When a place gets a universal thumbs up from your New England family, you know it must be good…..and they were right!

I ordered the blackened swordfish steak with fries and coleslaw. My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw just how thick it was! Most beef steaks at restaurants aren’t as thick as thing was. It was delicious! I’ve been to restaurants where the seasoning overpowers the fish itself. Not here. It had the perfect balance of that unique swordfish flavor with the blackened seasoning.

The decor of the place is simple/quaint. With a fish market at one of the building, you know that the fresh seafood is the star of the show, not any fancy decor.

Service was very friendly and attentive. The servers here actually take the time to get to know their customers. Big thumbs up there.

So, if you’re looking for authentic, fresh-from-the-sea, New England seafood in a no-frills, down home environment, Cape Quality Seafood is your place.

I added their House Quahog & Lobster Mac n’ Cheese to my “tried” list.

Their House Quahog is mildy spicy & deep-fried for a crispy outside & soft, moist inside. It’s as large as it is delicious & surprisingly filling for an appetizer.

Their Lobster Mac n’ Cheese is as delicious as it sounds. Rich, creamy cheese with chunks of delicious New England Lobster throughout. The serving itself is large (like everything else on the menu) and very filling for even the hungriest diner.

This was our first time there. Everything was excellent. Our server is so amazing that she doesn't write anything down and she doesn't forget. We will absolutely be going back.

Love love love this little gem. This is a MUST stop and eat while I am in town! My husband first visit with me and gives 2 thumbs up!! Clam cakes that are full with clams and the size of your fist and the fried seafood delicious! Thank you for the great service and the friendly atmosphere!!!

I do love it here for all of my seafood needs. The fish is always fresh. They have enough other sides to bring home as well. The chowder, breads, quahogs, lobster live or chilled. You can grab the entire meal to entertain at home.

When you first walk into the Restaurant section of Cape Quality Seafood, you might notice that the entryway is adorned with a selection of awards. Most of these are related, in some way, to clam chowder.

You'll discover, upon ordering the clam chowder, that these awards are well-earned because the dish served here is absolutely delicious.

All the other seafood entrees tried were also very impressive, and tasted extremely fresh. This makes sense, as the restaurant also has a seafood market section. Prices for big ticket items are 'market price', but clearly communicated on a chalk board inside and very fair for the high quality.

Service was attentive and very kind. They made the whole experience very enjoyable, despite our large party. We were particularly impressed that our entire order, with nearly ten people, was memorized without notation with pen or pencil and served without a single omission or mistake.

The interior of the restaurant is very homey, and well decorated. It was a delightful dining room.

All in all, worth the journey to try.

I love this local seafood restaurant. It never disappoints. Very good food, friendly waitstaff and close to home.

Loved the food , it was my first time . Waitress was ok but she's young so I expect that . I would definitely go back and have the special Marco Polo. It was delicious , and never had a dish like that before neither . Clam boil prices were near perfect considering the prices to make a clam boil yourself. It could probably feed 2 .

It was a great afternoon lunch with friendly service and a delicious seafood trio of fried clams, oysters and scallops in a nice neighborhood restaurant. It is definitely worth an out the way excursion that Google Maps makes easy.

Wonderful fresh seafood, and homemade pistachio cake was out of this world! Kudos to the friendly awesome waitstaff too!! We'll be back soon!!

The best fresh seafood in the area. Love the steamers. Their other food is great, just like home cooked meals. The employees are excellent and always nice. Still an excellent restaurant.

Best clam chowder!! I love coming here, I live out of state and I make sure to come here as much as possible when I'm in town visiting family. Wait staff is amazing and we're always treated well.

They cook to order, so I don't mind waiting for my food. The food is fresh and inviting. The waitress, Joylene is a wonderful person and very pleasant, she remembers everybody's orders with out writing it down.. so what if you have to wait enjoy the ambience of the restaurant. Cape Quality Seafoid is the Best.❤

Great place with great food and service. We usually come here every time we're back home during clam boil season. Our server, who we've gotten before, was friendly and excellent as usual. 5/5, perfect!

This place is so clean and the freshest seafood and the service is very good!! I usually go on Fridays with 2 friends. The 2 waitresses Joyellen and Crystal are awesome!! If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Amazing seafood and we have the same waitress every time we go and she is amazing cannot say enough about her. Not a large place and can get really busy at night on the weekends but we'll worth any wait.
