Saw a lot reviews about not being stocked but them girls work there but off only usually 2-3 ppl what do you y'all expect. So the cashier was the sweestest and made me cry. I needed 3.68 and I ran out of money and she paid it for me . God is amazing and works thru people all the time . But thank you sweetheart you helped a person in need and God will pay that forward. Thank you so much I didn't catch her name . But she showed me a picture of her grandchild . So she will know who this is for. Your amazing in every way and I will get u back I promise. Pinky swear

My fav dollar general ever. Always stocked & the manager (younger female) is super sweet & helpful.

I stopped in on 1/27/2023 later in the evening, there was an older man in front of me who was walking with a limp, seemed a bit disabled. His card only approved a certain amount of his transaction, when the cashier (younger looking woman, dark hair) told him this he stood there in silence. The cashier took it upon herself to pay for this man’s entire transaction. I assume she was knew & didn’t have the full ropes on the register yet because she stated she didn’t know how to do split payment. This man did not even thank the cashier for paying for his stuff. Times are hard these days, most of everyone is struggling in some way. So THANK YOU to the cashier who went out of her way to do a nice thing for a complete stranger, who didn’t even thank her 👏🏼

My husband and I stopped in this afternoon to buy 8-10 specific items. The store was well stocked, clean, and neat, as would be expected for a new store. The only employee we came in contact with was the cashier, who was friendly and also helpful in explaining that in order to use Dollar General Store coupons, I would need to download the Dollar General Store app. They have both refrigerated and frozen foods, and also cold soft drinks and beer. I also noticed some home goods such as dishes and linens.I am so grateful to have a store in the neighborhood that carries such a large variety of items. The prices also looked very reasonable. I encourage everyone in the area to go over and walk the aisles to see the vast array of products they have.

All of the staff here really cares about their customers and are always so friendly. They are still understaffed but you can tell they are always working hard to keep everything stocked and clean.

Quick pick up food or anything you need to get. Clean, helpful employees.

I love having A Dollar General in the neighborhood.

We hadn't had a real grocery store since... Well I don't remember what kind of grocery store it was but it's been 20 years I'm sure... Probably longer.

Originally there was a Poke-n-Tote on half the area now occupied by DG. The other half was the very unique Wishes Drugs.

The grocery store moved to what is now the Bargain Palace and Wishes took over the entire space where DG is now.

I hated to see Wishes close down. It's been a part of my life since I was born.

But having a grocery store within walking distance so there's an alternative to paying the high price of the local convenience store is a blessing!

It would be nice if they would staff the store a little better. The house brand products are often out of stock but the back room is crammed with stock waiting to be put up... So you have to pay more for the name brand..

Or seems if you stick to the store brand it's a very inexpensive place to shop.

The store brand items are priced low. Many only $1 or $1.50.

If you want the brand name products Jiff peanut butter instead of the house brand, or Pop Tarts instead of the house brand the prices go way up.

But a great selection of groceries to hardware, socks, underwear, gloves, oil, charcoal, office supplies and on and on.

Each receipt had a coupon for the coming Saturday for $5 off an order of $25 or more...

Cash back is avaliable with your purchase for a small ($1?) fee.

I know it's new but the hours are wrong. It closes at 4pm on a Thursday:/

This store consistently closes at random times everyday . Also doesn't open at 8 a clock either it's 8:35 am Such bad business . They people that work there are super nice and helpful .

Nothing stays stocked in this store. I was excited when a store with groceries moved into the neighborhood but unfortunately this store never has anything on the shelves.

UPDATE : Now for at least a week they have been shutting the store down between 6pm and 7pm while they continue to work inside but allow no customers in.

This is about the sorriest excuse of a store I have ever seen. If it's not closed due to no one wanting to work, then the cash registers close down because someone has a card that doesn't work. Someone in upper management needs to wake up and get their act together. I'll do my shopping somewhere else.

This is my 8th visit in 2 months. 4 out of my 8 visits, the lights are on but the doors are locked. I just watched 23 people try to get in

Place sucks don't have sugar or salt on the shelf..no workers they do have expired everything else tho...lol..so Kroger might be worth the ride.
