Coming from a California resident, they know how to cook Mexican food. This place had delicious margaritas, great music, attentive servers, and flavorful food. We’ll definitely be back!

We have finally found a good restaurant in the area. I was surprised that the place wasn't completely full. The food was so fresh and beautifully prepared. We will definitely go back.

Love good food! My husband and I always sit outside and it always rains! With the outdoor umbrellas it's quite OK. We get to laugh and enjoy being outdoors in thie wonderful area. Growing up between Arizona and here, this food is great at Picantes. A must try. Flavors are fantastic and Service is always with a smile. This time we ordered Tamarind margaritas with dinner and they didn't disappoint.

An authentic and very good Mexican restaurant in Northwest Connecticut just a little south of Massachusetts. I tried the Fish Tacos and they were excellent. The fish was fresh and tasty and the veggies were fresh. Also, the corn tortillas tasted like they were homemade. I would probably have given them a 4.5 if that was possible but the food and atmosphere certainly deserved better than a 4. Will definitely eat there again.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Tuesday evening. The service was fast and the food was amazing! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The restrooms were super clean. Can’t wait to go back!

The food was absolutely delicious. We got tacos which were great except they were quite small and we were still hungry.

I was there Saturday night. They have great food, great drinks and very good service. I really highly recommend this place, I got the house special seafood pasta and the jalapeño margarita I loved it.

We are from California. This Mexican food is pretty legit! Homemade guac and margaritas 🔥

The Al Pastor was moist and flavorful, the Chicken Chimichanga was the best I have had in a long time!

Everything was perfect including the spicy Margheritas

I really enjoyed myself and the atmosphere. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food really hit the spot and it felt good to eat something that made me feel so good. I felt like my mind was refreshed when I left.

We’ve done take out and dined in here a few times and it’s always great! The servers are so friendly and the food and drinks are delicious!
