The Lord's Place

This place is very helpful,if not for them I wouldn't have a new start on life. I want to especially thank Mr. Gary Hawkins he went above and beyond to help my family. We relocated to North Florida and are doing very well. Thank you for caring enough to point us in the right direction. This service helps those who really want help. And go above and beyond to get you the help and services needed for your situation. Thank you with love and prayers to continue your mission of helping families in need..

They have a mobile meal mobile that feed the homeless and provides resources for our city! Love the staff and leadership. One of my favorite organizations that fights homelessness is our region.

Omg! First its like a fancy restaurant for the homeless and they catering food which was awesome 👌 we had shrimp 🍤 and potato soup and it was very tasty 😋 kudos for this place !!!

Most beloved and service oriented non profit. Makes such a tremendous difference in the community. Don't forget about Josuah's Place catering. Keep them in mind for a donation. They have touched 1000s of lives and make the world a much better place.

I just want to say the Lords Place is not just the place of many resources, I for one believe they have the BEST LEADERS ON THEIR TEAM. People like Mr.Phillips and many more take their time out to really care from the HEART ❤. Understanding the nature of the entire family and provide the BEST SECURITY OF UNDERSTANDING FOR SURVIVAL ALL AROUND. I am so grateful to have meet such leaders who are really taking the time out the make SURE FAMILIES ARE GUIDED ON THE RIGHT PATH…not just a man ..woman or child everyone no one get left behind type of Leader. Thank you again for the learning experience from a male prospective of protection ..guidance…love and Prayers.

How can you go wrong with what wonderful attribute it offers to our community. Fantastic and interesting shopping. And, let us not forget that special treasure, whether it is brick a brack or that one special furniture- this is the IT spot. Go shop at the most interesting store and get great customer service. You will never go wrong, you'll be blessed.

It is an "OUTSTANDING" organization that provides the most deserving services to a growing problem in our society- that is " Homelessness". We or I should say I am very proud of what they are able to do for this growing problem and that may cause many others, more or less like a domino affect. Lets first start there and join hands. Please , contact them for any worthy donations which helps them to help others- but we must not forget we ourselves might need their help. Please visit their Thrift Store and help hire those who are trained by their outstanding and resourceful staff who in turn give their overall self to assist those in need.

I found significant relief thru TLP from a crisis I became entangled in during CoViD modifications, in 2020 ,that essentially cut me off from treatment & counseling I've benefited from for decades. The generosity & level of assistance is like no other agency or group I've ever encountered writ-large.

The Lords Place is the most amazing organization I have ever received services from. In 2018, I found myself homeless, and with no place to go. I was staying in roach infested hotels and motels, their costs were more than expensive. I had to pay over $500.00 a week. I ran through my savings in 10 weeks. I had to live out of my car for a while. Someone mentioned The Lords Place, I contacted them and was given an appointment for an assessment with Ms Val Stanley Santiago. The most incredible woman I’ve ever met. The women’s shelter was full and Ms Val, said they may have an opening for the next month. I was put up in a motel through another agency. I received a call from Ms Val in 9 days. I entered Burkle Place, the female campus on March 17th, 2018. Upon my arrival I was greeted by one of the residents saying “Welcome Home “. I was overwhelmed with joy. The house is beautiful. I was escorted to my room, a very beautifully designed room. I couldn’t believe the blessing that had been bestowed upon me. The Lords Place offered me educational opportunities, beautiful clothing, etc. All the amenities one could only dream of and they did this without any hesitation. They believed in me and knew that I would get my life back in order. I did, and then some.
Today I pay rent in a lovely apartment that The Lords Place referred me to and I’m living independently.
I’m so very blessed and proud to be an Alumni of the Lords Place. They offer so many services, PLEASE if you need help and are feeling helpless, please don’t!
Walk into The Lords Place and you will find your happiness again. Don’t give up!! You will not be turned away nor judged. Every single employee and volunteer are very kind and empathetic and understanding. It’s the best thing that has ever happened to me. God bless you, always!! Thank you, for reading a small bit of my story. STAY BLESSED MY FRIEND!!!

This Organization is HANDS DOWN just something to BE PROUD OF!! I know I am when I go Volunteer to serve meals to the tenants!! They are just as apprieciative for the food, as I am for the opportunity to meet them. We need to NOTICE THESE THINGS!! 💜💠💜💠

Their mission to end homelessness is driven by purely passionate, caring, and truly wonderful people. Their CEO Diana Stanley is someone everyone should meet. Also, the food is excellent.

What can i say, AWESOME. You will be giving excellent service. There is always a small treasure found and delivery available for large items.

This program has been able to do for My Family in these ways:
1) Provided a safe HOME, our own apartment, along with all household supplies!
2) A better future is being given to my girls and myself, for i will be attending college while staying at TLP (The Lords Place) while I'm going thru this journey!
3) My past substance abuse has brought me to have come across some paths in our lives that TLP has been able to give me the uplifting spirit, awareness, the support, their love and so much more! With TLP SUPPOrt I am being given the change of a lifetime for myself and my girls!
I'd like to say THANK YOU to ALL of TLP employees! You have made a huge difference in my life!

Great prices. Small selection, but I always check here first. Because if I find it here, it's cheaper. Also, it's a very worthwhile organization that provides great service to the community.

There are Great resources available for the homeless community aswell as an Amazing Reentry Staff on hand. I absolutely Love The Lords Place!
