Spellbound Cafe

A nice selection of vegan options with plant-based cheese and a fun atmosphere. The vegan "mac and cheese" was creamy, well coated pasta and light in flavor like an alfredo. The cake was like a spiced banana bread but sweeter with a glaze and icing. I will be back to try the many other dishes available.

This place did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious. I truly mean delicious. Nothing disappointed. They had the table ready for us when we got there, and our waitress was so friendly. I can’t wait to go back!!!

Top new favorite spot in Deland. Great atmosphere and music with kind and attentive staff. We started off with the mushroom duxelles and the gambas al ajillo. Both deliciousness!! I drank an iced witch hazel latte, absolutely refreshing. We shared the tomato ricotta pasta, which I will now be making at home it was that good for such a simple dish. We thought we were full, but after waiting a few more minutes, we ordered the creme brûlée. We didn’t leave any crumbs on our plate to say the least. I can’t wait to go back here when I am in town again! Highly recommend!

Very cute & cozy place. Infused wine drinks, craft beers, infused sweet tea's and hot tea's amazing. We had the infused sweet tea's, tried two, the spellbound house tea and another... both amazing. Food was okay. Dessert was incredibly delicious. Very knowledgeable waitress and she was adorable, just wish she smiled a little more.

Top to bottom begining to end ice tea iced coffee pasta flat bread appezzer. Toffee pudding amazing why I have not eaten her before. Top quality. Local sourced food. You need to go and go soon. Thanks and I'll be back.

This is a restaurant that has the greatest iced tea and iced coffee all handcrafted unbelievable food the flatbreads the pasta the grilled cheese all were phenomenally good great service the toffee pudding was out of this world and again this isn't a place that's super cheap but everything is handcrafted from the even the iced tea when you order it it's made for you crafted coffees crafted iced tea and serve in a great atmosphere definitely one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long long time

So delicious!!!!!!! I got the M & C and it was very good! And my friend got a flatbread that was super yummy! The atmosphere is like nothing we have in DeLand. You must visit !!!!!!!!

My first time there. It was amazing the tea was delicious. You can tell they give it there all for every detail. I had lunch there this time. I will definitely be back for dinner soon. Thank you for the great experience!!! And really awesome atmosphere. I will be back.

I love this place. My affogato was so delicious and my husband coffee too. The service was awesome, a lovely girl who talked and explained us about the menu, DeLand and more . We'll be back!!

This place has the best frys in a 50 mile redeus...get them with goat cheese you won't regret it!!! Coffee is Astounding! One of the few places doing coffee right. Would skip the milk teas though, especially if your a fan of boba milk teas...it's not anything like it. Other then that, I can't wait to come back!!!

Amazing hospitality! I accidentally walked in during a huge storm not realizing they close in between lunch and dinner service and the owner was just so over the top sweet and offered to still prepare us an absolutely stellar cream brûlée and drinks. It’s an intimate, quirky and classy place definitely worthy of a date night reservation.

Super fun experience!! My kids & I ate dinner here on a Friday night- loved the creative dinner menu… delicious food & drinks!! My kids couldn’t get enough of the tea/lemonade concoction :) The truffle fries & pasta dishes were superb too! Looking forward to doing a themed dinner event here soon- hear super good things & with the fun menu: we can’t wait to participate!!

Amazing place, small cafe near downtown, I ordered a Witch Hazel Latte and was blown away, it was better than my regular coffee stop. I had to order a second one could not get enough! Atmosphere was welcome and magical. Service was amazing, staff super welcome. Definitely is going to be by go to spot!

My sister and I had a lovely lunch! Kayla was wonderful and so was the food! We had the Spellbound M & C and the Lemon-Pesto Artichoke pasta and both we're so good and great portions for a lunch offering, we both left full! The coffee and tea selection was excellent also, so many delicious choices it was hard to decide! The coffee and tea we had tasted as good as they sounded and we'll just have to go back and try something new every time! A delightful little place with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent selections of food and drink! I'll be telling everyone I know to grab a meal or a coffee here!

AHHHHMAZING! Fine dining locally! The most quaint cozy and the food felt like a warm Christmas hug! Made home made and with flavors I’ve never had before! This will be my weekly drop in! Memorable food and the most cute aesthetic for photos! Great date night! List goes on! MIND YOU IM A VEGETARIAN IN A TOWN FULL NOT AS VEGAN FRIENDLY! Everything was also customized to your taste! Add the protein but the drinks are also a hidden gem!

Service was very slow, but the food was freshly made and totally delicious. I had a flatbread with gruyere, and tried the cauliflower crust and...fear not, even for a hard core gluten junkie, that was amazing texture and flavor. Just recommend to the owners to make that delicious tea before lunch rush so you can get drinks on the table quick even if the food takes a little while to serve. This place was delicious.

A quaint little eatery, the aesthetic stands tall, but the food they served really stood out to me as a delicious lunch option as well!

If it's not obvious, this is a witch themed cafe. The aesthetic is very fun, but from my conversations with the lovely waitresses, it isn't all for show. They use it as an engine to drive community interactions. Hosting wholesome get togethers and Holliday events for those that share a non traditional sense of spirituality. I hold this level of community interactions very high on the list of what you want to see from a small town business. So absolutely wonderful marks for that. They also support local artists by using their space as a rotating gallery. Which is even more spectacular.

As for the food, I ordered a coffee and a flat bread pizza of sorts. The coffee was good, it was hand ground and poured, topped with home made whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. I myself have quite the sweet tooth. So, when I accidentally slurped down the full dollop of whipped cream rather early into my cup, my coffee ended up rather plain. However, I tasted the cup my mother had ordered, and it was delicious. I only suggest to those that have a sweet tooth like me, ask for extra syrup stirred in, or stir in your allotted toppings the moment you get your coffee. Mileage may varry depending on which coffee/tea beverage you choose.

The flat bread I got had chicken, fetta, balsamic glaze, and fresh spinach. I quite loved this dish. The serving size was just right in my opinion, and the taste was absolutely great. It was surprisingly rich and savory. And also surprisingly filling for a flat bread! Over all a 10/10 in my books.

Now for the amenities. The store is a bit cobbled together from household materials. Which does certainly suit the aesthetic of the antique house they are functioning out of. It may brush some people the wrong way, but I enjoyed the down to earth presentation.

And finally, the servers were very nice and attentive. We went when the rush had mostly ended, so we were mostly alone.

At the end of the day. My only minor gripe was the price was a bit on the high end. But considering the food's taste and proportions we're rock solid, I don't feel particularly scuffed by it. And it's aided by the fact that it's a small local business, so you know your money is going to the people who are bringing you such an incredibly unique experience! It might not be an every day type of lunch. But most weekends or during a visit? Absolutely!
