Capital Millwork

I love this place! There are plenty of ideas to choose from to improve the look of your home. We had 3 inch square metal posts on our lanai. We beefed them up to 6 inches using VersaWrap. The height was 10’3” so we used 10’ VersaWrap. The 3” was made up using crown wrap on top and accent wrap on the bottom. So easy! I’m adding this accent piece next.

The prices are right, the service is excellent, and Keith and Heather are two of the best I have ever worked with, I'm a remodeling contractor and I buy from Capital Millwork. I have price checked them several times with other millwork suppliers and their prices are always lower, don't just take my word for it, call around. The best part about working with Capital Millworks is how knowledgeable Keith and Heather are. They are a real resource even for a building contractor with 29 years of experience in the building trades. Emma the receptionist is awesome too, she always has a big smile and a helpful attitude. We went there after we bought our house and took photos of our locks and they matched it up with the same brand (Schlage) to make replacement easier. We changed the style and finish and it was an easy install to change all three entry locks to the house which they keyed alike. Amberly assisted us though the selection and ordering process and it all went very smooth. We just bought two more locks there which we also keyed alike with the first set and they arrived within a week. We started this process at big box stores at the recommendation of the locksmith we were going to hire and that was fruitless. Glad we ended up going to a professional, local company. It was so easy to buy replacement locks, I installed them myself.

i have ordered 2 door at this point both are perfect. one i turned into a barn door the other into a pocket door. very solid and beautiful doors. heather was great in helping me and the doors came when she said they would.

are we allowed to write in support of a local business we used? I am not related, did lots of research on who people were pleased with, etc...my old front doors were 35+ years...i think with mold, I used Capitol Millworks in Palm harbor behind chic fila, heather, front end, really patient with me, did have to wait several weeks for door to come in, maybe due to covid? ...the painter was sooooo good, came back and did a 3rd and 4th coat when i noticed a bit of a mottled look...installer came back multiple times to check on painting, adjusting the rubber under the door, caulking the edge of the door when i noticed a gap...and they always showed up when they said they would!!...doors around 2400? including hardware...install 800/paint 800 + permits...price unknown...paid a little bit at a time, so don't have a true total...home depot probably less, but don't trust their 'installers'...always seems to be a problem somewhere...before (black) and after (white) included

I spent a lot of time trying to find the right bifold doors for my condo renovation. Looked at all the big box stores and couldn’t get what I wanted. I came across Capital Millworks on Google. It is sure refreshing to work with staff who appreciate their customers. I worked with Heather and not only found the Shaker Style Bifold doors I needed and at a great price as well. I highly recommend Capital Millworks in Palm Harbor, Florida.

We purchased a barn door slab and hardware (track and handle) for our master bath renovation. Their advice was perfect and the door came in earlier than expected. Everything was top quality and we found them to be very nice and helpful. We would highly recommend Capital Millwork to anyone with similar needs.

We purchased a new front door with two side lights from Capital Millwork. My husband and I are very happy with the new front door, the installation and the customer service. Keith was our sales person and he was very helpful in explaining our options. I started looking at the doors approximately six months prior to the purchase and Keith helped me every time until we were able to make a decision. He even helped me with the decision between two doors giving me enough information so my husband and I picked the right style door for our home.
