One of my favorite Brunch Spots! It’s such a vibe and the environment & atmosphere is nice! We just had the Smoked Trout Board, Honey Bee Latte, and Mimosas! The Smoked Trout was amazing and the Sourdough complimented it very well! The Shroom N’ Grits sounded very tempting but we wanted something light but I will try it next time! One day we might give their B&B a go just for a nice relaxed getaway!

Lived up to the hype! Just was really glad we were in town through a Monday … tried Sunday and it was a 90 min wait, today we sat right down. Delicious Kentucky Croque, Trout Dip, and simple salad. Only minus - I really wanted a Diet Coke. Friendly staff and accommodating. Street parking plentiful.

I popped in here around 10am on a Sunday and can definitely see it's a popular spot. Luckily, there was one seat at the bar for me (~45 min wait otherwise). Service was lightning fast, though. The drink menu is better/more interesting than most coffee shops; they had a matcha series that day, and I went with the iced ginger matcha latte. It was pretty solid and subtly sweet, so the flavors stood out. They have a very solid brunch menu I'd get several things from, but I settled on the smoked trout board. All around, that dish was exceptional, and everything coming out of the kitchen looked good. Quality seems to exceed price here, and I'll happily stop by again the next time I'm in town.

Wow! I’m thrilled to have found this gem for my group of friends and I. Though there was quite a wait (over an hour), we enjoyed beverages outside the restaurant. Staff was friendly, accommodating and service was fast. The drinks are unique, with healthy spins on the classics. I was surprised to find matcha lattes, golden milk and fresh juices. When we were finally seated, we did not have to wait long for our wonderful brunch to arrive. Every dish was prepared with love and the biscuits and gravy was the best we have ever had as well as the grits. You will not be disappointed. Send someone ahead to wait for a table to make the seating time easier.

I got the Matcha French Toast. I was a bit skeptical about it. I thought with the marscapone it would be unbearably sweet, but the fresh berries balanced it out. It was rich and heavy. Very filling. Highly recommend. My partner had the Family Meal with a side of bacon. It was a small bowl but large in flavor. Recommended if you want a SMALL bite or if you are pairing with sides.

Drinks: iced tea peter pan and sorghum coffee wasn't a big fan either.

A HAUS AWAY FROM HOME

We were in Louisville for 10 days and went here for about 9 of them. We loved it so much that 2 of our party actually moved in upstairs.

This little cafe is a total gem and something I truly wish I could bring back home with me.

Is has a very European feel mixed with deeply southern routes making it a one of a kind experience. (And one us Londoner’s felt at home at)

I tried a lot of the menu and was blown away by all of it (especially the shrooms and grits).

A big shout to the legends who work there who went above and beyond to recommend other places and activities and genuinely made our trip a richer experience.

If I am ever back in Louisville, I know where I’m staying :)

This is a lovely German style bistro. Our lattes were excellent. The inside is small and the seats are all nestled around the open kitchen, so you can really smell when the butter hits the pan. The "ugly frittata" came with seasonal greens on top; it was filling and savory.
There are step stairs to get in the front door. I didn't see if there was a wheelchair ramp. When you walk in, you receive a menu and are seated, but to order, you go back to the counter to place your order.
It's cozy and fun.

The food is delicious! So fresh and tasty.
I enjoyed the Eggs & Grains, a latte with oat milk and followed by the Best Darn Coffee Cake. Was it? Well, it is sweet, lots of sugar, it’s like a crumble cake. But pretty good overall. I prefer denser cake. The service was very good, diligent staff, refilling your water glass, and removing your dishes, I just wish they took our order at the table, as it’s nice to be served fully at your table.

Wonderful breakfast and coffee menu, had the KY Croque and the Burrata Toast, both were delicious. The Sorghum Latte was delightfully earthy and not sweet, one of the best Lattes I’ve had. We were traveling and found Gralehaus, thx Google, fantastic local spot, host was helpful, got us seated at the bar and explained how service worked. The counter ordering was easy and made sense as the space is tight and might be a bit chaotic if the space was competing with service staff.

Ultra tasty, cozy lunch in Louisville! Arrive early, or you may have to wait - thankfully there was seating next door out of the cold and snow!

A little difficult to find as signage doesn’t draw your attention to this lovely breakfast/brunch restaurant. It also serves as a B&B! Offers outdoor dinning in the back garden or front porch of the restored Victorian home. Don’t be afraid to try any of the menu items. On the menu recently, we enjoyed biscuits and gravy. It is the perfect combination of savory and sweet! The ugly frittata offers a small arugula salad and underneath crispy potatoes-fluffy eggs seasoned and cooked to perfection. So savory!
Wonderful friendly service. Order and pay at the open kitchen. Left with coffee and lavender latte to go! Wonderful find! A must stop on our next pass through from Indiana to our Southern Vacation spots! These are the places you would miss if you use planes to get to your destinations!

Delicious. Enjoyed the breakfast, lattes were okay but breakfast was where it was at. Everything tasted fresh and was well made. This place is smaller so there is usually a wait list. The space is cozy and darker. Parking is street parking unless you can find space in a near by parking lot.

Food, service, and atmosphere were all nothing short of perfect on our visit. For brunch, this spot is everything you want it to be. Some entrees leaned toward the healthier side and I greatly appreciate that. My only word of caution is that the dining area is not large which can result in significant wait times. Highly recommend this excellent experience.

Some real quality food served here, wow!
The eggs & grains were so colorful and fresh, the frittata was deliciously filling & hearty!
Hannah, Brianna and Carson offered superior customer service to boot!
Thanks for an amazing brunch experience.

As locals in the neighborhood, this is our go-to brunch spot and in my view has THE best brunch, drink, and coffee menus for a sit down brunch experience in Louisville. Every meal I’ve had here has been nothing short of excellent. In the summer, the outdoor patio is a lovely spot.

Just be sure to get there early to avoid a wait! But if you can’t, the wait is worth it!

They know how to deliver exceptional service and an excellent menu!

The staff are very friendly and the menu offers a great variety of healthy options and all of their food is made in house!

It’s a beautiful Victorian-style home built in the early 1900’s. It reminded me of walking back in time!

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a quiet and cozy atmosphere.

Place opened at 9:00. We walked in at 9:02 and it was already full. We were fortunate to get a seat at the bar. We had the Kentucky Croque and Hibiscus French toast. Both were amazing!!

The food was so good here. So glad my wife and I popped in for breakfast! Only issue was the steamer was down so no fufu coffee (the wife was sad). Definitely check it out for a good brunch.

I've yet to try something here that wasn't incredible- highly reccomend the biscuits and gravy or the ugly frittata. So good!
The inside is adorable but nothing beats sitting out in the garden area when the weather is nice.
