Lauren Welnicki has been cutting my whole family’s hair for upwards of 10 years. She is very experienced with thick/wavy hair. My husband had been through several barbers before going to Lauren, he has never found someone who can control his hair like she can and now refuses to go anywhere else! Because she is a licensed Barber; she uses all the traditional Barber shop techniques (straight razor neck lining, hot towel etc.) which he loves!

Kristin is amazing at everything eyebrows, face, whatever! Olivia is the best! What a fantastic salon.

Lauren Welnicki was my hairstylist for my wedding in June and I was blown away by her work! My 7 bridesmaids and I were SO in love with our hair. I got married on the hottest day this summer and our hair NEVER BUDGED. Lauren was the easiest and most fun girl to work with. Couldn’t recommend her enough! :)

My mother drives down to Fayetteville to have Lauren cut her hair. She has struggled finding a hairdresser for 7 years to cut her hair like the hairdresser she had in Chicago. My mother says she will drive any distance for Lauren and appreciates her work! She is also a wonderful listener to make sure she fully understands what the client is wanting. She has no problem speaking up if she doesn't believe that their kind of hair will be able to achieve the look they have in mind. Salon Fifty Four is absolutely gorgeous. They have done a beautiful job with their renovation and making it a very comfortable hospitable place. If you haven't tried their coffee it is a must!

The owner has done an amazing job of creating a great environment and culture at this salon. I enjoy every service and they constantly think of ways to go above and beyond from a scalp massage to personalized recommendations. I can come in, and sit in the chair every time with trust that the integrity of my hair is in great hands and knowing that every experience will be amazing.
