Great service. Food came out very fast. Beautiful view of the creek, people sailing by could’ve been nicer and more receptive to our waves but that’s not on the restaurant. Forgot to take pic before we ate the meal, yummy. God Blecc 🙏

A classic riverside restaurant that we've frequented for years and never had an issue. Even through Covid, they did a surprisingly good job keeping up with to-go orders. We've tried most things on the menu by this point and you can't really go wrong. Be advised that the double burger is pretty gigantic. Highly recommend eating outside on the dock when the weather is great. Once upon a time, there was an excellent breakfast brunch, and legend says that if enough people ask it could come back... Well-behaved dogs welcome to come eat outside.

Really love this local restaurant!!! The fish sandwich is always a hit, the onion rings are crunchy and juicy. The service is very friendly and we love that we could bring our dog- he gets very excited about the river close by. By request our waitress boxed up our food and got our check ready so we could sit on the picnic tables down by the water, she let us take our margaritas down there. 😇 we love cunninghams!

Passed by this place many times taking dad to Dr appointments and finally decided to stop in. The atmosphere was perfect and the servers were as well. I had the tender chicken entree smothered with cheese, caramelized onions and mushrooms. It was delicious! Dad had the roast beef sandwich smothered in gravy with mashed potatoes and he ate every bite. Was so impressed I decided to grab a couple cups of chili to go for later. Will definitely stop in again!!! Thank you Cunningham's!!

We loved it ❤ We were able to sit creek side with our dog & enjoy the views/breeze. We all loved their chips & queso cheese. We had ribeye sandwiches and chicken tenders& fries.Our waiter Kevin was super friendly & helpful. We'll definitely return on our next trip to Prospect.

Great place to come and get great views and great service and food. Had the American Melt which was amazingly good and a fish sandwich that was also a great bite. Paul took excellent care of us and will make it a go to destination again real soon

The atmosphere was casual, friendly,, and fun. Food was absolutely delicious! I had the fish combo, and my husband had the fish platter. We also loved the queso dip appetizer. Our server Kevin was on point! He allowed us to set the pace for the service, he brought out drink refills before we ever needed them, and delivered the check and to go boxes quickly. Yes, we had enough for another meal!

We went 2 Sundays in a row. It was absolutely delicious. Large portions always fresh and delicious. While their fried fish is wonderful. I have to say the Blackened is just as good and moist. My new favorite. My husband enjoyed the pork chops the 2nd visit. I highly recommend the Stewed tomatoes the best ever!!!

Went for dinner...a group of 6. Very crowded but served quickly. We ordered the fish finger appetizers and they are huge and not to be missed!!! My husband and I had the fish and steak fries. The fish was sooo large and great..the steak fries looked good but were just okay..kind of hard all the way thru.
We had a nice time and then walked down to the creek..which is very nice except for lots of duck poop. Hey we were outside.

This is a fantastic place!
Sure the inside is a mess and it could definitely use a makeover; sometimes that’s what makes a local favorite great!

Bathroom was clean and staff was spot on.

It’s nostalgic and raw without the fluff, it’s the spot my mother ate two fish sandwiches the day I entered this planet!

It’s been a blessing to revisit with her @ Cunningham’s and my hope and wish is for this establishment to continue to thrive!

I always get the same thing, the fish sandwich to go so I can enjoy the best fish sandwich in town on my boat and it's always great!
Updated: took my almost 3 year old service was great and the kids meal only $5 and a big portion of chicken tenders and fries which I tried and were excellent fresh lightly breaded with a great flavor we both enjoyed!

Cunningham's is a Louisville institution due to its riverside location and good food. Perfectly fried fish is my favorite but they also have grilled seafood, chicken etc.. Think pub food with some upgrades. Service is welcoming and efficient. Atmosphere is laid back and casual. Give them a try - you won't be disappointed!

We came for lunch and the food was great. The service was awesome. Mary C. Was friendly and attentive. She gave us perfect service!

Excellent fish and onion rings. Nice deck by the creek to sit as you have your meal. Employees nice and polite. Parking is a bit tight at lunch hours. Otherwise good food selection available, mixed drinks and beer also.

Their dish dinner is huge. Enough to share with a friend, although I think you'll want to take home and have leftovers, so long as you reheat the fish, on a wire rack to give that crunch back to the fish. Nice thick piece of fish, not heavily breaded. The green beans were awesome! And the homemade onion rings with petal sauce, yummy. I'm a veggie girl, so I also had the steamed broccoli, which was cooked perfectly! My compliments to the cooks in the kitchen!

As always, the fish was great! Large portion of lightly breaded fried cod on two slices of rye bread. I had a side order of French frys very good. So many I could not eat them all. The sandwich was served with pickle and tartar sauce.
They have inside and outside covered dining with a perfect view of Harrods Creek. What a beautiful view. Plenty of free parking
I have been coming to this location since the mid fifties. At that time it was a bar serving food. This is such an historic building, nothing else is quite like this location.
My favorite thing back than was launching my boat in Jeff for a beautiful time on the Ohio to Harrods Creek for a short boat ride to their boat dock. What peaceful trip especially on Harrods Creek it goes on for miles with little noise.

This was a wonderful cozy spot to have a delightful meal. Fast, friendly service, observed all the social distance required steps. The food was amazing!! I had the Ruben, and my boyfriend had the double cheese burger, everything was super yummy. Reasonable price, and nice sized portions. Definitely on our return again list for food.
