Very knowledgeable staff. Told them I was looking for a First R/C truck for my son, and they steered me away from the more expensive ones and suggest a durable but cheaper model. It's been so much fun for him and I both, and we'll be in soon for upgrades and one for me too! Thank you!

I've been coming to this store for Gundam models for 15 years now. In that time I've seen the Gundam section grow from a small little half wall to the back of the whole store. And I've seen the store as a whole grow and prosper. I keep coming back because they keep getting better. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and happy to see me come in. And the Build Night/Day events they host have been a blast.
If you are into any hobby, model building, RC cars, tabletop games, model trains, etc. this is where you gotta go!

I live in Lexington and usually go to the Hobbytown there. I happen to be in Louisville for work and thought I'd see what this store had to offer. Man, this store is a thousand times better than the Lexington store. It's clean, you can see all the products, the staff are great and best of all it DOESN'T SMELL LIKE A POT DESPINCERY. Great store! I'll shop here whenever possible.

Excellent shop for RC! The staff here are very knowledgeable about their product. With their help, I was able to begin an LCG deadbolt build with 4 wheel steering! They answered all my questions and made sure I went out the door with exactly what I needed to get started.

Oh boy! This place is CLASSIC! When I first stepped foot in the shop, I was not only greeted warmly by the staff, but also by the overwhelming sense of nostalgia. I'm not sure how, but this is the same store that I visited with my dad in 1983. I will certainly be going to see these folks for all of my model building needs. I'll be visiting with my kids just so they can have the same experience that I did as a child.
If I could give them more stars, I would.

Place to go to get what ever hobby you have from Legos to build with to rockets remote cars etc..i thought it was really nice little pricey ,but that's everywhere.the staff was very helpful in my needs.

This is one of my best stores to go to for rc cars parts and so much more they are the nicest people you will never talk to they will help you find or Order anything they do or don’t have in the store if I was y’all go here now!!!!

My husband ask them a few things went Christmas shy and these are Very professional an helped with my laundry list of questions these folks are amazing an respectful..I would recommend this place to adults an children grate place..

Great experience. I called about 10 other stores and this one had exactly what I was looking for at the best price with excellent customer service. So thankful for Collin going out of his way to help me find what we needed for our nephew for Christmas!

It's a basic Hobbytown store. Not much different from any other Hobbytown. They did have a good selection, gave us a discount since we were going to be at the model show the next day and we were from out of town and wouldn't be able to take advantage of the after show discount. The staff was also very friendly

Love coming here to get my bf his hobby making needs. The people who work here are also super cool and chill.

Cool place. Very patient & knowledgeable. Great selection of cool stuff. Bought a $300 RC truck for the boy a while back. Hobby town has helped keep it running. We will always come here first. Great people.

Super duper nice. We walked in at closing and didn't know it. They let us look around for nearly ten minutes (helped us look around) before politely letting us know they were closed and we could still stay for a bit. Of course we left and let them close.

Alright, i did write out an earlier review of this place but upon reading it I found it lacking.
So Hobby Town, has to be the best store i've been to yet that had a substantial selection. And the most impressive espect about it. Was how organized they had their kits. Ranging from Grade, to a specific point in the 40 year long gundam franchise. i adore building, and i have been building respectively for about 6 or so years now, started with the HG Zeta gundam evolution line kits. Then moving directly into a f91 mg. But aside from that my point is this place is awesome, and the staff, like one individual that i never got his name but he knew mine which was awesome. He showed interest and overall involvness with the models and showed a side i don't normally get to see in hobby stores. Normally the staff are real quiet yeah they'll help look somethig up but don't really have a common knownlegde about something they sell. I like when employess take the time to learn about their products, Either way. I'm definitly going back, i saw kits that i have never seen online or in other stores before. Really impressed and tickled pink that i finally have a go to model shop here in ole louisville KY. oh they do have the tools from gunpla building like the nippers, filing rods (I think there called something else lol) But they had it all. 12/10. Can't wait for my next visit what gunpla will i buy next lol

Very awesome store with a huge selection of Gunpla! They have rc cars and planes. Prices are very reasonable.

It has a lot of the usually hobbies, trains, planes, star trek but also KAMEN RIDER AND ANIME!
