The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I’ve attend Church here in Tucker since I was 11 years old. I’ve seen plenty of people come and go, but it’s home. Being involved has blessed my life.

If you want to feel welcomed and enjoy discussing Jesus Christ in an atmosphere that focuses on doing good, come by. Services are fairly conservative. Organ/piano and singing. There are no drums, electric guitars, etc. Great instruments, just not part of our Sunday worship.

In the morning services are in English. In the afternoon they are in Spanish.

For me Sunday School is great because I enjoy studying the Bible and related texts. It’s an opportunity to discuss what we have been reading at home. Sometimes we go deep into the text, other times the focus is on personal application.

Plenty about what we do is different from other faiths and plenty is the same.

Not sure it’s fair to rate a church, but I’ll give it 5 stars and do my best to give you a 5 star experience when you show up. You get out what you put in.

A Christ centered church where you feel welcomed. I love being able to come learn of Jesus Christ and the gospel. There are activities on Wednesday nights for older children and youth. Also, it contains a family history center where you can learn how to find information about your ancestors.

P.S. I do agree with a previous reviewer who said it is hard to get in and out of the mother's lounge, where mother's go to feed babies and change diapers, especially if you have a baby and a diaper bag.

This building is old, beautiful, and full of history. I have attended countless services and activities here throughout my life. I have family who have worshiped here for almost 20 years. The best part about this place is you can close your eyes and feel the Saviors presence throughout this place.

I have attended church here for over 20 years. I love the feeling of belonging and friendship I feel as we worship Jesus together. Some of my best friends attend here, and new friends come all the time.

Wonderful congregation! Meets at 10am on Sundays. Several excellent and uplifting activities during the week also, including: cub scouts, boy scouts, youth programs, and adult enrichment programs.

Very friendly congregation, good doctrine taught from the pulpit and in classrooms. Meeting in person as of 8/22/2021, attendees are currently asked to wear a mask as a Covid precaution

I am so grateful to attend here. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to worship our beloved Savior!

A welcoming place for people of any faith. Regular services on Sundays at various times. Youth activities for ages 12 to 18 on Wednesdays.
