Le Moo

Le Moo is an outstanding restaurant. I have dined in there and ate a great rib eye dinner with my girlfriend. I also work there and have eaten a lot of things on the menu that are amazing. You cannot go wrong with your choice of breakfast, dinner, or appetizers. You are in for a treat. The service is outstanding as well. Come see us and we will give you a great dine in experience.

My wife and I came here for dinner to celebrate a milestone. Mike Smith was an outstanding server, super knowledgeable and extremely kind. The food was outstanding. The steak was one of the best I had in my life. We really had a great time and we would come again.

Went here for brunch on Saturday. Normally, we wouldn't have gone to a steak house so expensive, but we got a gift card for Christmas. They have a great deal on mimosas every day! $1 regular and $3 jumbo mimosas! Our waiter Ed was fantastic and gave us just the right amount of attention! He explained the menu, so it was easy to understand what we were getting and let us know we had plenty of options if we didn't want exactly what was listed. Everything came out as expected and tasted amazing! We will probably go back again.

The portion sizes here can only be described as generous. I would have taken a picture of my brunch, but nobody wants to see an almost finished breakfast burger. That was the children’s size for cereal. What a great experience, and Chays was a wonderful server. We will definitely be back, but we will probably order a little less so we don’t need to bring so much of the wonderful food home.

Everything was fantastic except for one minor detail. We came there for my brother's birthday and notified them of this when the reservation was made prior. Most upscale restaurants will recognize that guest of honor with a small dessert token after dinner service. We felt bad for him. Not even a cookie or mint.

Absolutely wonderful service and equally wonderful food. Would recommend Ryan as the server, knew the menu very well and offered excellent recommendations. The drinks were equally as wonderful along with their allocated bourbon selection.

If I lived in Louisville - this would be my spot. It’s a total vibe. Food, service, decor & $3 mimosas are all 💯!! The steak Eggs Benedict was delicious and worth the $40. I love how the check comes in a romance novel for you to keep (if you like)…

From the minute we walked in for dinner we knew that we were going to be treated very well this evening. It started off with free champagne if we were so inclined. Two of us were having birthdays, and when we got to the table, there was a nice note with a birthday card handwritten with our names.

Our waiter, Dorian took great care of us that evening. The service was wonderful the entire night, and were very friendly. The decor was relaxing and well thought out, and the seats were comfortable.

We each had different dishes for dinner, and while two in the party were vegetarians, the chef accommodated them well. The Chef is certainly an expert at his art. The fillet with baked potato was excellent and very high-quality meat and tender as well. Many steak options as one would expect. The New York strip was equally delicious and both were cooked exactly as we requested. The lima beans sautéed in their sauce was a nice treat, and I was tempted to order another helping. The beef stroganoff was very flavorful with plenty of beef and noodles and a delicious mushroom sauce. This was a very popular hit. Even the salads were put together very well With plenty of vegetables and delicious ranch dressing, homemade, of course. Even the hamburger was about as flavorful as you could get. It even had an option with a piece of ham on top, which is something you don’t usually see. The crème brûlée was a big hit with everyone, and the nice happy birthday note with a candle was a nice touch. The hint of orange added to the flavor as well.

Considering the high-quality of food, service, and decor, I think the prices are reasonable. They even had a special discount for the person, celebrating their birthday, which was substantial and very surprising. Some of us had food to take home and they boxed it up for us and kept it upfront at the desk to pick up as we left. Even had some fresh saltwater taffy in many flavors as we left. This was my first visit here, but won’t be my last, and I look forward to celebrating birthdays here in the future. They have something for everyone.

I cannot recommend le moo highly enough. The atmosphere is amazing. I’d call it hunting lodge chic. The furnishing are stylish and comfortable. Our server was polite and attentive. My wife and I were in on a Monday morning, so it was pretty slow. I got the steak and eggs (Supremoo) and a plain waffle. She had the love love me do. The food was outstanding. Mine was a great cut and perfectly cooked medium as I ordered. The eggs were cooked to sunny exctly and were nice and runny. There were plenty of gluten free options, as well. My wife doesn’t tolerate gluten well, so that was really important to us. I hope to be back!

Really good food and outstanding service! Le Moo was busy this Saturday evening, but that did not hinder our dinner experience. Catie was our server. She was attentive and made great recommendations. I had the steak Diane and felt it was a tremendous value for the cut of steak and flavor of the dish. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his dry aged bone-in ribeye. The blue ribbon espresso cake was a chocolate treat that was large enough to be shared, I'll be sure to try Catie's recommendation of the Grand Mariner Crème Brûlée on my next visit. All in all, a wonderful date night.

Visited during a slow time so we had our amazing waiter, Ed, all to ourselves! Half members of the party did breakfast, and the other half did lunch. ALL PARTOOK IN YUMMY MIMOSAS AND BEER. Had the queso with pork rinds and tortilla chips. Order the chicken and waffle with regular waffle, just our recommendation. If Ed shows you the beer water boarding, then you’re cool. Thanks so much for an awesome and delicious time!

When planning a night out with a large group of friends or colleagues, you’ll certainly be shelling out a few shiny pennies, so choose your restaurant carefully.
I’m confident that our evening at LeMoo was an absolute Bullseye.
We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar before being seated at our table. Their large selection of cocktails, from bourbons to wines, will satisfy everyone’s pallet.

Our evening began with our host, Mike Smith, a bon vivant who is also a master chef himself. Mike Smith had prepared an off menu course for our party that covered sea to farm. His attention to detail in the preparation of our meals was quite exquisite, The fresh king crab legs, jumbo prawns, and perfectly prepared buttery scallops were splendid.
LeMoo offers the finest selection of cuts, and my evenings choice was a perfectly prepared, 16oz prime strip, covered in crab and topped with a flavorful asparagus.

I’ve had my share of steak from all over the country, and LeMoo had just become a favorite, and a must when visiting “The Ville”.
Mike Smith was the perfect host for our dinner party, so I recommend that when you go, make sure you ask for Mike Smith as his presentation and service is second to none!

This was all around an amazing experience. Our server, Andrew, was phenomenal! Wonderful food, service, & atmosphere. We will definitely be returning to Le Moo!

What a great place. The tomahawk was wonderful. We split it, and it was more than enough. Cooked perfectly. The chocolate cake and creme berle were also really good. Great wine selection, but I stayed with the old fashion. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Exceptional place to eat in the greater Louisville Kentucky area! Wonderful service from Ed, with truly stellar service to me and my family. Don’t miss going here if you’re in the area! Top notch food and plenty of portions! We had gone here for a Sunday brunch and did not disappoint! Highly recommended eatery. This was also our first time going here from a family recommendation. Glad we went!

Came here today with 10 people. Service has been great and food overall good. Because of being with 10 people the food wasn't hot. Just warm. I believe if the food was hot, it would have been delicious not just good overall. The bread is definitely worth getting.

Went to LeMoo with my husband for date night. They had so many good steak options. We started with beef tartare and then got steaks ! Steaks cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. We loved the atmosphere and service was wonderful.

This dry aged A5 was insanely good. Best meal we had in Louisville!

Our first time eating here and it was wonderful! Everyone was so nice right from walking in the door! Offered champagne and told about all the steaks as we went to our seats. Food was delicious! Steaks cooked perfectly. We will definitely be going back!!

We came for brunch Monday morning during our stay Louisville. We had reservations as soon as they opened, but really didn't need them. However, the tables filled quickly in the first hour. I tried the coffee martini which was served with three coffee beans floating on top. Not too sweet and nice strong coffee liquor flavor. We ordered the candied bacon with gravy. I had never had bacon with gravy, it was amazing! I got the sweet potato waffle and chicken. The waffle was lightly crisped on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken was boneless (a plus for me) and had a nice crispy batter. It paired perfectly with the bourbon butter and Frank's Red Hot infused syrup. My boyfriend tried one of the omelets and raved about the five mushroom blend. We got the pecan pie cheesecake for dessert. It was rich and decadent and we were happy we decided to split it. My only negative was that our apolstered chairs were kind of dingy and in desperate need a a good cleaning.

The check was brought out tucked in a old romance novel, which I thought was really cool and a great use of repurposing.
