Hard Five stars. Specials are always on point. Never had a bad meal here. Matt uses the best quality ingredients, and masterful technique to make superb meals. Most people do carry out, but you can eat in.

The food is awesome, the staff is awesome - enough said. I usually get takeout which takes about 15-20 minutes, it’s always worth the wait. The dining area is subtle so it isn’t the fanciest place to sit down for dinner but the food makes up for it. I ordered Chicken salad sandwiches (14-15$) and a crab cake (7$) last time. For dinner tonight I ordered the Lobster Mac (20$) & Espresso cake (8$) for dessert. Everything taste great, the lobster Mac had about 10 large lobster chunks so I’d say it was worth the price. The crab cake was amazing you can tell it was made with real crab. 🦀

I tried Gourmet Provisions for the first time today. I bought the lobster rolls for myself and my son. I also got a bowl of the lobster bisque. I was greeted in a most friendly manner as soon as I walked in!
Let me preface this by stating that my wife and I have just returned from a four-month stay in New England.... New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts... and we had some great lobster rolls out there. I know how they should be. Gourmet Provisions did not disappoint! I thoroughly enjoyed the lobster rolls and the bisque. Well worth the price!!! There was a lot of lobster packed into that roll....fresh, flavorful, and very impressive! If you've never had one before (like my son!), let me tell you that this is the way it should be done!
The bisque had a great texture and flavor, not to mention a lot of lobster chunks!!
The online ordering process is simple and you get to choose the time that you pick it up. Very easy!
I'm looking forward to trying more selections from their extensive menu, but I'll have a hard time looking past those lobster rolls!!

Fantastic experience.

Ordered my dinner about 4 hours in advance. Left specific instructions concerning a dietary restriction and it was followed and mentioned when picking up the food.
Steak was cooked perfectly with ability to taste the flavorful marinade. Served with twice baked potato and asparagus, for the entree. Lobster bisque was first course, and beyond amazing. Can really taste the sherry and nice chunks of lobster.
Dessert was lemon blueberry cake... so incredibly good.

The only negative was i had set it up as curbside delivery; but, i had to go inside to retrieve my meal after no one came to my car.

If you haven't eaten here, you're missing out. Some of the best food I've ever had in Louisville. The fried chicken, lobster mac and cheese, and patty melt are all delicious and they always have so many desserts to choose from. If you're thinking about getting the lobster mac and cheese, do it. There was even more lobster that you can't see under all the pasta. Amazing food every time

If you haven't ate here yet, you have given yourself a great disservice. Matt and his team here are phenomenal, and have some of the best food in Louisville. He also provides comedic relief on their Facebook page, so I urge you to explore his online menu and order immediately. We have purchased the Filet Mignon family special multiple times, and are blown away by how tender the steak is and the mouth watering twice baked potatoes. Don't forget the portions, you get your money's worth. Tonight, we tried the pork with candied carrots and potatoes. It was delicious, perfectly seasoned and plenty of food for leftovers. 10/10.

Don't be fooled by the strange location (in a strip mall in the suburbs!) and the very low-key interior: the food here is amazing!! We've enjoyed everything we've tried, but the seafood dishes in particular are incredible. Favorite was the she crab soup and the special (Seafood Newburg). They are generous portions and they don't skimp on the seafood as other places sometimes do. Planning to go back and try their lobster roll sometime :)

Just made my first (of Many!) visits. I got the Italian sandwich with a side of Brussels sprouts. The sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, but can we talk about the Brussels sprouts for a minute? They were otherworldly! I honestly don't know how they got that much flavor into a tiny cabbage. I ate the entire generous portion and wanted more. I left half a sandwich in favor of stuffing myself full of sprouts.

If, like me, you have only ever seen this place from the outside and thought "Is that some kind of restaurant or what?" I assure you.. it is and you really do want it.

Chef Matt knocked the wings out of the park! Whole wings and not some toothpicks that certain chain restaurants offer. The sauce was delicious, they didn't have a wall of sauce to choose from, just their Buffalo sauce. I look forward to trying other menu items in the future and respect the freshness of the food ordered!

This place is a kitchen you can visit to indulge. Filled with professional cooks of different cuisines. They don't shake fingers- they shook hands. Beautiful. Not often you find a place like this. They make food from a differing field- of views; and make judicial agreements on the best possible outcome.

Amazing. My mom has told me about this place for years. I've just tried it for the first time. Hands down, best meatloaf I've ever had. Green beans and mashed potatoes amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Wow, just happened to see this place when I was nearby, and ventured in to check it out.
The food is amazing! I ordered the House Salad, seafood bisque, and blueberry cake (the slice is a very generous portion that can easily be shared!). Great service and great food! Will definitely be back.
Edit: I forgot to mention the wonderful warm sourdough bread.
Everything was made in-house, quality ingredients, and NO MSG. :D Super happy with this place.

This is not the place for you if you are looking for a fancy dine in venue. However, I have never had a bad meal here and have had several that were spectacular. Service has always been prompt and friendly.

My Employer wanted to treat the staff to lunch in order to celebrate a successful holiday season. Being a locally owned business, we wanted to support a restaurant in our area. To say we collectively were impressed is an understatement. You could tell every ingredient was fresh, and there was thought put into each item on their menu. I can assure you we will be using Gourmet Provisions in the future!!

Atmosphere- it's a take out place -- even tho there are a couple tables. GREAT FOOD!!! FAST SERVICE. Web site not so great - apparently specials etc are on fb which I'm not on. otherwise GREAT.

One of the most innovative dining experiences in Louisville is this outstanding hole in the wall take out restaurant. Their day to day menu is excellent, but, boy oh boy the specials!
Tonight I had "Hot Pockets" filled with goose and Brie with a Grand Marnier orange marmalade.
This is a Louisville treasure, you won't be disappointed I promise.

Simply amazing. We live 45 min from this restaurant so we have been a little reluctant to try it. But the brisket family meal drew us out to give it a try. And wow. Try them, you won't regret it.

My wife and I had them make our anniversary dinner because we didn't want to eat out due to COVID. The meal was DELICIOUS and the customer service was exceptional as well. Very interesting and unique concept and we will definetly be trying them again.

The food was top notch, great flavors and quality. Crab Rangoon was amazing!

Had the shrimp po boy and lobster bisque. The pistolet bread was fantastic and made the sandwich. The bisque was so creamy and yummy...but rich, so I had to split into 2 servings.
