Great food and excellent service! Pet friendly! Even gave our pup some complimentary burger. Calamari was fresh and light with a nice sauce to go with it. Highly recommend.

I stopped in the early afternoon. Got seated quickly, drinks were brought immediately. Food was served fast. The Marlin Rings are fantastic. The dipping sauce had a little spice, which was nice. The Jambalaya was different than what I am used to, but was still excellent.

Grouper cheeks, Cuban sandwich, ribs, & cedar plank salmon were incredible! We have been coming here for years and are so glad this place is still as good as ever.

I came by here today with my family to eat lunch and we had an amazing time. I use to live down the street and order take out from here all the time and never had a bad experience. It's been 10 years since then and the food is still delicious as ever. My favorite item to order is the buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken is so perfectly made and they have different options for the heat level. Definitely recommend one of their sandwiches, they are so good.Our server was Bruce and he was so kind and accommodating. He ensured we were okay throughout our time there and was extremely sweet . Bruce displays a perfect example of southern hospitality and it's obvious he's a happy individual who enjoys helping others. I've had rough day so the fact he was able to turn my day around meant a lot. I am truly humbled by this experience and are very thankful for such top notch service AND delicious food. Thanks Bruce!!! Everything was wonderful and I look forward to coming in again really soon!

Auhmazing. Prices, food and atmosphere. Freddy Mercury played in the background as we enjoyed our outdoor lunch of perfectly cooked quesadillas and lobster wraps. Finished with deep fried cheesecake and Oreos. Stellar service and the prices were amazing. Tipped our server over the top because we were so pleased. Thank you so much. We will be back. Highly recommend this local gem.

Our first visit was very enjoyable. The food was amazing and tasty. Our waiter was George and he was great. It was my birthday and he gave me a beautiful dessert. The crab legs were divine and my husband loved the grouper cheeks. We will be back. If you haven't been there and you love seafood, you really must go.

Great experience overall. Delicious food, apps, drinks. Our waiter Evan went above and beyond to make our dinner great! That man deserves a raise, bonus, promotion, something because good service like that needs to be recognized! Will definitely be back.

I had the lobster bisque, it was average. It tasted like the Panera lobster bisque you can buy in grocery stores. No added lobster or Sherry. I also had the Poke Tuna wonton nachos (pictured after a few bites). They were delicious! They're loaded with seaweed salad and a generous helping of ahi tuna with a ginger sauce, some Wasabi ranch and yum yum sauce on top of some slaw.

The atmosphere is like an older Florida beach-side restaurant. Still comfortable and well air-conditioned. The service was fantastic. The staff is very nice, and attentive. They immediately brought a bowl of ice water for our doggie. The menu selection is broad enough to please most anyone. The food is outstanding! We had Grouper Atlantis and the Grouper Cheeks. These were amazing! They have a good selection of adult beverages, of all kinds. We will be back, again!

Our family had a great dinner on Tuesday night. Evan took incredible care of us. He was a one man miracle maker. He kept us fed and drinks full. He had great suggestions. He took care of my 80 year old mom’s specific needs. He even helped us split up the checks. Evan is the best and I hope the owners know how good he is. Thank you, Evan.

Thirsty Marlin is a fun, entertaining restaurant at night. Lunch and early afternoon, it is quiet. The dining areas were clean and not cramped. The staff are friendly and attentive. We were in for an early dinner. They were setting up entertainment on the patio.
We started with the Wonton-Poke Tuna Nachos, EXCELLENT! Our entrees were Fried Grouper Cheeks and Fish & Chips, both were delicious. Thirsty Marlin is a definite yes on the list.

5 stars (because I work in the industry and understand how reviews work) even though I took 2 bites of my meal, told the server it had too much sauce, didn't eat any more of it and he didn't offer to replace it or take it off the check. My husband and son loved their food, so I didn't make a big deal out of it, but I think it could have been handled differently.

Absolutely amazing food and service. They even had Rum Flights.

Stopped at thirsty Marlin‘s for a quick afternoon lunch with family. Had the shrimp sunset salad it was really good with a Italian dressing. Sat outside on the back patio. Bruce waited on us. He was beer attentive. Making sure he topped off our drinks, and checked in often.
Thirsty Marlins has been a favorite for years.

Called the next morning before they opened, a kind gentleman ran next door to look for my prescription sunglasses that I thought I had left there.

I would really like to thank the staff of Thirsty Marlin especially my server Smiley. He’s taken care of me before. But today. He went above and beyond. It’s my 50th birthday and no one took the time to celebrate this milestone with me. So I came out to dine alone. I got there 5 minutes after last call for all you can eat crab was called. But I asked him to see if it would be ok with a manager since my friends bailed on me. I wouldn’t be chatting. Just crabbing. Lolol. He got the all clear. And kept me stocked. All the staff would walk by and wish me a happy birthday. And Smiley chatted with me throughout my meal so I didn’t feel so alone. And on top of everything else. They also blessed with with a ginormous piece of chocolate cake. And here I was thinking. I wasn’t going to get cake for my birthday. Thank you Thirsty Marlin for helping this midcenturian celebrate having made it to the top of the hill. And again. Thank you Smiley for bringing a smile to my face when there was none. Delicious as always.

Great experience at this location. The servers are attentive and check up on you frequently. Nice atmosphere. They often have live music going on. They do give you large portions, so you get your money’s worth.

With the Palm Harbor Craft Festival just outside and a noon time crowd it was very busy but things moved very fast. The food was great, the ambiance jolly and boisterous. The girl seating everyone had eternal patience and a ready smile. Our server George must moonlight as a comedian. I liked the diverse menu and the food coming out of the kitchen looked awesome. Best idea I saw was the food when ready was carried hot and pronto by kid runners, no waiting for a busy server. Great place to eat and drink, nice outdoor hangout to pass the time. Highly recommend.

Bruce was our service this afternoon. He was extremely helpful with the special of the day and also Happy Hour times. Bruce. He checked on us throughout the meal (without overdoing it). Wry friendly and courteous.
We visit Florida several times a year. Thirsty Marlin is ALWAYS a stop for us. Keep up the good work and Great food!
