DeLand Boat Center

I couldn't find a good boat repair shop over here in Daytona Beach so I called here at Deland Boat Center and had a very pleasant conversation with a nice lady who took the time to explain to me what my boat may’ need to get it back on the water. Minutes later I was getting a little worried her boss might not approve of all time she spent with me over the phone considering the very busy schedule they have. Although thankfully she took the time to listen to my concerns , explain to me what parts I may need , and even searched for the specifications on my outboard boat motor. I was impressed to what she had to say and felt we were on the same page as far as getting my boat repaired. That one phone call boosted my spirits and made me feel like I made the right choice to bring my boat here. Sometime later I dropped off my boat and the Technician came out to help me unhook it from my truck. Just a few short hours after I made it back home, I got a call back with complete detailed diagnostic information on what it would take to fix my boat and I was very impressed. Being a certified technician myself , I know what good service looks like, and you can find it right here at Deland Boat Center. This is the best place to go.. and, I believe they have some of the best boat technicians in all of Florida. It was a real pleasure doing business here and I certainly intend to come back if I ever need any more help with my boat.. Thank you all very much and I hope you enjoyed the Pizza I had sent over for lunch =)

I only use DeLand boat. Great service . My boat is always ready to go. They recently installed my new motor in my searay sundeck .Black boat on the right it was time for an up grade.

Bought a new boat from them. They did an excellent job with helping me order accessories, etc. Shawn, the mechanic, helped with advice since it was my first boat and the kind lady at the front desk was very helpful.

I called this company as I needed some help with my Mercury Vessel View screens and a transducer I had installed on my boat. I was assisted by 'Shawn Kemp' who was extremely patient with me and spent 20 mins going through settings and working through my dilemma despite knowing I was based in France and unlikely to be able to spend money with the shop. I could not have asked for better assistance, he was very accommodating, very professional, refreshing to know there are companies like DeLand Boat Center who will go out of there way to assist where they can, thank you Shawn,

Very impressed on their service and workmanship. My engine was running rough and in need of some help. When they completed it's service( and many other repairs) it was like a new engine. Runs great, very little smoke ( two stroke) performs better than I thought it could. Great job by Sean. Very pleased.

12/11/15: Trustworthy. Dropped my 30 year old boat off yesterday....just would not start. Paul had helped me troubleshoot it earlier in the week, yet still wouldn't start. Turns out it was just a dirty rotor. (old I/0). He could've easily said it was something different and charged me accordingly. That's the point, he didn't. Hard to find people like him today. Take your boat there, you'll be fine.

Awesome. Paul and his wife are great people, service orientated and a pleasure in which to work with. Their advice is always spot on. I've never been disappointed in their service. Further, after you pick your boat up after the repair is completed, they call you a few days later to follow up. Now that friends and neighbors, is what service is all about!

I had an issue with the binnacle control on my boat. Thinking it would certainly need replacing. Paul had me bring the back 2 days later and made a linkage adjustment which solved the problem. This shop has what it takes for a successful business. Integrity!

I contacted the DeLand Boat Center regarding 300 hour maintenance on two Mercury Verado motors that were on a used boat I was purchasing in the DeLand area. I had a limited time frame in which to get the work completed as the boat was scheduled to be shipped across the state to the Gulf coast. They were very accommodating and completed the work on time and well within my budget. I was so please with their service and going out of their way to help me out as I was a new customer. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking to have service on their boat. You won't be disappointed. Only wish they were closer to me as I would use them for all my service needs.

These folks are trustworthy and kind. They go the extra mile to do the right thing and do the right work. You will not be ripped off here. Had my transom repaired and engine replaced along with extra work and everything was TOP NOTCH (or ship shape, lol). I highly recommend them to anyone who needs boat work. Don't y'all ever change, you are the absolute best in the area.

George and I have been dealing with Deland Boat Center, for several years. Our experience with them has always been favorable. Paul is very experienced in all Mercury Services, from warranty work, to any kind of maintenance and/or repair. We have also been very satisfied with their expertise on our bass boat and flats boat. From sensors to water pumps, etc. They are very knowledgeable about any boat problems, in general. We recommend them to everyone. They also stand behind their work 100%.

We took our boat here after two boat mechanics couldn’t figure out the problem as to why our boat kept messing up. It would run fine and then if we stopped to fish and turn the boat off it wouldn’t start back up. It was so frustrating!! We’ve dealt with this for months having mechanics come to our house and take the boat out and couldn’t fix it, buying parts hoping it was it and never was. After bringing our boat here.... they diagnosed the problem in a day. Ordered the part ... got there about a week later and called us saying it was ready for pickup. I was a little skeptical because of the bad luck we’ve had with other mechanics....And when we told them the part this place ordered the others said “No way it’s not that part, they don’t know what they are talking about” NEWSFLASH IT WAS THE PART DELAND BOAT CENTER SAID IT WAS.... we went and picked up our boat... took it out that day (yesterday) and THE BOAT RAN LIKE A DREAM!!!!! It was exactly what they said it was. WE ARE JUST SO OVER THE MOON HAPPY ABOUT THIS. We have our boat back and can go snook fishing tonight! Wooohooo! I would 10000% recommend this company. Not to mention they are so nice. Also, they didn’t even charge us for 3 of the hours they took figuring out the problem. That was so humble and kind of them. We are telling every one of our friends with boats about this place!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Yet again Deland Boat Center has shined in my eyes. Paul knows so much about boats so I called him to ask him about a possible purchase (which I bought). He explained to me what I needed to look for when reviewing the boat. SPOT ON! As soon as I bought the boat I brought over to Deland Boat Center to fix a few things. I love the complete honesty that they provide and their rates u can not beat! They care and that's most important in my eyes! 1 year ago when I bought my first boat they were the best! One year later I bought my next boat and they were even better! If u want honesty and reliability this is your place! I will never ever go any where else!!

The Deland Boat center was great. From the front desk, to the service department. My old engine is now running fine, and is very dependable, and at a good price. 5 Stars from me.

I have been going to this boat shop for 10 plus year's and have had nothing but excellent customer service and great work done on my boat's. Amazing family owned business with people who care about the customer and take pride in all their work. Never had to wait, someone is always there quickly to help! Highly recommended.

6/2/2016 This is a great place to take your boat for maintenance and repairs. The owners are honest and trustworthy. I took my Mercury 25 horse Bigfoot there because of a no start issue. They took the time to answer my questions on how to take care of my outboard and gave me some pointers as well. I highly recommend the Deland Boat Center.

I have a Crestliner 22 foot bay boat with some serious warranty issues. I took the boat to Deland Boat Center a Crestliner dealer. I did not buy this boat at Deland Boat Center I wish that would have. The moment I walk through the door, they made me feel like I was a long-time customer and that my needs were the most important thing. They went to bat for me to work with Crestliner to repair my t- top and secure the center consul.
With their guidance, I got my boat back much better than it was when I purchased it new.
Every step of the way Deland Boat Center went way over and above what they needed to do. I would highly recommend them to anybody that needs work done Paul, Irene and Shawn are the greatest!
