Firehouse Subs N. Woodland

I went here on a Wednesday afternoon, it was not very busy, and there was plenty of seating.

The staff were courteous, they greeted me as I walked in. They were friendly through the whole process and I felt welcomed.

I got a cold turkey sub, and it was fantastic. How was genuine surprised at how good it was. If you're in downtown DeLand this is definitely the spot I'd grab lunch at if you don't want to sit down, and just want more casual food. To me it's one of the only destinations down here that's more casual comfort food versus sit down areas.

Would recommend if you're downtown you stop by for lunch here.

It was the first time visiting Firehouse Subs. I was overall impressed with the interior decor. I bought the medium meatball Parm sub and the cheese steak sub. The food was absolutely delicious. One of the best subs in the entire state of Florida. The only downside, the staff. They could have been a lot more upbeat and cordial. Very unprofessional. Not excited about their job, no warm greeting, no smile, no thank you, come again! It doesn't warrant taking off a star but as a nurse and professional, they need to be taught proper etiquette and manners. This keeps customers coming back.

Great establishment to eat at and they give back to our hometown heroes! The facility in DeLand was very clean and well maintained. During my visit it was very busy and crowded, but the staff did an excellent job at keeping the line moving. I was very impressed at how well the staff behind the counter worked together and communicated to keep everything flowing at a steady pace. With how busy it was not only did I get my lunch fast but it was well made! I had an Italian sub and my husband enjoyed a Firehouse "Hero"! Thank you for a clean, fast, efficient,and delicious meal!

The food is always great and the people who work there r awsome.. when today to get a sandwich and there was one two people working right then and were alittle behind but they handled it.. only ran into one problem. i dont like onions on my sandwich, and they must have forgotten and put onions on my sandwich it not a huge deal because they were busy, so i understand mistakes can happen.....

Really tasty. Great service also. Smelled like smoke when we walked it which have it that legit firehouse feeling, haha.

I get soup from here a lot, because it is absolutely delicious. The chicken dumpling and loaded potato.

This was the best salad I've had. I ordered the hook and ladder salad. Delicious!

I like the atmosphere. Especially the authentic bunker gear hanging near the back hall.

My wife, Lana, and I regularly stop in at Firehouse Subs. We both require supplemental oxygen 24/7 and we both travel around DeLand on mobility scooters. Firehouse Subs is our favorite place to eat, outside of our own kitchen, and all of the staff there treat us like family, like Royalty! I highly recommend Firehouse Subs to anyone out in town. I've been here many times. Service is good. Subs are fantastic. This time, I got my order to go. No complaints at all. I will most definitely be back.

Been to this location a few times and my experience has always been great. The food is always top notch and the employees are eager to greet you and serve you in the best way possible.

Been there twice now. Both times excellent. I recommend the steak sub. And the Cherry vanilla cream soda from the fountain machine. Make sure to donate a buck to their good cause

Always a little smoky in here but the subs are great. Love sitting at the window bar seats to watch mainstreet foot traffic. Tuesdays are Stetson discount day with a valid ID!

Our favorite place to go for lunch. Salad is great. Usually they serve it chopped in small pieces and I ask them to not chop it. They are very accommodating. The manager and his staff are great.

Great subs & cookies. It does take a good @10 minutes for each order to be made-not as fast as Subway, which is ok. Nice wall murals in each restaurant personalizing the names of each local fire dept.

I've never had a bad experience here, be it food, friendliness, or decorative firehouse accouterments. I've been here A Lot. They bring your sub basket to where you're sitting (no where else do I receive such a thoughtful sub service, because no where else makes sure my subs are properly warm and melty before presenting them for consumption). Once I asked for some extra pickles and they gave me quite a bunch in a bag (in the convenient wrapping they come in, not just a terrible leaky pickle drenched bag).

Also, near the front windows or seated outside are great spots to people watch the main thoroughfare, which is a bonus of their prime downtown corner location.

We ordered our food to go. There were a few customers ahead of us, so grabbed our drinks, walked around town for 10-15 mins came back, and it was ready to go. It was such a nice day we decided to eat at one of the outdoor tables, the area was clean, food was good. Good experience.

Love this location And today just made me a loyal customer for life I was stopping in to get some food after my weeknd bike ride and forgot my wallet at the house.
I told the cashier that I'd have to come back at another time Pual the cashier didn't hesitate to swipe his card and pay for my stuff he is an amazing employee and real awesome person all employees should strive to be this Great!!! Thankyou Pual you are an amazing person!!!!
