The staff was extremely helpful helping my elderly cousin with his tax returns. Two thumbs up!

I’ve been trusting them to do my personal taxes for about seven years now and have had no issues. The staff is quick to respond and help with any questions or concerns I have. I have seen the rates go up over the years due to their higher volume, but that’s just telling me they’re doing something right to have that many clients. I highly recommend this place

This company is extremely frustrating to work with. I highly recommend you go with someone else to do your taxes.

I commissioned them to do my taxes 8 months before they were due. For the past several months, I have provided them countless files, forms and documents that they requested. At first, I provided this information to a woman who I was told would be taking care of me, only to find that a few weeks later the owner seemed to take things over and the woman was no longer involved. Weeks/Months would go by with no updates. Then a few months later, an entirely different person had taken over the taxes. And that person was NOT informed with all the information I had previously provided. I was shocked to find out he emailed me basic questions leading up to the day of the deadline that I had answered months ago!

When I requested to talk to him, no one ever called. I again requested a phone call a few days later, but still no one called. No explanation was given for not wanting to talk on the phone.

They promised me they would do our taxes by the deadline, but when the day finally came, they told me they couldn't meet the deadline, and that they would file an extension!
No explanation was given and no apologies were made. I had previously sent emails requesting updates to make sure everything was going OK....and was assured they would have it done in time. So it was infuriating to find out that the taxes still weren't done on the deadline! Again, they did not tell me why.

It is very difficult to get a hold of anyone who works there, especially via phone. They often take a few days to respond to email as well. On one occasion I called them only to find that their phone number had been disconnected! When I called the next day no one could give me an explanation, other than they were busy.

I highly recommend you go with someone else to do your taxes. It is simply not worth the hassle and frustration!

I used Associates in Accounting for two years and they are truly terrible! Sincerely awful.

I initially went to them in my first year because I felt I had some complex tax situations that needed to be discussed with a professional.
Unfortunately, our tax rep rushed through our consultation meeting so fast that I left with zero confidence and my head spinning. It turns out that my situation was fairly complex, as the intern they assigned to file my taxes made a major mistake on my return. This forced me to go back prior to the deadline and fill in all my tax information a second time for myself, ultimately finding hundreds of dollars in tax breaks that they should have caught for the steep price they were charging at the time. Granted, they did refund the service fee because of their mistake; however, I should have dropped them then and there instead of attempting to use their services again a second year.
Year two saw their rates increase by 25% overall! Despite this price-gouge, I called multiple times to set an appointment and discuss my portal with a rep. Still, I kept getting short answered and pushed off. All I wanted was a little guidance for $450 dollars, but instead it appeared I would have to be the one to do my own taxes again.

So, I took the hint and signed up for TurboTax. It was half the cost and twice as friendly! I hate that I had to go with a big corp., but at this point, I would rather give my money to Joseph Stalin as opposed to these hucksters. Stay away. That's my best advice!

I called her a while ago and I was very nice the lady hung up on my face very rude!!!! Wouldn’t recommend no one to go here
