I have been going to Dr Hensley’s office for many years. I have had a few mild skim cancers that he has removed and go every 6 months for screenings. He always teases me about the list of suspicious spots and bumps I keep in my phone to review with him.
My sons had both seen him during the teen years for acne and my husband has also been seeing him for quite some time for skin cancer screenings.
I have trusted my entire family in Dr Hensley's hands and have always felt he has given us excellent care. I think we have built a great doctor/patient relationship and will miss his dry sense of humor but I am very happy for him to start his next chapter.

Dr Hensley,
Thank you so much for the care you have provided to me and my family over the years. I wish you the best and I hope you enjoy your retirement and have many sunny days in the golf course. You go ahead and take as many mulligans as you want, this is your time. Haha

Dr. Hensley and staff are very caring about their patients. I would recommend him to anyone needing a dermatologist but, sadly for his patients he's retiring soon. But happy for him as he begins a new and exciting time.

Dr. Douglas Hensley and his staff are wonderful providers!! He is so professional and caring to his patients and I and my friends who go to him for their care would highly recommend him to anyone who wants outstanding service and individual attention to each patients needs. The office staff are efficient, friendly and work hard to assist patients in obtaining appointments that suits their needs. My husband and I go to Dr. Hensley and would not consider going anywhere else for our skin care.

Dr. Hensley is retiring at the end of the year. I completely trust his judgment in who he places our care worh and so I have no plans to go anywhere else.

Always a great experience. Dr. Hensley is genuine and honest. If he is unsure of the diagnosis, he will do further testing to figure it out. All of my questions were answered and the staff is very pleasant and organized. Excellent physician and office!

Unlike a lot of physicians Dr. Hensley listens, he is caring, personable and all around good person. The office staff is amazing as well. They are really just the sweetest, and they always remember you. My husband and I have both had in office surgical procedures. Dr. Hensley and the nurses made us feel at ease and totally prepared for what would happen before and after the procedures before he even began.

I recommend him to anyone who needs a dermatologist for any reason. The entire office is exceptional.

I have been a patient of Dr Hensley’s for almost 20 years. He is very thorough and professional. Addresses all concerns. You never feel rushed. His staff are first class. 5 stars!

Short wait before going to exam room. Dr. Hensley apologized for the wait. Treatment completed and out the door within a half hour. I appreciate the quick treatment, the apology although he wasn’t that delayed, and his concern and interest in my health issues.

Dr. Hensley is a wonderful doctor. He actually takes the time to talk to you and find out what is going on. I find this refreshing when so many doctors are now on an assembly line. The office staff are friendly and courteous along with the professional staff.

Dr Hensley was easy to schedule an appointment with as a follow-up to a recent Hospital ER visit.

Dr Hensley clearly explained the recommended treatment and diagnosis of my problem. Since the ER doctor had prescribed a seven day treatment with antibiotics Dr Hensley recommended an extension of antibiotics for an additional seven days. Dr Hensley stated correct treatment would require surgery after the course of antibiotics to remove the cyst. He clearly explained the process and said that he would need to put stitches in that would be removed two weeks later.

Every step of the process was a positive experience. The office is run very efficiently. All the rooms are well equiped for the particular aspect of the treatment from exam room, to surgical room. The rooms are sparkling clean and both patients and all staff wear masks.

I would highly recommend Dr Hensley but I'll warn you that Dr Hensley has pre-announced he is planning to retire December 2022.

I've been seeing Dr. Hensley for years now. He's in my town once a week, and within 50 miles at his home office the rest of the time. He's always concerned about anything that might come up between yearly exams. He has a great bedside manner and friendly staff. I highly recommend him and his practice.

I was let in for my appointment early. Customer Service was excellent. Paperwork was at a minimum. Quick and easy procedure. Doctor and nurses were tremendous. The cost was surprisingly low. Amazing experience all around. I highly highly recommend...especially if you are leary of medical facilities and procedures.

Staff and Dr. Hensley are very friendly and welcoming. They take time to listen to and address your concerns. Overall, great experience!
