Tina Beverage & Grocery

I've been going to Tina's for nearly 8 years. I love this place. I'm a woman in my 40's and the staff and owner have always been so kind! I've never felt unsafe or uncomfortable there. I'm annoyed at the review below that states they're rude and don't speak English because it's categorically untrue. Someone else made a comment about it being sketchy and in a sketchy neighborhood, again, not accurate. I'll admit it's sketchy neighborhood adjacent. And there are people who hang out out front or in the lot, but I've never once been harassed or had some one ask for money. They honestly usually hold the door open for me. I suspect it's negate the staff take care of them in some way. Try going to a nearby gas station and you can hardly get through the door without being asked for money. They have a great selection of product. Fantastic selection of wine! If I ever move out of this neighborhood I'd go out of my way to shop there.

I go there daily. Friendly workers, Gary is always keeping you laughing. Prices can be steep,but you pay for convenience. Very clean.

I have always used this store for my “pit stop” on the way home from work for a good 15 years or so. Still trying to win my millions of dollars on a large jackpot. And truthfully if I do win I am gladly going to share a few dollars with the owner Mohamed. He has always been very kind to me over the years. He knows my situation at home , that my father is a WWII corpsman hero whom served on Iwo Jima at 19 years old , however time has not been kind to him and he is dealing with dementia and I am caring for him at this time. “Mo” is a special person and I appreciate our short conversation as I pass by. Not only is he special to me , I see that he is like that to all his customers.These days other stores do not come close to the way “Mo” shows appreciation to his customers. His store has many options to chose from and the cafe next door is not bad either.
I recommend people to give his store a try if they are unable to find that special item you need to complete your day if you have looked all over town and can not find it, Tina’s quite possibly may have it .

Tina's has been around for many years and it's comforting to see a neighborhood store still thriving these days. I'm sure it's because the customer service is pleasant and helpful. One of the employees there by the name of "Derek" even helped me take a big 24 pack of water to my car when they saw I was hurting badly that day after work. It was such a blessing!🙏🙏🙏

Good selection of beer and wine. Also has a decent grocery section if you live in the neighborhood and run out of something or need something quick - eggs, butter, toiletries, laundry, etc. The owners and the other guys that work there are so sweet and friendly.

Tina's is a wonderful place to shop for all your needs. Literally. I like the little extra products like: cocktail olives of different sorts. The customer service is 5 star. I have NEVER experienced any rudeness. Only good advice and humanly concern. Tina's do not allow loitering-a plus.

Very cool 😎spot professionally running and up to par. Representing Old Northwood ideology. Safe, clean, no outside individuals hassling you trying to enter or exit. Tina's a neighborhood icon to many that have been around a while.

I walk to Tina's almost every morning.The help at checkout are very helpful, patient and friendly.They keep a warming smile on their face every time.This is a place that really value their customers...😍

Tina's is a great go-to store for a variety of beverages, beers, juices, sodas, milk products, coffee and energy drinks, as well as, basic small market goods. They also provide money orders and cash checks for a %. Mohammed and Mr.Gary along with staff are user friendly. Whenever I am in Northwood I go to get cigarettes and beverages. They are part of what's good in the area. Thank you Tina's.

Muhammad is an excellent person to do business with everybody needs to go in he's friendly and outgoing could not ask for a better store owner makes you feel at home

Great place to stop in for your lottery tickets cigarettes beer cold beverages the owners have been there for years they're very nice employees very friendly there is a pizza shop in the same Plaza next to it and on the other side is a restaurant and Bar good place to go to watch football games or just hang out
