Sloan Park

Attended a spring training game here. It was a sold out stadium. We had seats in the grass and the view was amazing. Get there early to get a nice space in the grass. We arrived about an hour early and had a good selection. Bring a blanket the grass was wet so we were glad we had it! Kids can run up to the fence in the grass area and players will throw balls. Check bag policies before you arrive. Lots of food options. We had pizza and birria tacos and both were good. Birria tacos you will be waiting a while. Lots of parking. We parked in the 10$ parking and it was just a horrible easy walk. We had all our luggage in the car and felt safe leaving it there. We left at the 8th inning and got out easily.

We attend a spring training game at Sloan Park on February 25th. The weather was perfect. The fans were overall well behaved The foul balls not so much. One of the balls hit the seat a few feet away. This was pretty scary for the fans seated nearby. The tickets for the seats are pretty expensive. The drinks are really expensive. As one of the vendors said "ice cold, very overpriced beer". One way to save some money is to take your own water in an unopened bottle. The second is to buy general admission tickets for around $18-30 versus $150 for a stadium seat. Take a blanket as this is lawn seating - no chairs. It is on the north side of the ballpark so is in full sun. The park is getting a little beat up as the cup holders in front of the seats against the wall were broken off. Rest of the stadium looked good. We were disappointed the Cubs did not score against the Padres but the game was fun anyway.

Amazing Stadium and a really great place to watch the Cubs. Prices are reasonable and food choices are great.

Arguably the best spring training stadium in AZ. It's enjoyable to park in the east and walk through Mesa riverview park to the stadium.

Love seeing the Chicago Cubs sign for Spring Training. What a great staff everyone was so friendly, definitely a mini friendly confines. Go Cubs!

Attended a Chicago Cubs Spring Training game. This was my first time to Sloan Park. It’s definitely an impressive venue. There is something for everyone with food, beverage, dessert selections.

There are multiple team shops and restrooms throughout which reduces lines and organizes traffic flow so everyone can have an enjoyable experience.

The parking was easier than I expected. The signage was clear and guided us in perfectly. The staff were polite and communicated well.

Security was also easier than expected. But, be sure to look up what is and is not allowed inside before finding out the day of your event. The website states restrictions. The security personnel moved everyone in quickly.

I’ll definitely be back next season.

A sweet old lady with a 6-seat golf cart assisted us in getting from the parking lot to the center field gate. As a passenger in the back seat who had to hold on during the yeeted turns, I appreciated the thrill!

Spring training is an amazing experience. Major league experience for a minor league price. I witnessed a guy get a baseball from a relief pitcher in the bullpen. Too bad he didn't give it to the children.

Went here for the first time at the beginning of Spring Training. Great facility, in good shape with friendly staff. It reminds me of Wrigley Field in Chicago. Can't wait to go there for another game sometime.

Nice field, but super busy. Everyone is excited to be there to support the home team. Ice cream was good, items in the store were pretty expensive but to be expected. Lawn seats were good but definitely bring a blanket to sit on, and it will be hard to maneuver around people if you sit close to the fence and want to get up during the game.

We used the Valley Metro to get back to our hotel in downtown Phoenix. We took a Lyft there and it was pretty smooth all around.

Love spring training! Super entertaining and live action. The park is beautiful and modern. Ample restrooms and the seating options are great! Tons of merchandise and the food is good! Can’t wait to go again!

Great spring training ballpark. Makes you feel you are in an old time ballpark. They laid it out very well so that most of the seats are in the shade, except the lawn. You are in full sun the entire game. You don't have to be a Cubs fan to enjoy the game and their fans are friendly. Everyone is there to enjoy baseball. They have a nice touch if you stand in line to get your picture in front of the Wrigley sign, they will type it in so the board says your name on it. Getting out of the parking lot was a bit of a hassle. But a great day all around.

Home of Cubs spring training. Doesn’t get better than this in that regard. The ballpark is beautiful to say the least, and takes certain aspects of Wrigley back in Chicago and mixes it with a modern ballpark. The lawn seating is really where you have to go for a good time. Just go with the family and you’ll have a blast. Might even catch a HR ball!

I love this park, I hate the lawn seating because I feel that isn’t really a true option for how many tickets they must sell for the lawn area. We ended up not being able to watch the game and my little guys didn’t see anything at all. But nice park.

Such a fun park for children of all ages. Activities for everyone and a huge splashpad for cooling off during those hot summer months. I love taking native Arizonians here that didn't even know it existed and now they get to enjoy our little diamond in the rough as much as we do!

This place is so cool and a nice little home away from home. I highly recommend going to a Cubs game even if you aren't a huge baseball fan.

It's always a great time. Especially when the Cubs beat the Sox.

It's Cubs baseball, what is there not to love? Beautiful park. The field has the same dimensions as Wrigley Field so it's like playing at home during Spring Training. If you're looking to catch a game here you don't necessarily have to wait until Spring Training. Park is open during the summer and fall with the AZL League during the summer and home to the Mesa Solar Sox in the fall. If you're a Cubs fan it's a must see.
