This school is absolutely terrible. My family just recently moved here from a very small town and my 10yr old little brother started the 5th grade and it has been nothing but an awful experience. To start off, the education is awful. They make simple math extremely complicated and do not focus on making sure the children understand what they are being taught. Also, my mother had called the school out of concern for my brother because he was struggling in class and struggling making friends (as we all know it's hard being the new kid especially when he's gone to school with the same kids his whole life). She left a voicemail for the vice principal and never received a call back. Clearly there is a lack of concern for the success of every student. My last complaint is that there is a bullying problem at this school that needs to be addressed by the school and by the parents. Over all, if you're looking for a positive learning experience for your child and teachers devoted to the success of all students I would definitely not recommend Chapparal Elementary School. 👎🏻
