Can't recommend these guys enough. They do fantastic work at a fair price and are extremely trustworthy. My family has been coming here for 20 years and I like this place so much I won't even buy a car if it's one they don't work on. Thank you all!

My car had a persistent check engine light issue and I called Chad at Huestis Auto Service. They were able to take my car the following day, run the appropriate tests and reset code. Amazingly, no reason for light activation! In contrast, the dealers contacted were scheduling out several days and quoted $100 MORE for just a code check than Chad charged for test on Evap system. 10/10! Honest, quick, helpful. They tell you what you need and do not try to over sell you anything. They explained everything and are extremely reasonably priced. Another chain wanted to charge me more than $30 for an oil change. I got an oil change and tire rotation for less than just the oil change at the other place. Highly recommend them and will be coming back for sure!

This is the first mechanic that I've gone to that has not tried to rip me off or try to tell me a bunch of things that were wrong with my truck that were not. I went there because I had an issue with a lot of oil being lost. I did a lot of research on this matter and I determined what I thought the issue to be. I dropped my truck off told them what was going on and let it lie. The next day my truck was ready and they told me exactly the issue that I thought it was and they suggested some other things that it could be if the first fix does not work. They seem like good people that work there. They seem like honest hard-working blue-collar people men that aren't trying to rip people off. I will take my truck there and any other car there as long as I live in Louisville. I suggest anyone to bring their car there. They are busy but they are efficient and they will get the job done or at least be honest with you so you can make your own decisions. Judging from my experience I would not believe the one-star reviews. That person seems like a hater or a troll. Probably the competition that likes to rip people off.

Man they are the only people I ever take my car to. They are honest, polite, and always take care of the problem. I would trust them to do anything with my cars. They've done major work for me before, and small things too. Once my heat was out. They could have charged me whatever they wanted and told me what ever the wanted. It was a loose wire and the charged me $15. That was the moment I knew I had found a good mechanic.

Performed evac and charge on my AC and got my car back in one day. So honest and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. They came highly recommended to me, and I definitely would like to pass that recommendation to you.

How simple is it! You treat people right, you give them a fair price, and they come back! How obvious is this? Apparently it’s not very obvious to a lot of other service centers in the area. Heustis is my go to place when it comes to all things car! As a woman coming in alone, most mechanic places can be intimidating. We don't usually know exactly what we need done to our vehicles or what the proper price should be. Going to Heustis I always feel they are being honest and sincere with me and just want to help. If I could give more then 5 stars I would!

I took my car in for an oil leak and when they couldn't figure out the specific location of the leak, without taking apart the car so I couldn't drive it, they were upfront and honest about it. I was told, showed where they saw oil leaking, and quoted pricing for two estimated causes of the oil leak. There was no pressure to make a decision to do either. They are very courteous and answered my questions completely. When I decided to do neither since exact cause couldn't be determined and one of the estimates was more than what my car is worth they treated me with respect. I would recommend them to anyone. Honest, friendly, respectful, and helpful!

Mr Heustis and his team are excellent mechanics and I am always greeted with a smile. I have had numerous repairs and maintenance done there, and I always receive a fair price for the work done. I highly recommend.

I recommend them for anything. I have taken my cars there for about 8 years and they have always been honest, reliable, and do great work. I have never had any problems using them as a trustworthy mechanic. Always nice and very friendly.

I drive 33 miles to have my cars serviced at Heustis Service Center. They do excellent work. If they can't fix it they tell you. They don't take advantage of people by finding unnecessary repairs. They explain the problem and what they have to do to fix it. Very reputable people.

Our car had the brake system indicator light on the dashboard go off, a potential problem you do not ignore. But when I went to drop the car off the next morning, no warning lights or anything. The folks at Heustis still took a look and, more to the point, didn't try to sell us on any repairs we didn't need. That's how you earn repeat business.

Did what they promised.
My daughter is far away in Louisville going to College. Her car wouldn't start last week and I was helpless to fix it. On the advice of a friend she took it here to Heustis and they fixed it. She not only got it fixed, she now has a mechanic! From a dad, it is huge to have a mechanic that you can rely upon. Thank you!
