Dr. O is absolutely one of the best, well informed, thorough, and encouraging doctors I’ve ever had. When I first started seeing her my health was failing in several areas. 2 years later by following her tough but necessary advice I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been. She’ really listens to me and she doesn’t just rush through my visit. I must express this because she’s been a huge part of my reaching my healthcare goals.

Hands down the best medical general practitioner I have seen in Kentucky. She listens, engages, doesn't patronize, but will be completely 100% straight and transparent with you when needed. She is on top of your medical needs and goes above and beyond in communicating what you need to know to stay healthy and alive.

Dr. O is the best provider I have had in my 30 years of living! Her approach to health and caring for patients is genuine, level headed, and innovative. She takes the time to listen, and finds the best treatment plan- specific to you. Thankful to have found her!

The best doctor in the world. I have been to so many doctors over the past few years as we tried to identify an unknown medical condition (which turned out to be POTS) and from day one doctor O. has been there for me, cared for me, and been as friendly as can be at every visit. If you were thinking about making an appointment with her, DO IT! I could not recommend her enough!!!!

I've always been hesitant to go to doctors offices. But Dr Owusu was so kind and helpful, that I found myself enjoying the visit. She took time to listen to my history and was empathetic- she talked to be about my story and helped me feel so much better about myself and what I'd been through. She referred me to different specialists and prescribed me different medications to help. The medications are helping me, and I'm so grateful to her for her kindness and help. Medications do have side effects. We talked through them, and I haven't had any. I think it's wise to understand that doctors can't foresee every side effect. Some people do react adversely to medications. It's the individual's job (and the parents, if the patient is a minor or very young) to pay attention to the side effects or say no to a medication if it doesn't seem necessary. We discussed different medications and decided on one together. I was comfortable with the ones she gave me, but I might not have been with another. I think it's only fair to give an evaluation of a doctor with a variety of factors in mind. Dr Owusu is kind, a good listener, empathetic, and helpful. She genuinely cares about her patients. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Owusu is so awesome! She is very patient to listen to your concerns fully and she thoroughly examines you, your medical history and lifestyle. Dr. Owusu saved me from a lot of pain where I had been misdiagnosed for years/decades even and she got to the bottom of my issue within my 1st visit to her. I am forever grateful for her altruistic care.

Best doctor with common sense

You put our daughter Ashley Benton on Wellbutrin one of the most dangerous prescriptions. It's for smoking cessation but she quit years ago. It changed her physchiatry and physical well being. Then per Wellbutrin which causes suicidal thoughts, she attempts such but was saved by her nurse friend and is confused and needs physical therapy daily lying in a hospital bed for almost 4 weeks.
Again because of said Wellbutrin which also causes headaches added 2 more prescriptions which did nothing but cause vomiting and further confusion. We understand she is an adult and listened to you but as her parents we are beyond belief you could do this to any human.
Prescribed medication often helps others but disillusioned her to unrecognizable!!
