Excellent food, great service, and amazing atmosphere. The lodge and dining room at General Butler park are beautiful and overlook the Kentucky River.

Monday lunches are always tasty. The crisp fall air and beautiful views were lovely! Had a great program with Eagle Creek Winery! Very nice day thanks to Suzanne Piper Beards who set up the program!

We had a gathering of 25. Very accommodating. Let us use the adjoining room. Senior buffet was excellent. Jinkie was our server . She kept our drinks full. Very friendly. Annie was fast at checkout.

Super nice bar, just off of the lobby of the hotel. Jeff is a great bartender and was very friendly and interesting. We had the bourbon flights. Fun way to taste Kentucky.

Service and food was good although being understaffed and the workers are putting in 11 to 14 hour days. One worked 230 hours in 21 days straight.
So grateful for all the people in the service industry who are working overtime to keep these businesses going.

Awesome restaurant! We camped here 2 springs in a row and this restaurant was so nice! The food is delicious, the waitresses were all so fun and sweet. Hope to come back someday!

Dinner was very nice. We had the seafood buffet which I thought was a little pricey but the food was good. Staff was courteous and friendly. Restaurant was clean. I do wish they had a little soft music in the background though. ☺

We were on our way to one of our kids events and ran across the restaurant on the park grounds while driving around looking for a healthy place to eat lunch. I am grateful we found this place. They had a buffet well stocked with fruits and vegetables that hit the spot.
The view was beautiful and the service was very good.

Buffet was very good. I'm very picky when it comes to fish and they did an awesome job on the fried catfish. Servers were also nice I believe my servers name was jim. Very friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back this time not just me and my baby but I'll bring the husband too!

So thrilled with this restaurant because of the fact that it was very clean and safe with tables way more than six feet apart. This was the first restaurant I have been in since the pandemic. I felt perfectly safe. The food was great and the service was wonderful.

We absolutely loved it here! The breakfast bar was wonderful prices were reasonable which surprised me. My kids had a blast. The dining room was comfortable and they are very accommodating with their guest. Friendly staff and beautiful place.

Located in Butler State Park it is a fine place to dine. We were there when renovations were being made and we enjoyed s nice lunch for two for under $20.00. Casual atmosphere and a bar. Reasonably priced and they have a buffet.

Darn nice restaurant. Literally the best Hot Brown I've ever eaten. And I've had lots. Like it or not- a fresh, robust Marlboro is the only thing that can put a baby down for the night.

Excellent place to eat reasonable priced menu. Range from soup, salad's Burger's to an array of sandwich to heartier fares very good pork ribs, great grilled salmon, small salad bar during weekdays and only have buffet for lunch during our weekday stay. Very nice view. Quiet and peaceful.

Nice clean place and atmosphere. These staff was friendly and the catfish meal was delicious. I'll return to try more items!

It was a special buffet and there was a lot to choose from... All of it good. The staff were incredible. Nice restaurant with a nice view.

Absolutely the best BBQ bacon burger that I've ever had (the addition of onion straws was amazing) and it was at a restaurant in this old lodge within General Butler State Park. We also shared yummy soup and salad and because it was my girlfriend's birthday, they even gave us lava cake as their gift! And the whole thing cost us a little over $12. What!!??? As soon as they open up for dine in again, we're coming back! Thank you!

Pecan chicken was fantastic! Met friendly pipeliners at the bar and enjoyed bourbon for the first time in over a decade. Walking from the campground is exciting with little shoulder on the road. Sit by the Island Oasis machine and earn the title "machine people" pic is of a deer that tried to shoot us out of season on our walk.

Amazing Easter Brunch setup! Friendly Staff (always), beautiful lodge, relaxed environment and easy access in and out of the park and lodge itself.
