Great Flood Middletown

We shared a house burger and fries. I asked for the burger to be cooked medium and it was! That rarely happens anywhere. Food was very good. Surprised they weren’t more busy on Friday night but enjoyed the relatively quiet atmosphere as a result.

Very comfortable spot with a good beer selection and broad food menu. Beers were really tasty and distinctive, flights were reasonably priced. Burgers are made with local farm beef, fries are house-made, and everything tasted fresh. Lots of delicious house made toppings on the burger as well - no prefab stuff. Service was very good as well. I'd go back when in Louisville!

I'm so glad I stopped here. The Yazoo Malt Mexican lager and the fish tacos are all delicious. There's a guy jammin' on the acoustic guitar. The atmosphere is awesome. This is a great place to grab a craft beer and a bite especially on a Saturday night.

This was an amazing meal. There were so many items on the starter menu that looked amazing so we just went with several of those starters and sides. Everything was hot and delicious. We went here on a random selection and I can’t wait to go back.

Wanted to try the new kid on the block for restaurants in Middletown. Did a pickup for a late lunch. The staff working at the time was awesome. Got me in and out with no problem at all.

Picked up the Pretzel and Beer Cheese for an appetizers. This has to be the best Beer Cheese in LOUISVILLE! The Pretzels were soft and warm and a fan-TASTIC flavor by themselves.

For my entrée I picked up the Cheeseburger Mac and Cheese. Opening it up it smells just like a cheeseburger tastes. I love how ever item you would see on a traditional burger is diced so evenly and spread over the baked mac and cheese so you get the same FANTASTIC flavor in ever bite.

If I could give them a 10 out of 5 I would. Anyone in the Middletown area need to give this place a try. It will not disappoint!

Food was fantastic! Waitress was super nice, and the atmosphere was terrific. Perfect spot for date night and families too!

We stopped in later on a Sunday night and grabbed some flight an a quick bite. Asher was knowledgeable about the beers and was very helpful with food selections. They have some great beers on tap and my wife's Key Lime Pie drink was on point. We ordered their Italian sandwich and it was impressive. The best part was the regular fries. They are a cross between fries and chips, they were a perfect cross between the two. Not as filling as fries but with all the taste. If you're by this place, give it a shot.

The service here has always been good. Friendly staff and they make a killer cheeseburger, top it with a Kentucky lemonade and you're set.

I really like this place ! The food is great and the live music is usually really good ! The beer is always cold and they have a great selection.

Took our family of 5 out for dinner, greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in, very welcoming, our waitress was Leslie, she was awesome! Very friendly, recommend the burger which I ordered and loved! Delicious! Leslie engaged in conversation with everyone at the table and seemed to enjoy her job, it was refreshing ! We will be back

Food was delicious. Got shrimp tacos, sweet potato fries, and a saison. Staff was friendly.

Words can’t describe how good this buffalo chicken mac n cheese was. Worth every single penny. Hearty and delicious.

The food, the atmosphere, and the service are really fantastic! The owner Nick is super attentive, always happy to get you whatever you need in order to be a satisfied customer. We sat at the bar and all of our service encounter were filled with kind smiles and polite interactions. We'll definitely be coming back!

My husband and I really liked Great Flood. Our burgers were really good. The fries were great and our cocktails were strong. We'll definitely be back. The atmosphere is very warm and it has a good vibe. Our waiter, Anthony, was terrific!

My daughter and I dined in there on Sunday afternoon. She has been talking about this place every time we talk, so naturally I wanted to try it with her. I must say, I was not disappointed at all! The food was quite good, the prices were right too, but the service we got from Sarah was AMAZING! Sarah looked so familiar, probably because she has a kindness and sincere look about her, like what we'd like to see in everyone we meet in life! Anyway, I will dine here again, and ask to be seated in whatever section Sarah is attending to. Being a single dad of a 14 year old daughter, I'm appreciative of any good new memories I can make with my kiddo! Thank you Great Flood, for the experience, and a special big thanks to Sarah! 😊

Loved our lunch at Great Flood in Middletown today. The server was wonderful (young blonde woman) - I’m pregnant and couldn’t have a beer so she brought me fizzy water and so many lemons and limes - it was wonderful. The food was great! Had a salad and a couple of apps and couldn’t have been happier. My husband had their porter and it was amazing.

Overall the best part of our visit was genuinely the service. Good people, great suggestions for food, and generosity with fruits! Ha.

Really enjoyed the new location. Excellent food selection. The "peeled" french fries were awesome. Perfect blend of crunchy and soft. Taking over the old Wicks building and really opening it up was a great choice, including adding the second side to the bar.

Update: been going for awhile now. Still the same great place. Trivia night on Thursdays brings in a great crowd. Still a top spot to go to for Middletown area for me.
