Great experience here. Everyone has been so helpful and friendly to my wife and I. Dr Herrick and Tiffany worked on my two fillings. Once they understood I am severely allergic to pain they made me very comfortable. Though Dr. Herrick seemed to have to give me 5 times the normal dose of Novocaine. I appreciated that more than anything. I no longer fear the dentist thanks to these folks!

Dr. Shumway is really professional and thorough in his exams. Tiffany was so nice and made me feel comfortable even though the ambiance seemed a bit dark. No natural light or windows. The blonde up front doesn’t seem like she knows what she’s talking about when it comes to dentistry nor cared to help me understand my insurance better. The brunette up front fully explained my treatment plan and my insurance coverage. I felt better after my appointment. 10/10 recommend this group.

My experience at Family Dental has always been incredible. The staff is super friendly and they always put the patient first. Shelby at the front desk is wonderful. I’ve been a patient for years. All the dentists are very good. I normally see Dr. Herrick. Dr. Herrick is the best.

Just want to thank Dr. Mary Herrick for giving me my smile back! I recently got a bridge to replace teeth in front; and absolutely love the way they look. I've been going to Family Dental Associates for over 10 years. Dr. Herrick is always kind and in good spirits. She always seems happy to see me; and I know she is not pretending. You can see in her eyes that she really cares about the well-being of her patients. Dr. Herrick has gentle eyes as well as gentle hands. If I could give 10 stars for this review, I would. The office is ran efficiently and I'm never waiting long to be seen. This dentistry is highly recommended by me.The whole staff is super friendly. I also want to also give a special thanks to Kourtney! She's really sweet. Thanks you Kourtney. You are the best!

Like my hygienist very much. She's so pleasant. My appointments are always on time and will take me back early if I'm already there.

This was my first time at the office they were recommended by the I am dixie highway group on Facebook, I was in pain and they got me in same day!.Every one was so pleasant and sweet from beginning to end and I am extremely fearful of dentists(I'm quite sure he seen it in my face)but I was treated as gentle as possible and I'm looking forward to my treatment plan. I've been tormented by a few dentists(not here in Louisville)but I feel like I've finally found an office I can trust! I can't wait to update!!

I visited Family Dental today due to chipping part of incisor tooth recently. The office made my appointment as quickly as possible, fitting my schedule. Dr. Shumway and the technician did a great job of repairing this broken tooth. The large chip/broken part was quite noticeable but the repair is fabulous and unnoticeable. Thanks, again for taking good care of me!

My friend referred me here years ago. I moved across the bridge but I still go here because they impress me every single time! I’m in and out without any problems…highly recommend!

The people in this practice are all wonderful and caring. I just went through a rather difficult crown replacement. However, Dr Herrick remained positive and persevered until she was satisfied that the crown was right. Also, the office staff has been really been helpful with scheduling and insurance issues.

Joan greeted me first and she was so sweet. Dr Herrick was so nice and bubbly. Dr Herrick and Joan both explained everything they were doing before hand. Dr Herrick let me know what course of action needed to happen and why. They young lady the scheduled my next appointment was very helpful. I will definitely be going back.

Everyone is kind and helpful, your wait is not long, and they do a great job with dental work, they are gentle and patient with their cleints.

My daughters front tooth broke and I called her dentist, they couldn’t get her in and it was an emergency..I called a few others and everyone said “next week” or “in 2 days”..
I needed to have her front tooth fixes asap. She didn’t want to walk around with her front tooth looking that way, kids are cruel ..so o kept calling around. Family Dental Associates got her in the same day and she wasn’t a current patient, and they fixed her tooth the same day as well. Staff was friendly and my daughter said she didn’t feel as much pain as when the other dentist numbed her. I am over all impressed by the way they took care of her and didn’t hesitate to help her the same day. I will be transferring my family to the Family Dental Associates..100% satisfied
