A good place to purchase propane for your grill. They also sell grills if you need one. Considered taking a star off because you have to pay for a full tank regardless of any propane left in your tank. But the service is so good. Five stars.

Love supporting a local business as much as I can. They’re always extremely nice, priced well, and usually have what I need. I much prefer coming here since it’s local compared to the “big box” stores.

Never will I go to Lowes or Home Depot again. These guys have it all and most importantly a knowledgeable staff!!!

We try to support local (over big box stores) when we can. Brownsboro Hardware honored the discount from the Traeger website. We actually paid less for our smoker through them then we would’ve at Home Depot or Lowe’s because of this. They assembled it for us quickly and offered to deliver it for free. Now they send us helpful coupons for future purchases and sent us a nice handwritten thank you from the owners.

I love this neighborhood hardware store. Comfy, cozy and everything you need! I highly recommend this to anyone in need of a close hardware store. You can run in, get what you need and run out if you're I a hurry. No long lines, pleasant people help you. Check it out!
I go in all the time but today I want to give a shout out to Neil who was so helpful and polite. He helped with everything from helping me look for something to carrying my bag of soil to the car, all without asking! This young man is how everyone in retail should be. Thank you Neil!

This store literally almost made me cry with their kindness. We recently moved to Prospect. Visiting these folks felt like stepping back in time, and into an idyllic world of mom & pop shops, where the people there know you and genuinely care and want to help. Warm and fuzzy, but not in a creepy way, just 100% genuine way like your grandparents. And hey guess what…they gave us a welcome to the neighborhood gift with sooo many useful goodies. I should be embarrassed to admit this, but I’m not. My last 2 trips to Brownsboro Hardware have been the single highlight of my week each time. Wanna FORGET the world is crazy and not real positive right now? Visit these guys. They’re better than candy.

Great little hardware store the staff goes out of their way to help you something you won't get from the big corporate stores. One of the employees actually walked out to my truck to find the right fittings I needed for a marine toilet. Support your local small stores and shop here

It is a great thing to have a neighborhood hardware store. When I am needing anything from a special glue to advice on different products, this is the place I go. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The personal attention and service is just not there in the big box stores. Not to mention how much easier it is to get in and out of this store than the big box stores.

I love this place. A typical local hardware store where you are greeted with a friendly "can I help you find something"....as soon as you walk in the door. A reminder of the good old days before the national big box stores ran all the local shops out of business.

I don't think I've ever asked for something that they didn't have. Next time I go in I'm going to ask for a left handed garage door widget thing... Just for the fun of it.... They'll probably have one!

I love this store and all the people who work there. Didn't think of going anywhere else to puchase a new gas grill. Kent Dayton assisted me in selecting the perfect model for my needs, a Weber Genesis II and the needed accessories. In a few short days my fully assembled grill was delivered and set up. They even gave me a personal tutorial.

It has been nice, really nice ever since Brownsboro Hardware has moved into the neighborhood. Great selection of product and helpful friendly service. It has eliminated those drives to the big box stores on many occasions. I will always check them first. 5 🌟 all the way!!

Wow. The staff is so helpful and very knowledgeable I brought in an unusual fuse for a generator with almost no markings on it and all of the employees right away had all the details and made sure that I got the right replacement fuse. It’s a whole lot better than taking your Business to a large box chain.

Sometimes the big box stores are the right place to go, but honestly I rarely am not able to find what I'm looking for at Brownsboro Hardware, and that's coming from a very do-it-yourself guy. I make at least one trip a week to pick up this or that for a project at home and there is always a smiling face when you walk through the door. Don't pass this up, support your local hardware store and have a much better experience!

Just bought a Stihl chainsaw. They filled it with gas, added chain oil, registered the warranty and then doubled it when I bought the stihl 50:1 oil mix. We went out back and they showed me how to start and use it! All for less than I would have paid at one of the big box stores. Service, service, service all with a smile. Love these guys and both of their stores.

These hardware stores are absolutely the best. There are always people to help you and they have EVERYTHING you could possibly want. So much nicer than huge big band stores. Always my go to.

very knowledgeable staff. Will work to help you complete even the oddest of projects. Got our weber grill from them, delivered and installed at no charge other than hoses needed to tap into natural gas line.

I went into the store this morning to look at grills. I wanted to get a grill for my husband for our anniversary which happens to be tomorrow. Matt explained to me that they could assemble a new grill for me, deliver it, and take away our old grill. However, we are closing in on both Memorial Day and Father's Day so they were swamped with deliveries. Nevertheless, I bought the grill and told him, if necessary, I would give my husband a picture of the grill, and they could deliver it later. They went out of their way to get the grill here today, and it is now sitting in my garage waiting to surprise my husband. I want to thank everyone there who helped this to happen! What wonderful service!
