Point Park

Beautiful place, great picture opportunities and plenty of room for the kiddos to run. They even have a skateboard park for the older kids.

I visited here for a civil war re-enactment on May 20, 2023. It was interesting to see. They did a very good job. I especially liked the horsemen battles. The park was nice with a play area, sidewalks for walking with a river view. They have also put in 2 new pickleball courts.

This park has everything, even a massive field to frolic in!! My girls had so much fun at the splash pad. The playground equipment is awesome. There is a skate park, tennis court, basketball court and baseball field. They also have boat docks as it's right on the river.

Great location. Kept very clean and well maintained. This place is something locals can be proud of.

This is a nice little park. Well taken care of and clean. There is a pickle ball court, splash pad, and playground. Also, it has a paved side walk for a nice walk along the river.

Great place to go walk-around and look at the water or fish take pictures,look for shells or rocks or fossils enjoy the scenic view with loved ones. My teenager sons are who I went with and it was surprisingly seems like a hangout spot with many activities and setups you can do to get a little bit of exercise and fresh air or a place to let kids use up some energy,lol.

Point park is beautiful and well maintained. Where 2 Rivers meet. The Kentucky and Ohio Rivers.

I was visiting Gen. Butler State Park & decided to check out this park. It had a nice short river walk with plenty of places to sit. Lots of kids were having fun on the playground & small water park. This is a premiere place to capture a sunset on the Ohio River. Absolutely beautiful!

Great place for a 3 year old's birthday party. We really enjoyed the splash park, slides, and swings. There is also a skate park. The mouth of the Kentucky River is to the left flows into the Ohio River. There is a boat ramp on the Ohio side. They also have music festivals there sometimes. There are covered picnic tables with restrooms attached which is where we had our pizza and birthday cake. Worked out perfectly.

Absolutely beautiful view of the river! What a wonderful, relaxing spot. The family enjoyed skipping stones on the river.

A friend and I had a great visit on Halloween,we just set and watched the river and the moon when the clouds wasn't covering it!

Beautiful view from the benches on the river. There was a nice car meet there too which is always nice to stroll though.

Beautiful scenery and during the sunny days and at dusk it's especially pleasant to enjoy a picnic with loved ones and watch the boats.

Great playground, always open and clean restrooms, shelters, riverview

I love to take my dogs for walks here. The landscape is serene and is rather unique to this location. Good place to take photos and catch beautiful sunsets. Plenty of room to roam around and it is very seldom crowded. Great picnic spot. Well lit at night. Park includes 2 playground areas, splash park, volleyball court, skateboarding ramps, basketball court, pickleball court, soccer field, baseball field, covered picinic areas, grills, a large pavilion, paved trail, boat ramp & dock, and is adjacent to an RV park/campground. Last but not least, its a unique spot where you can see 2 rivers, 2 bridges, and 2 states all in one location. If you love the water, you will most definitely enjoy this park. As beautiful as it may be, I suggest taking extra precaution around the water, especially with children or pets. The currents are quite strong and should not be underestimated. All in all, one of my favorite parks that I frequently visit.

It's a relaxing place to be for sure. I come down solo on the bike when I'm in need of a get away. I also bring my son to the splash park on hot summer days, he is absolutely obsessed with it 😆

Absolutely love this place, relaxing to just come and listen to and watch the river.
