The Royal NEVER disappoints...
Always leave full and happy!! Our waitress Veronica was super sweet and attentive and Bartender Debbie makes some great drinks! Definitely a place to visit when you're in the city!

This was the best dining experience o have had in a long time! Lunch prices were excellent! I ordered chorizo & cheese sandwich with fries. Hubby ordered grilled chicken and cheese sandwich with fries. He said it was the best chicken sandwich he has ever had. Food came fast. There's a family style dining area where we sat that was very clean and a lounge with bar adjacent to the dining room with a few tables and keno. I will come here again very soon!

Wonderful, tranquil little place with amazing food and the friendliest service. Everything was delicious, the staff was kind and attentive, and the place was impeccably clean. Was here from out-of-state to visit friends, so I can't make it back easily or often, but if you have a chance to go here, do. Treat yourself; you'll be happy you did.

Now this place is a hidden gem u would probably drive right by an not even look at it but once u go there the Portuguese food is off the charts I mean probably one of the best around. The owner is on site all the time talking with patrons checking if you're happy with your food an the waitress has been there for 30years she must have started young great personality very helpful with ordering your food👍I did not want to review this place cause I probably won't be able to get a seat the next time I go witch might even be today. Amazing, the best Portuguese restaurant I’ve ever been to. Service was awesome, waitress was friendly, a warm and cozy place, the medium-rare steak was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing along wit the eggs, ham, rice, and fries. Shrimp Mozambique was tasty. Great restaurant none the less, 10/10 would recommend and come again.

First time there and delightfully surprised food was plentiful AND delicious! Prices are incredible.. we honestly thought we had an old menu! Going again Thurs!

Always a good experience at the Royal. The staff is friendly and I’ve never been disappointed by the food. You can’t go wrong with any one of the staff but If you’re dining in ask for Wendy! She always goes above and beyond with her service.

It was very good, I enjoyed my food but I bagged it up and gravy all over bag, I should of asked for the little canister for gravy, next time it was delicious hit the sport. Azorean so great

Awesome food. Best Portuguese restaurant in new Bedford. Unlike Antonio restaurant they use mash potatoes gravy as sauce for the Portuguese steak are you serious????

The food was absolutely delicious and it was very nice and cozy inside. My parents went for their famous Portuguese boiled dinner they have every Saturday and it came with so much food and was extremely good!!

I had ordered a bunch of food for a big party and they where so kind to deliver it came on time and hot !!! Out of the 150 people in attendance there was not one complaint about the food ! I would like to thank the royal for making this party a success !!!!!

Extremely friendly waitress made the evening meal quite pleasant. Very pleased they were open after being turned away from Antonio's.
