Burger Bar

I’m from down south Louisiana. Let me tell you down there, we can cook a burger. But this burger, coming from Utah, wow! Out of this world! I don’t know what made it so good, the service, the good weather I got to sit out in while I waited for my meal, or the fact my boyfriend took me on a date and paid for my burger, but I was big cheesing the whole time. When I got my burger, my heart stopped. Looking at that delicious Big Ben cheese burger I just knew I was in for a treat. Wow, 10 out of 10.
Oh, and I almost forgot, the buns! Wow, something else! Delicious, soft, melt in your mouth. Outstanding.
Great for a date! Going to beg my man to take me back.

My boyfriend got the boar burger and whenever they asked us dog freaking out if we wanted the regular toppings, we said sure. We honestly were just expecting the basic tomato and lettuce, but whenever we received the burger, we weren’t expecting the sunny side up egg!!! Absolutely loved his burger, and loved his onion rings. Not a single complaint came from him, and he is always picky.
Just absolutely so impressed. Thank you burger bar we will be back.

Oh almost forgot…we got the black berry shake. Delicious and made with real fruit!!

This place is very nostalgic, brings me to my childhood! It's a fun place to grab some food, sit outside and relax. Its more common than not for people get their food and eat outside on the cement benches, in their car or in chairs by their car that they bring. The joint has a different random meat of the month which makes it even more exciting to go back! We have tried alligator, rabit, elk, Buffalo, antelope, boar and Kangaroo! The pictures here are Rabit and Beef.

Recommended to try the monthly exotic meat.
We got the chance to test the wild boar for May 2024.

It’s a great spot that has lots of memories!

Saw this on Triple D (S3, E12) and decided if I ever got close, I would visit. Went twice in 2 days. Good Burger, Great Onion Rings.

Even with a long line, it moved faster than we expected. The staff is so polite. The food was amazing. I had a bison burger, my husband had the kangaroo burger, and my daughter had a cheese burger kids meal. The buns were so soft and delicious. The burgers were cooked perfectly. The fries and onion rings were great. I wish we could have tried the fried mushrooms, but they sold out. The shakes were awesome. The food to price ratio was definitely worth it. We will be going back! I can't wait to try more of the menu!! The biggest downside is parking because of how packed it gets, and people will bring fold out chairs and take up more room in the dirt parking lot. Either way worth it!!

First time here and WOW! 10/10! We have been wanting to try their exotic meat of the month, and we went in when it was Yak.

First impression: that's a huge
YAK burger (cooked to perfection)! You could easily share it with someone. I love the nostalgic feeling I got from being here and looking at their menu. It honestly has a little hit for everyone. You can find anything from shakes to onion rings to fish. And of course, their "exotic meat of the month"

We went in on a Friday afternoon, and it was a bit busy, but the staff was wonderful and had great recommendations for us to try.

For those of you visiting Hill AFB, this is only 5-8 minutes away.

I can't wait to come back again and try more items from their menu.

Burger Bar makes it's own statement and totally wins at it. Walk up ordering on busy 1900 with mostly cement fixtures to sit on. And the patrons just keep showing up, polite, eager, hungry.
The food is classic Americana fast food. The people behind the window seem to be from the 50s all smiley, polite, friendly, and eager to please.
For a first time, I was left very satisfied and eager to return and try more menu items

This place is amazing! I love how this place seems like its straight out of the past, with great food, great service, and such an amazing atmosphere! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and fries with drink, and I was definitely not let down! The price was reasonable compared to other restaurants but the size of the chicken patty FAR outweighs any other place at all! The chicken patty was LARGE, the meat was juicy and tender, not overcooked, and the fries were so good! I will definitely be going back here again when I get a chance!

I ordered a BLT and french fries. Let me tell you, that BLT was THE BEST I've ever had in my entire life! The French fries were also so yummy, no one seems to make them like that anymore. So good. Hoping to come back soon.

On the way to North Ogden we stopped off in Roy to visit #BurgerBar since 1956 it’s been a institution, that is over 60 years! It’s a walk up window and wait, which I find fun. They are known for their unique meat burgers like #elk #buffalo #alligator etc. it was also featured on #dinersDriveInsandDives so of course I had to visit. I went with the #BigBenSeaBurger it was ok. Good #tartarsauce but just a standard fish burger. The thing that made the fish burger memorable was the House made bun. Yes they bake their own buns which I appreciated. Mum got a cheeseburger with the house made bun baked daily. We split a couple of great sides. They hand make their own #onionrings and #deepFriedMushrooms Both were excellent. They have a great batter, and came out hot and crispy. The sides were even great a couple days later as warmed up leftovers, Which is a rarity for diner food. The French fries were fresh, crispy and good. All the sides came with plenty of Fry Sauce. We also enjoyed soft serve shakes, Which were a relief on a very hot day. The cup kept the shakes cold for several hours. They have many flavor choices, I went with the fresh Lime. Next time I’ll need to try the more exotic meat to go with the great onion rings and mushrooms. I will be happy to return as I love old time famous places like this.

"A Classic" "An Original" "A Must Try" These all apply to the Burger Bar in Roy! This is old school at it's best! Don't let the lines keep you from trying their Big Ben! They are very quick, and the lines move fast.

This is a local favorite. Their Big Cheese Ben with Onion rings instead of fries are to die for. The shakes are FABULOUS too. They have a few "Old Fashion" classics that only the locals know to order. Stop by and eat at this hidden gem in Roy. The locals LOVE IT. Even in the winter when it's cold this place still gets busy, it's because it's so darn YUMMY!!! GIVE Burger Bar a try you'll be glad you did.

This place always has amazing food. I recommend the bison or elk burgers, but anything from here is great, and always cooked to order, so there is a small wait. Totally worth it

Would rate this higher if I could! The Steak Ben is to die for!! The most delicious steak sandwich I've ever had, steak melts in your mouth. The fries are extra salty so I loved that. Shakes and burgers were great as well! Definitely going to go back to try some chicken and fish sandwiches too

This is a fun place to eat with quick service and good food. They have unique meats which is fun. I took a group for a church activity and the boys with me enjoyed bison burgers. Not only did it have the burger but came with a large fries. I got a camel burger which was pretty tasty. Has the feel of an old time diner. They also make great shakes.

Burger Bar has to be, HANDS DOWN one of the best drive-in’s I’ve ever visited. I’ve grown up eating here and have brought many friends just to have one of their big Ben’s, tenders or meat of the month! It’s literally a special place that has so much character, taste and community. If you ever visit, definitely get a shake with your meal. Will always hold a place in my heart and I’ll come back any chance I get!

Love the food, service is always great. Ran by good people. There is a reason why it made it on Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. It can be a little noisy, with the road and speakers, but it's worth it.

This place was pretty dang good. I'm almost positive their buns are homemade. The ambiance was super cool / old-school. I love walking up to the window to order. These types of places bring back a different more slow-paced feeling.

Best burger place in Utah point blank, period. The meat of the month is always so cool, but I'm a tried and true fan of the elk burger. I highly recommend getting yourself a few extra fry sauces because of great they are, and make sure to get yourself a shake to go with your food because they are AWESOME.
