This dentist practice is top notch, one of the best dental experiences I’ve ever had! From the initial call with their receptionist, to office visit and follow-up phone calls, I can’t give enough kudos to Dr. Laura Dameron and Dr. Merrick. My 15-year-old daughter’s 3 top front teeth were knocked out in a softball accident. We had never been patients of Dameron Family Dentistry before; however I heard great things about their practice. I called the next morning, and their receptionist was very empathetic and extremely helpful. She took all my information and said someone would get back to me. After a short wait, I received a call from Dr. Merrick himself. He was very calming and informative. He requested a picture of my daughter’s teeth injury and told me he was in between patients but he would try his best to get us seen asap. Luckily, we were seen the same day and Dr. Laura made time to treat my daughter despite her extremely busy schedule. From the moment we met Dr. Laura I could tell we were in great hands. She had a warm no-nonsense approach and I felt very comfortable with her. I was a nervous wreck about my daughter’s missing teeth and future treatment, so this was a great feat up to this point. Dr. Laura’s laser sharp focus and very professional treatment of my daughter will never be forgotten. She took a very traumatizing experience and put both my daughter and me at ease. She made a referral to a great Endodontist for that same day so that all treatment that my daughter needed was performed immediately. She also called me after hours on her own time to check in on my daughter. My daughter’s treatment is a work in progress, and we’ll be seeing Dr. Laura for a while. Dr. Laura went above and beyond for my daughter; I am so incredibly grateful for her dedication and care for her patients. Thank you so much Dameron Family Dentistry. If you want to be treated by the best dentists, this is the practice to visit. I know this was a long review, but I wanted everyone to know how wonderful this practice is.

I highly recommend this dentist! I hadn’t been to a dentist in several years, and prior to my appointment today I was so scared to go anywhere from fear of being told I would need a ton of work done, but after leaving my appointment, I was pleasantly surprised, and felt that they were Nothing but honest with every recommendation they gave me! Merrick and Laura Dameron have been a part of the community for over 20 years. I have personally witnessed and seen impeccable quality dentistry from this office. While it is important that they provide the best dentistry in the area, it is also noteworthy that they are amazingly kind and generous individuals. I have seen them treat many patients in need from all walks of life and that kindness makes me recommend them without reservation.

Our family started coming here this month. We could not be more thankful for the thorough care and time the Damerons took for each of our cleanings. The entire staff is kind and helpful, and they are the first dentist I’ve been to that didn’t try to upswell or tell me there were procedures needed just to make an extra buck. I have to give a HUGE shout out to Dameron Family Dental in Canton/Holly Springs area. For years I have avoided going to the dentist over fear from a bad dental experience back in Florida yrs ago. Since moving here to Georgia I had been trying to do Google researches and asking around, etc for recommendations. This Dental offices’ name kept coming up…over and over and over as “they are the BEST and the KINDEST”. I called and made an appt and gave it a shot.
Everything everyone told me about their office is TRUE! Absolute BEST experience ever going to a dentist and I was floored with their kindness and sincerity. If you are someone scared or hesitant going to see a dentist call these people up! I promise your mind will be put at ease.

As an Orthodontist, I have the privilege of working with a lot dental offices, so I get to see first hand the quality of care provided by the offices. I can honestly say from working with the Damerons over these last 7 years that they are exceptional on the quality of care and the service to their patients. I am proud to call them colleagues and pleased to share several patients in common.

I have had them for my family dentist for years now and LOVE them! All of the staff are very personable. I have referred many other families over and all have been very happy with the referral!! 5 stars is just not enough!!

I started going here approximately 18 months ago. I had not been to a dentist in a very long time. The last dentist had been money hungry and told me I had over 20 cavities. I was extremely anxious to go. Dr. Laura is the dentist for my children's dentist and I figured a dentist's dentist would probably be good. She was awesome. Very relaxing. Dr. Merrick has been the one working on my crown for the past year and I have to say, he is very conscientious about the work. He is always telling me what he is going to do and making sure I don't feel anything. It has been a marvelous experience with this office. Even the front office is wonderful. The hygienists are great. The whole experience has been great. Have recommended them multiple times on Facebook and to friends.

Had been going to my brother in law up in IL for over 40 years when my wife Janet suggested I make a local appointment as she had heard good things about Dameron Family Dentistry.
1st appointment was 12/21/2015 & am I glad I went. Dr. Laura very thorough & professional. Turns out my former dentist let a lot of things slide & after several appointments, I am as good as new.
Had pleasure of being worked on by Dr. Merrick, too & again, very thorough and professional.
Another strong point - the hygenists & administrators working for Dr. Laura & Dr. Merrick. All high quality people, necessary to achieve success & you can feel the chemistry & the will to do what's best for each patient.
There are no short-cuts here.
I would highly recommend anyone looking for superior dental care to make an appointment with Dameron Family Dentistry. You will not be disappointed.

I had a chipped front tooth I needed repaired and I must say must say "Bravo" because my tooth looks great. The dentist and his assistant made me feel comfortable. They were warm and friendly, professional, and I didn't sense urgency to rush the procedure like some offices often do. It was the end of the day, still, I could tell they were taking care to my ensure have my tooth repaired right.
I know I will be returning, especially for large procedures and I would recommend Dameron Family Dentistry to anyone in the Canton area. .

The owners are exceptional. Merrick and Laura Dameron are the nicest, most professional medical providers I've ever had the pleasure of frequenting in my 63 years. I lived in the Hickory Flat area for 15 years and my wife and I used them during that time. When we relocated to Cartersville in 2017, we started at a local dentist here, but after two years of emotional and physical torture, I decided to make the 40 minute drive back to Dameron, and boy, am I glad I did. What a difference. The office is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The staff is superb. The hygenists are wonderful, gentle and caring. I won't be going anywhere else from now on!

My daughter just had her first ever dental cleaning and I was so impressed with Dr. Laura and staff. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. They took the time to show her how each tool would work and were so sweet and gentle. What a great experience all around!

My wife and I have gone to DFD for 8 years - cleaning, fillings, and crowns. Both Drs. Laura and Merrick Dameron are top notch dentists and have provided us with competent, friendly service each and every visit. We whole heartedly recommend them without reservation.

I’ve been coming off and on for 10 years and they are always amazing. My tooth broke over the weekend and they fit me in first thing Monday morning and I was in and out in 2 hours. I have severe anxiety and everyone was so kind and understanding. Can’t recommend them enough!!

Just had my 6 month checkup and as always, the doctors and staff are excellent. I have been coming to them for years and I have never had an issue. The office is very clean & the atmosphere is so pleasant.
