Biblical sermons. The pastor preaches the Bible according to what it meant to the people at the time of the writing and then make a good application. He doesn't try to interpret the Bible through the lens of modern experience. He understands that modern entertainment has nothing to contribute toward the Bible. He understands that good, biblical preaching is more important than image, unlike a church in the highlands we left two years ago, which attempted to interpret the Bible through the lens of modern-day experience and television shows, as well as removing negative reviews and allowing conflict-of-interest reviews in order to look good (I've done a scathing review of this church, but I will not call it out here.) Simply put, Pastor Tony preaches the Bible and understands that if you draw people to a church using gimmicks, then you have to keep these same people using gimmicks.

In today's uncertain world, we need to stand on the only source of truth - God's Word. After having attended an emotion- driven, seeker-friendly church that synthesized worldly wisdom, Moralistic-Theistic-Mysticism with good works for decades, it's comforting and encouraging to have a two pastors join together who not only expect you to be in the Word, but who preach hard truths found in the Bible, not in worldly wisdom. It's a rarity these days. But it's right here.

But, as Pastor Tony repeatedly says, You've got to read your Bible to know them.
