I visited during lunch today (02/27/24) for a little work lunch. I did the lunch special of chosing two items from a list for $13.99
I had a bacon 🥓 mac & cheese 🧀 and a half meatball sub in French baguette

I thought the food was delicious especially for the price, I can see myself becoming a regular as I have begun working nearby
The service was wonderful as the server checked in with use periodically and ask if we needed anything such a refilling my water
The atmosphere was very nice, really gave me tavern vibes with a central bar area. If possible I intend to visit this establishment at night to experience bar and tavern vibe

First ever visit here and WE WILL BE BACK
I rarely finish my food when we eat out... tonight I DEVOURED MY SCALLOPS

Astonishing atmosphere!

This was my second time here. The first time was a catered event for work, and it was a great event. Service was quick, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere led to great conversations.

This time, I sat at the bar and watched the US open while chatting with my boss. The bartenders were attentive and helpful. I got a perfectly made lobster, broccoli, and mac and cheese. We had nachos that you have to try if you go for an appetizer. When my food arrived, I was actually already getting full. But then, as I ate it, I couldn't stop. It was so freaking good. I'll definitely be back next time in town. I want to try their lobster roll, sit on the patio, and listen to the live music!

Pretty fast and friendly service all around. Atmosphere is intimate even in the afternoon which is very nice, love a cozy and warm setting. Not a place to come for pasta, it was bland. But the steak and chicken parm were very good. The steak sauce was AMAZING 👏 My drink rum runner was delicious. The chili was SO DAMN GOOD, just a taste on my fry was so impactful. Everything was well made. Dessert was the chocolate mousse, was very good. The raspberry sauce was so yummy.😋

Came here for a family party and absolutely loved everything about it. We had the buffet and it was amazing! My sister in law said they were easy and amazing to work with for the event. Even my kids loved it! I booked an event there before we left for my daughter. Definitely will be going back on our next date night to try the food off the menu.

First time here and it was good. The appetizer, mozzarella sticks, were ok, but the main courses were delicious. The cookie skillet was the better than the brownie. Sangria flights were good as well. We have the corn/sweet potato veggie burger and the margarita pizza.

We had a graduation gathering at Stoneforge Tavern, what an amazing experience! The food was phenomenal and the ambience was stunning, this is by far our favorite place to dine in the area! If you were looking for fine dining, they offer outdoor seating as well with a fireplace and play music in the summertime

Don't expect to go home hungry after coming here. I was sad I couldn't finish the delicious lobster mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes but it was amazing and filling. Actual huge chunks of lobster in the mac and cheese claw meat and all it was perfect couldn't ask for better. Garlic mashed was amazing. We were on thr tavern side for this meal. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed their three course dinner menu. Lazy man's baked stuffed lobster was amazing.

Oh my steak and cheese!!!

I’ve lived in this area for over 10 years and have searched high and low for a good steak and cheese sandwich. I’ve finally found The One. It’s only served at lunch time so don’t go looking for it at dinner.

My hat is off to the chefs, Kay and Juliano (aka Jalapeño). I was told Juliano made the sandwich but Kay taught him all the tricks-thank you both for giving me my all time favorite steak and cheese sandwich. I will be requesting this every time I visit, even if it’s a dinner time.

Great experience at this location during our visit to the Boston area. Group of 6 and everyone was extremely satisfied with both the food and service. Jambalaya was cooked to perfection. Multiple options on the menu with friendly atmosphere. Fantastic bar seating area with multiple TV’s to catch local Boston sports action.

This place was just the perfect spot for a hungry traveler. In Kentucky I don't get a chance to eat much sea food so when I have the opportunity while visiting other places I take it. The tavern side of the restaurant was great, the wait staff was friendly and quick and the food was just what I needed. I had the Boston Baked Seafood and a cup of Mac and cheese. The bake was fantastic, it was baked in butter and had this Ritz type cracker on top to help soak up the butter with each mouth watering bite. The Mac and cheese was creamy and the bacon gave the dish a burst of flavor to make it stand out. Definitely did not disappoint.

This restaurant is amazing. I've been here multiple times as I pass through for business. The service is always stellar, and the food is even better.

The servers know the menu forward, backward, and inside out. They offer great suggestions. If something isn't right, the chef will correct it... Example: the other night I had some "gritty" clams, they took them back and made a fresh batch, ensuring the clams were clean... No problems at all.

Great place. Try to get here if you're in the area

We come here for our anniversary every year. We went last night 12/27. We had a reservation but the time was put in wrong. We got there but they had closed the room in the public house. We were dissappointed...but the waitress...Vanessa talked to the manager. Well we got seated the chef came out and kept kitchen open just for us.Let me just tell you...that the service the food, the presentation was excellent. Our waitress Vanessa was the best. They didn,t rush us or anything. It was an enjoyable anniversary. Thank you again Management,chef, and especially Vanessa. She deserves a good bonus. The other waitress was very nice as well. Where to start is the real question. Should we discuss the beautiful architecture, incredible atmosphere, variety of the menu, cleanliness of the restaurant or the staffs incredible customer service???? I was luckily enough to discover this gem while working in MA. I have eaten here two nights in a row with all intentions of making it 3 in a row. First night I kept it simple with a domestic draft, crab cakes and wings. Second night we stepped things up with craft brews, NE clam chowdah and the fisherman's platter. Wow is the best way I could describe the food. Scallops that were soft as butter, delicious clams and succulent shrimp complemented the fries and battered Cod so well. A small side of coleslaw was a great palette cleaner and offered contrast to the meal. If you are local to the area or staying at the adjacent Marriot I could not recommend a better place to enjoy an amazing meal than the stone forge!

Tic tac toe, three nights in a row. For my last night in Mass I couldn't think of a better place for dinner. Tonight we did some buffalo wings and the jambalaya. Absolutely delicious dinner. The photos speak for themselves!

We went to the tavern side and for starters the building is killer. Such a rustic design it was an experience just to dine there. We had just been traveling all day from VA and we finally got to sit down and have a cold beer and some amazing food. The service was excellent, the food was excellent and the beer options were killer. Can't complain about a single thing. Definitely recommend and I wish there was one of these down where we live in VA.

First time here. Beautiful place inside & out! Our waiter was great - he stayed on top of everything, food was delicious. Had a wonderful time with my family here. Will definitely be back & will absolutely be recommend this place to others!

Traditional New England cuisine in well-maintained traditional New England restaurant. Beautiful setting. Great service. Prix-fix menu only. Good options for most.

I just went the past two weekends and it was fantastic! Me & my mom got lazy-man lobster and short ribs and it was perfect! The lobster had so much hot delicious drawn butter and was seasoned well and there was SO much lobster meat!!! It wasn’t over cooked at all and it was for sure Maine lobster. Delicious!! The short ribs were nice and moist and flavorful and had plenty of fat (which I love !) - the vegetable and potato were good and fresh and the winter martini drink selection was perfect! I will be back often. I haven’t been since I was a kid with my parents like 20 years ago and now I’m remembering to go back and will continue.
