be a fabulous recommendation. We visited in May 2023. The food and drinks were all excellent. I had my best fish tacos on island here and the brownie sundae almost made me cry it was so good. The view and the establishment itself were unique, casual, and comfortable. We loved it and would go again.

Great little hidden gem on the other side of the bridge. Nice clean atmosphere, nice water views, friendly staff and the seafood tastes fresh and delicious!

My husband got the steak tips... he said they were phenomenal, as were the fried clams I had. Julie, our sever, was outstanding. Highly recommend Lobster Trap.

Vibe was great! Food excellent. Fried platter still highlighted the Cod and belly clams.
Boy's said lobster roll was one of their favorite of the trip.

Our price point per person higher b/c of the lobster roll and beers, but could be family affordable too without skimping on quality.

This was an amazing place.. from the friendly staff, great food.. definitely try one of the chefs special made donuts... The atmosphere... Definitely a must stop on your way to the Cape.

Always a good time and delicious meal at the Lobster Trap! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu and the drinks are great! My favorites are the tuna pad Thai, the steamers, the sword sandwich, fish tacos, seafood stew. But really it’s all good. This place has transformed so much over the last 15 years and only for the better. Smaller parking lot near building and second lot a short walk further down the road. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the area and if you’re not, make it a pitstop, cheers!

Thank you Google for helping me sort through lunch destinations while traveling from Newport, RI to Chatham!!! The Lobster Trap caught my attention with their menu, views, and of course reviews! This Restaurant DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Omg! You MUST GO! We asked to be seated outside and loved our spot. Kristy was our UH-MAZING server. We shared a lobster roll and added an order of cole slaw. When I tell you both were phenomenal, I’m speaking the truth! Their bathrooms were immaculate too. On our way out we stopped by the fresh caught counter just for looks and I am soooo jealous I don’t have this in my area! WOW! You definitely need to try their food!

The clam strips - fresh, tasty, not greasy at all, good size. Dipping sauce was a great accompaniment.

Oysters - fresh and just down right delicious and refreshing

Crab Rangoons - these were another hit! My husband who isn’t a crab Rangoon fan loved them. I enjoyed the homemade “duck sauce” that tasted like apricot jam.

Clam chowder - creamy, thick, stick to your ribs, cup of comfort. Very good!

Single whole lobster dinner - This was amazing! Meat pulled right out, sweet and savory.

Lobster roll - we didn’t love it.

Swordfish sandwich - This was shared by two to try swordfish for the first time and was the favorite of the two handheld entrees.

The pain killer - It was tasty but too thick for my liking.

Lobster roll won our cape cod lobster roll tournament. Onion rings are homemade and seasoned perfectly. Lots of unique dishes here beyond the cape cod seafood classics.

Atmosphere is Old Cape Cod with stunning views of a deep fast moving salt river . Every seat has a view. But that's not the real story... Whether you want classic cape cod cuisines or a modern twist with incredible attention to detail this is the place to be. Always nice to see the owner on the floor saying hello to his valued guests even on a Sunday making sure his high expectations are well received by all. Perfect example of how a business should be run. Put Lobster Trap on your must visit list !

The service was efficient and friendly! The food was great!
I did not try the drinks so I can't say anything about them.
The restaurant also has a sort of fish market at the entrance where you can buy fresh fish to cook at home, which is great.

My son and I stopped in on a Thursday in late June at 7pm. They said it would be 30 minutes but we got in in 12 minutes. We had six oysters and six little neck clams on the half shell and you could still taste the sea they were so fresh. The clam chowder was the best I've ever had and my shrimp skewers were to die for. The staff were all very friendly and service was quick even though it was busy. I think I'll go again to try the seafood stew and lobster rolls. If you are anywhere near Bourne MA make sure you stop by the Lobster Trap and bring your appetite.

We really enjoy the atmosphere out in the deck! The twilight time is beautiful in the summer. Good is great, staple for every carrier trip. Just found out they also do take out!
