Fry's Food And Drug

Fry’s at Recker and McKellips has been my main grocery store for close to 20 years. It’s a great store, always filled with groceries and supplies at great prices, even during Covid, they didn’t price gouge like other stores. The front line employees used to be personalable, now it’s just funnel customers through (cashier Pete is the best, always will help with sales when ringing you up, genuinely is a nice person), too many self-service registers that don’t work, bring back the registers with more human cashiers, too much “stuff” in aisles, stop trying to push items, leave aisles where people can shop without dodging stuff.

This is our everyday supermarket and although everyone is always courteous the customer service clerk today Ryan went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. Even prior to going into the store we called and he took the time and patience to answer all our questions over the phone.
The store is always clean and well stocked.

I do my grocery shopping at 6am so mileage may vary; however, the staff at this Fry's is always welcoming and I generally find the store pretty cozy. The lot is always clean, and you know what, I'll actually give credit to the parking lot for having a sensible layout (a rarity for the area). Overall, if I need to get groceries, and I'm out this direction, this is the go to.

The deli staff is always nice. They never make you feel like you're inconveniencing them with your preferences. The sushi is good too.

The Starbucks sucks though.

This is a huge place that seems to have some of everything!

Lovely new store. Was disappointed at the wine bar was closed but can understand why. Lots of deals, fresh produce, take and bakes perfect size for single meals.

JESSE is an absolutely amazing employee & Frys is very lucky to have such a hard worker! He came to my rescue the other night with late night smoke alarm battery purchase & SUPER grateful he went above & beyond as provided an INCREDIBLE level of customer service! THANK YOU JESSE

Visited this store while on vacation in the Phoenix area and was really impressed by the cleanest and organizinzation of this store. So much that while shopping in the store and Grandkids asking me to move down there. I happen to spot a store Sup/Manager and made him aware I was looking to relocate to the area. He took my information and called someone to speak with them and said I should here from someone in a couple days if not give him a call @ the store. Well haven't heard from anyone just yet so I suppose I call him or look at other opportunities to work and add my talent. But overall experience was awesome 👌🏿 and wins my loyalty as a customer when I'm in the Phoenix area.

This place has the best grocery store prices, and it's huge! I don't drink, but I wander if they're ever going to open the bar next to the sushi. It would be a great place to enjoy your Starbucks, which you can purchase in the store. That Starbucks also has order ahead on the Starbucks app, which makes things so much faster

I was in the store this morning and one lane over there was a small child throwing a temper tantrum. The mother was at her wits end and I’m sure embarrassed. The woman bagging, I believe her name was Corazine, was not only able to calm the child down, she watched over her and kept her calm while the mother paid for her groceries. It was really something to see. She had a way to soothe the child that even her mother didn’t in that moment.
She went above and beyond and is someone you should be proud to have working for you.

Lots of self checkout, and also typically plenty of cashiers, and typically plenty of people around the store if you need help.

I absolutely LOVE this store. I have been shopping here since it opened and have zero complaints.
The staff is very friendly in the entire store, it's very clean, the fruits and veggies are fresh, the bakery is fresh, meat department is legit.

What a difference! This store was well stocked and appeared well staffed. I passed 2 other Fry’s that tend to rarely have both at the same time. The Deli was even open after 4:00pm, amazing!!

It makes me wonder…what makes one Fry’s run so much better than 2 others within just a few miles of each other? Leadership is the only thing that makes sense to me…

Very nice Frys Marketplace, they have everything & some. If you don't go to frys, I'd suggest you start.. + get your frys card (save on deals inside the store in every department) ++ go to a Fry's -> Marketplace <- (HUGE DIFFERENT) +++They have a few shelves that are clearance by the trash bags ( In other frys marketplaces they could be next to the Tissues/Toilet Paper/Paper Towels.

I love shopping at this location! The staff are always friendly, from saying "thank you for shopping here" at the self checkout line, to employees taking the time to walk you to what you're trying to find. They have a great selection of home and grocery items as well, including a great wing bar! Highly recommend!

Fry's has done a phenomenal job in bringing back the concept of customer service. Anytime I've ever asked for help, the employees have always been attentive and have gone above and beyond to make sure that I find what I'm looking for. Everything from the customer service at the deli counter to the checkout line, it's always a great experience.

I went in this morning for a few things and Kahtona (I apologize if that’s the wrong spelling) was extremely upbeat and positive and ensured that I got savings from a coupon that wasn’t working right away. She really knew her stuff and made sure to take care of me. She really started my day off right!

Since moving over here 2 months ago, this has been my main grocery store and I love it. The staff is incredibly nice and the food is fresh.
