This was my 3rd time getting my hair braided at this establishment. I must say, I was very pleased with my outcome once again. I have gotten kinky twist, box braids, and 1/2 & 1/2 cornrows with knotless braids/springy curls since I started going here. Prices have been reasonable for the work done. The owner always ensure she greets every customer upon her arrival and address any issues or concerns, if any, with the customers to make sure their needs are met. Kudos to Henriette!!! She came in and got straight to work on my hair. She was gentle and kept my hair intact without pulling and snagging any of my natural hair. I can assure you I will have my edges when I remove my braids. She was fast and produced quality work effortlessly. 👏 Keep up the great work!

Great experience! I had my hair braided yesterday. I always had long Curly hair but lost it due to cancer treatments. It was quite the experience since I don't speak or understand African languages. But I was treated very well, the ladies where all very friendly and my braids turned out awesome. Very satisfied! I enjoyed seeing all the woman coming in and leaving with artwork hair, it was beautiful all of them. Thank you Kine and Anthea? I am sorry I probably spell it not right.

I am originally from Michigan, I have been going to Kine for 12 years. They have done plenty of styles on me, crochet, tree braids, box braids, senseless, micros, sew in, cornrows. Basically you name it I have tried it. All the ladies there are very friendly. There prices are reasonable. When you arrive they make you feel like part of the family. I will continue to visit these lovely women! I also recommend you give them a try!

Excellence at its best. These ladies are awesome. I wouldn’t go to a different braiding salon in the city.

I can't say enough good stuff about this place. I always have Jay braid my hair, and they work with you to fit you in. I have never been turned away and have used their service over 5 years. If you don't have time to do your hair or you're always running late in the morning doing your hair, I would recommend braiding. There's no hair too small or too long. They are friendly and very helpful. The only thing I dislike is when they speak in their own language. It makes you feel uncomfortable, but as long as they do a good job, the language doesn't matter too much. It would be nice to offer long-standing clients a discount once in a while, but business is business.

I originally went In for medium box braids , but my Braider Kine said box braids were going be too heavy on my fine hair and suggested I get medium micro braids. They came out perfect. Plus the color is so complimentary to my complexion 10 out of 10 for me

I got there 5 minutes before my appointment and got seated right away. The lady that did my braids was fast and very good (I have a lot of hair). I will say the owner Kine has a beautiful presence about her. If I lived nearby this would definitely be my regular spot.

I arrived 15 minutes early to get my hair done and my stylist was ready. She wasted no time getting me seated, selecting my colors and going over the style. Start to finish it took 2 hours. Time well spent 😌 💖

Ndeye khady was very professional, the services were reasonably priced and my box braids look fabulous. Not to mention my edges are still in tack :) I will be returning and I recommend her services to anyone who's looking for a skilled hair braider.

I love this place. The Nubian twists were beautiful and I received so many complements. They could have been just a bit smaller but they looked fantastic!! Kine is always helpful and available and willing to please the customer.

Love this place because the times I've been there (3) I've had just a small problem with my crochet, braided ponytail, and cornrows and they have fixed it with no hassel at all. And this is after going back after a few days. The owner Kine is very kind.

I moved to Louisville a few months ago from the MD area and was a bit skeptical about letting anyone touch my hair. Kujo was the best! She didn’t grip my hair too tight, took her time and was so neat and precise with my senagalese twists. I’ve received nothing but compliments on my hair since she did it. I will be going to her indefinitely!

Oh my! I received so many compliments about my braids and how they matched my natural hair. This was my first time. I am thinning in one spot, and they worked the braids in. You could not tell. My braids were tight, neat and awesome.
