Game King

My husband has been searching for a specific comic that was released recently and we were unable locate it near us. So we stopped here while in the area. He said it was a little hard to navigate at first, but was very impressed with the selection and the hours. Staff was great! Will definitely be back.

Went with my wife to pick up some boxes of sorcery contested realm. It was our first time there and I’ve never felt more welcomed. Everyone at the counter was fun to talk to and share stories with about this new game and how it brings back that old school feel. I wish I lived closer for tournaments but this will definitely be a common place for my family to shop and give our money to. Thank you guys again and can’t wait to see y’all more! Might even have to try the new Star Wars game y’all mentioned!

Been going there for years, good people overall for the most part. The people that work there are like slightly friendlier, less pretentious, real-life versions of Comicbook Guy from the Simpsons. That said, Nick the staff member is a miracle of sorts. The fact that he is still alive, and somewhat mobile, boggles the mind. Given his physical conditions, he should have died in the late 1990s

The store can be somewhat intimidating for new people, but everyone I’ve interacted with is super friendly! Overall a great place to spend time with friends playing card games you enjoy and make new ones playing those same games. Hopefully their products can come in faster as UPS issues halter their inventory sometimes.

Anniversary trip.. my wife finds yarn shops, I find game shops.

Staff was helpful and knowledgeable while being unobtrusive.

There's a decent used section as well as multiple shelves of new TTRPGs from a variety of publishers.

The card/game tables were populated but it wasn't loud or disruptive and they weren't disturbed by my poking around.

Good selection of comics and manga, just wish I could have talked my wife into buying a title she wanted.

Stores like this are how the hobby survives and grows.. even as VTT gets better there will always be a place for tables and shelves of goodness.

I just started coming here with my son to start our Pokemon collection. They are super nice and helpful and we will be coming back as often as we can. You can tell they love what they do and are extremely knowledgeable about collecting and games. Thanks guys!

Derek and crew are super helpful and friendly. They have reasonably priced product and a solid selection. There is plenty of space and the community that frequents the store is welcoming. Highly recommend!

Not my first time here but it's been a while. Game King has a large variety of games and comics in my opinion. When I came in, there must have been approximately 30 people in the store for a couple of card tournaments. Staff was attentive and helpful with what I was looking for. Will go again.

High rating for their comics selection (AWESOME) and service (also very good as long as you talk to them about what you need)... would be reduced to 3 stars if judging solely on Magic:the Gathering (for which I'm usually there) and pricing. Overall, decent selection and good space for gaming, both casual and organized events. It's a good store, but generally expect to pay MSRP on most items.

NOTE: No on-site parking... have to use the metered parking around Main St, which is an added expense if you plan to attend an event.

I love Game King, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the tables are always open. Ive gone to Game king every weekend for about 4 months now and have always been able to find a commander group and meet plenty of friendly MTG players willing to teach new players and challenge veterans. All and all, Game king is the cardshop for you if your looking to get off kitchen table MTG play and meet and play with experienced and friendly members of the MTG community.

Great shop, more yi gi oh product would be nice. Will be back many times

A great local community with a wide plethora of table top & trading card games from Magic the Gathering to Flesh & Blood, Pokemon, YuGiOh, Warhammer, Blood Bowl and board games or comics in general, there is a LOT of inventory at Game King. You'll find what you need here at reasonable prices and if they don't have it, they can order it for you from one of their many distributors. They also carry awesome soap products I enjoy!

One of the workers here too about an hour to explain everything to me. He helped me find things my children would enjoy and buy things for them that they loved. They have board games, comics, all sorts of games, books and basically any hobby you might find yourself or your children getting into. Very friendly helpful staff as well.

Great atmosphere, the store owners are very attentive to to their customers. Come by some time and be surprised by what they carry

Fun store! Right up my alley!

I play in their Warmachine/Hordes league. The staff are some great guys, always ready for a pick-up game and always did their best to help me find cards/models/games if it was not already in their huge inventory. They have a HUGE play space too!

I played at the modern master release.
The staff is very friendly and the players there are competitive, and friendly.
A rare combination if you have been around this for a while.
Especially for a tournament with money prizes

The tournament went as scheduled with no delay.
Prizes were paid down to fourth place.

I will be returning here, and will recommend all my friends here.

Game nights are a blast. If you are a casual player of Magic or Yugio or a serious competitor everyone is friendly and helpful. A great inexpensive night out and a great group of people. Give it a try.

Great game store - from collectible card games to board games, D&D, and tons of miniature games - Game King has just about everything. Great place to play, fun atmosphere and the owners are awesome too.
