Absolutely the best! Mark is top notch and does consistent, excellent work. Atmosphere makes you want to hang out there all day. I will bring both my boys here for cuts until I die.

I have been going here for a couple years and seeing Adam McCubbin for longer. Best haircut I’ve ever had and always consistent. The other barbers there are always super nice and very welcoming. I love this barbershop and will continue to come here

I always get a good haircut here. The people are always very nice and it's a nice atmosphere too. My only complaint is that the prices seem egregiously high, but it's like that anywhere. Just expect to pay $30+ for a haircut. Other than that this is a great place for haircuts.

Mike at the Middletown location has been my Barber for a few years now and he's always gone a great job and is very personable, I always appreciate his hard work and friendliness. All of the people that work there are also very friendly and make for a great atmosphere - my only gripe is that I wish they would install sound dampening panels because there's so much conversation and laughter that I can't hear what I'm saying at times.

Husbands hair looking super fine! Friendly staff and a great welcoming barber. After many failed attempts I think we found our place! Best Barber in Louisville hands down! Love the atmosphere.

Great experience. I’ve been here twice since switching from another place in Middletown. It’s reasonably priced, has great barbers/stylists and it’s easy to book your time and barber online. It’s obviously run by someone’s that’s a class act.

I’ve been calling Adam M. my barber for quite a few years now. Though I know him well personally, I do not carry any bias when I say he is the best barber I’ve had cut my hair. I give my money to people who do well for me. He does an outstanding job for me and every other client I’ve seen him work with. He consistently nails it when it comes to my high skin fades. I have yet to get even close to a good result with my haircuts from anyone else I’ve had to go to. On top of that, he is focused, passionate, and loves what he does which is reflected. I highly recommend scheduling with him and this shop.

I have been cutting my own hair for about 15 years. I just didn't think it was super complicated. On a whim, my wife suggested that I go somewhere and let someone else do it. I wasn't really expecting a whole lot, but after coming here I decided I would never cut my own hair again.

Love the ease of hopping online and selecting an appointment time. They do great in staying punctual. I know that if I have an appointment at 10am, that I will be sitting in the chair at 10am.

I have had different barbers cut my hair and been more than pleased with each, so it is hard to pick a favorite. If you are unsure about who to setup an appointment with, just select the first available and you won't be disappointed.

Overall, I just dig the atmosphere. It didn't feel like some big box corporate hair salon, which I love. I felt so comfortable there the entire time and the entire staff was very welcoming. Not to mention I was more than pleased with the hair cut and beard trim that they did. It was so nice to have someone else do it after I had been doing it for so long. And they are clearly pros because they did far better than I could.

Handsome Fellows is the perfect place to get a cut. It's a good location and easy to schedule online. Adam M. has been cutting my hair for around 5 years. I can tell he really cares about the quality of his work. I've got to know him over the years and he is a really solid dude. I always feel so much more confident after leaving with my fresh cut.

Went there this morning. Great shop and great cut by Mark. He’s a true professional barber. Strongly recommend!

Originally wrote this 5 star review after my first cut with Ryan but it needs an update.

I have now been a consistent biweekly customer for nearly 2 years now. I never have once been disappointed with a cut from Ryan. Every time I walk in the doors I know I will leave with a good cut and a smile on my face from the good times and conversation in the shop with Ryan and the rest of the crew. If you are looking for a barber or have ANY complaints about your current barber you need to make the change over to Handsome Fellows NOW! Whether it's with Ryan or any of the the other barbers there you will not be disappointed. Only the best quality and hospitality comes from Handsome Fellows!

I've been booking my husbands appointments here for I believe over a year now, we don't trust anyone other than Scott to cut his hair, and he never ever disappoints. yes, it may be a little expensive, but you're paying for a quality haircut (he gets his hair and beard cut) I definitely make sure to book his appointment a few weeks in advance since I know it can get busy and about a month out during holidays. He's never been disappointed, done wrong, and has also been treated kindly we'll continue to use handsome fellows and Scott for a long, long time. ❤

I’ve been to many (many) Barber Shops over the course of my life.
Barbershops in other cities, states and countries.
Handsome Fellows has got that “something special” and I would say most of it comes from the service and high-end cuts.
It’s obvious, that the Barber’s here are true professionals….take a look at the photos, wait, better yet, go sit in the waiting room and watch their work.
You’ll notice that the door’s keep opening as happy customers move in and out of these fine establishments.
You’ll be hard pressed to find the same caliber of quality, service and attention to detail anywhere else in Louisville (much less the state of KY).
Handsome Fellows is what you’ve been looking for…..
