Taqueria La Raza

The mangonada, tacos, papas la raza and pastelillos are soooo good. Ordered a quesadilla today and am expecting it’ll also be delicious.

I went to Taqueria La Raza to meet some colleagues for lunch. I had shrimp tacos that were delicious. The staff was very friendly and we did not feel rushed. I would definitely go back.

Love the lady whose husband owns this place ! She’s the best and very sweet . When I come here I always look forward to interacting with her

This is the place. If you are looking for that New Bedford gem with great, authentic food and kind ppl, look no further. I cannot say enough good things about La Raza. Best Mexican food I have ever had, hands down and the staff is so nice. Def worth a look.

This was hands down, no exaggeration, the BEST Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. One of if not the best food spots in the city! Good prices, very good portions, absolutely delicious food. First time going there was amazing, I’m thoroughly impressed with not a single complaint. We will definitely be returning for more! If you have any doubts about where to get tacos or chimichangas..etc..look no further. This is THE place. 5/5 stars easy.

The burritos and tacos are amazing and real coke from mexico! (Real sugar instead of corn syrup)

First time trying this place and wow is all I have to say. Amazing. Authentic. Portions are incredible and they do not skimp on anything.

Love this place! Best authentico Mexican food in area by far. Food is delicious and price point can't be beat. It's somewhat of a hole in the wall, but the friendly counter service, sombreros hanging from the walls, jukebox, and Univision constantly on screen give it plenty of charm. Also, it's BYOB!

Decent service but the food is just delicious if you like Mexican food you have to try this place. And the passion fruit is amazing

This small hidden spanish restaurant packs a punch when it comes to their burritos. I was introduced to this place by a former roomate and after that day, my view of how Mexican/Spanish food should be cooked had changed for the better that day. Definitely beats Chipotle and No Problemos without a doubt. I had a steak burrito with rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, and sour cream. It legit just melted in my mouth. One week, I've visited four times here and I had ordered the steak burrito every time. I just went recently and it was one of the best decisions I've made in a while. I highly encourage you to visit this place. The outside and surrounding area may look intimidating if you're not used to the area but the owners and workers are super friendly. I'd definitely consider this place a hidden gem.

Showed up as they opened: delicious and well spiced tacos (chicken, chorizo, and pastor). Would definitely get again when in the area. Their hot sauce is for experts only.

Quick stop on our way back to Newport and amazing kind service! Food was just as amazing! Almost like homemade Mexican food! It's a little small on the inside but it's def worth going to order out or eat in. I will def come again next time we are out this way forsure!

I love this place. I'm from North Carolina and we're staying with my husbands family. We stopped by this place because it's a 5 minute walk from where we're staying at. Love the food and the service. I will come here every time we come to New Bedford. Food was delicious and service was prompt.

Went for lunch with friends the drinks were great. The mixed fajitas comes with shrimp chicken and steak so good.
