Hog Wild Pig Crazy Bar-BQ

I'm truck'n gal and I found this place by using Trucker path! It's highly rated by truck drivers so I had to check it out! It was so worth the stop! It's really cute and authentic! You can see the smoker outback! There's a cute gazebo outside where they allowed me to have my dog enjoy lunch with me! They even gave him his own cup of pulled pork for free! I got the brisket coleslaw and baked beans and corn bread! Everything was amazing! Not everyday you can enjoy great BBQ that happens to be conveniently next door to a truck stop! Happy I stopped!

This isn't exactly a place meant for dining-in, but their food is EXCELLENT!! Don't be put off by it seeming a slight bit pricey because the amounts you receive are worth the amount. The quality of ALL of their food is outstanding!! And the people that work there are friendly, personable, and will remember your favorites if you become a regular like my family has. Honestly I can't compliment this establishment enough. I have been a faithful customer since they were only a little seasonal operation.

This place was a nice little find. Next to the Loves and a towing business. They were out of brisket when we arrived at a little before 715pm. I chose the chicken and sausage with potato salad and Mac and cheese. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich with pickles. Added a couple of beers all for about $28.
The chicken was juicy, and the sausage was spot on. Mac and Cheese was ok..but could use something for more flavor I think. The potato salad was definitely different than I expected, it was supposedly bacon bits and sour cream based I could definitely taste the sour cream but not the bacon so much..id probably have to try it again to really know if I'd like it better. All an all, it's not a bad little joint, decent food instead of fast food with knock knacks for sale, flags, pickles, and whatnots and plenty of parking for big rigs ACROSS the street in their lot. Don't park in the tow business beside the BBQ place or you will get towed. The lady I talked to was very nice and said she checks the lot beside them and if you're in there, she will have you towed. They need to keep that area free for the wreckers to come in at all hours of the night. If you park in the lot across the street, please pick up after yourself and don't trash the lot or leave your waste...it's hard finding free, decent parking these days, show a little courtesy and professionalism.

Truck driver loves truck stop next door, Great little place for BBQ sandwiches and a cold beer at end of the day been here many times over last two years pulled pork and chicken with beans or Cole slaw is what I get. Staff is always awsome. remember no beer after 730pm

I stopped to try them when I saw their sign i got a pulled pork sandwich with chips for $6 you can’t beat that there was a good pile meat on the sandwich and it was moist and flavorful

Pulled pork was great, Mac and cheese great and they gave us a sample of the soup. It was awesome Thanks for being near a truck stop. We get so tired of lack luster choices at Loves. Marked this as favorite next time we are on this route.

People, you are missing out if you have never tried this place! The Pulled Pork Sandwich was Heaven but my suggestion is get the Sandwich with a side of Mac N Cheese and combine it! Trust me, you will love it! All the sides are amazing good! I hope my recommendation will enhance their business that much more!

Unbelievable great food! We has truck drivers have almost no food choices anymore out here! My broker asked if I would go to Kentucky today and I am glad I said yes! You have try this place! Wow, what a nice surprise for dinner tonight!

It was pretty good for the price. Although the “hot” was not hot at all. Mac n cheese was good. $9 for my meal.

Absolutely delicious. Can't believe there was a line of people at the basic and terrible for you subway in the Loves when there's this AWESOME BBQ PLACE RIGHT NEXT DOOR! Fellow truck drivers...come on...you don't need to be eating subway 4x a week. Go get some real meat!

Food was great! Best barbeque. Had pulled pork, smoked sausage, ribs and jalapeno cornbread. We ate there. It was so good, had to take some home. Definitely going back. The staff were so friendly also.

Fantastic bbq at a great price served with a smile in a low key location. Win! Had the pulled pork & coleslaw with cranberries. Deliciousness all around. Definitely recommend.

Half chicken, collards and Mac n Cheese was on point! The special sauce that's made in-house tastes really good with the chicken!

I stopped here for a quick bite to eat. Got the pulled chicken sandwich with sweet and tangy sauce. It was fantastic!! Highly recommend stopping in. Looking forward to trying the pulled pork next time I’m out this way.

Good spot for something different than truck stop food. The ladies were very nice. The pulled pork was the only meat we tried only because they didn't have any ribs left. It was pretty typical pulled pork. It was nothing fancy but good. Tried the mac n cheese and beans. Beans have a slight hint of heat to them. The mac n cheese was very creamy but box taste. The sweet sauce has a hint of heat to it as well. The mild is better if you don't like heat. All the sandwiches come with chips and a pickle. The pickle does have heat packed in it too. Overall food and prices were reasonable and plenty of out door seating and a great selection of Trump merchandise to buy!! Trump 2020

Hands down the best smoked pchicken I've ever had, rub was on point, was smokey without being overpowering and fell apart. The skin was perfect, snapped away and was soooo good. The jalapeño corn bread was soft and delicate, not crumbly and greens were good. Their spicy bbq wax again, one of the best ive had. Dining room was chilly although wonderfully decorated. Will definitely be back again!

Im a truck driver and this lil slice of heaven is next door to the truck stop. Wanted to have brisket based on other reviews. It was sold out 😧 The lady told me they had ribs. I asked if they were tender. She replied they fall off the bone. Ordered 6 ribs. Had a nice dry rub that smelled so good. They gave me a mild bbq sauce also. Woof woof were they good. Could not finish. Had to share with my bulldog. Poor guy was drooling. Will stop by next time im rolling thru.

Stopped at Loves, walked over here,was wanting Brisket but said they were out,so I tried their pulled pork sandwich with a side order of baked beans also comes with a small bag of chips all for 9 bucks😃👍 that's a good deal...

Amazing ribs...we almost alway read the reviews before trying a new restaurant. There were mixed reviews about the coleslaw but since I love cranberries/cranraisins I decided to try it. It’s very very good. Not a fan of the Mac and cheese. I prefer a drier baked type myself but all in all this food was fantastic and the ribs didn’t even touch the bbq sauce (which I sometimes have to use to get some ribs down) the hubby got the pulled chicken which was moist and flavorful and the potato salad was sooooo good. Lastly the person on the phone taking my order was also very professional and friendly.

First of all, if you refuse to go to a business and give that business a one star review simply because they have opposing political views to yourself, you're a child and need to take a good look in the mirror and consider who the real problem is. Secondly, the food is just fine and the prices are very reasonable. Is it the best BBQ I've ever had? No. Was I expecting it to be? No. The food tastes just fine and nothing about it seemed "disgusting" to me as other reviews have stated. I got the pulled pork sandwich, and that's what I received.
